Prologue

Eliya screamed and slumped on the floor shaking in fear. T he creature had burst in breaking the door down with it's offensive roar clearly showing it was angry and in one strike with it's massive claw struck her father on the face and ripped out his heart. Eliya trembled she couldn't move she stood there watching the creature,her father's heart in his claws . She was shocked how quickly her father had died she wanted to cry but for the sake of her own life too she didnt make a sound. Suddenly the creature turned to her direction looking at her but she couldn't move her little legs were trembling,then the creature growled and burst out of the house . "Eliya it's gone, be calm be calm..." she recited to herself, after a few minutes she became calm but as she saw the state her dead father was in she burst into tears . "Dad, dad.." she continued but no response she reached his corpse and the sight was horrifying. Her father's eyeball hung loose from it's sockets with five lines across its face cutting off half of his ear . Eliya stood there looking at the corpse with continuous tears rolling out her eyes"Where would I go what should I do?"Eliya thought . Eliya was just 10 years of age her mother died when she was five and although her father hated her and always mistreated her, he was all she had."I should report this to Mrs Oliver " she ran out;of the house and saw the claw prints of the creature,she didn't really observe due to the drastic situation which was still unreal to her and ran acrossthe road suddenly a car came across and hit her sending Eliya up and hitting her massively on a rock which had made her loose a lot of blood and pass out due to the unbearable pain.
