Between Universes: A Saiyan's Duty

Hanasia was doing well, better than I expected, honestly. Turles, on the other hand, was grinning, he was enjoying this. Every time Hanasia landed a blow, he countered just a little faster, a little harder, and I could see him gaining the upper hand as the fight went on.

"Not bad," Turles said, ducking under one of her punches and countering with a knee to her gut. Hanasia grimaced but didn't back down. "You've come a long way since we were kids."

"You're gonna wish I hadn't!" she snarled, throwing a roundhouse kick that barely missed his head.

But I could see it, he was moving the fight toward one of the **fruits**. That damn **Tree of Might** had already produced a few of the red fruits, and I knew exactly what would happen if he managed to get his hands on one.

"**Hanasia!**" I shouted, dodging a blast from one of Turles' men as I powered up into my **Ikari** form. My aura surged around me, but I knew it still wouldn't be enough if Turles ate one of those fruits. "**Eat one of the fruits! Don't let him get it!**"

Hanasia shot a glance toward the fruit, realizing what I meant. She hesitated for a moment, Oh come the fuck on, we eat food in the Toriko universe that does the same fucking thing, but then made a quick decision, breaking away from Turles and lunging toward the closest red fruit hanging from one of the branches.

Turles' eyes narrowed as he realized what was happening. "Oh, no you don't," he growled, starting to move toward her. But I wasn't about to let him stop her.

I charged at him, my Ikari form pushing me forward with blinding speed. His henchmen were nothing to me at this point. They may have had some strength, but against the power I was putting out now, they were like flies buzzing around my head. I grabbed one by the neck, my fingers digging in, and without hesitation, slammed him into the ground. The earth cracked beneath him, his body crumpling lifelessly.

The others rushed me, but I was in no mood to play games. I ripped through them with brutality. A swift kick sent one flying into a pillar of rock, shattering his spine on impact. Another tried to blast me with a ki attack, which I just tanked, closing the gap and delivering a crushing punch to his chest, my fist coming out the other side.

**Rebellion Spear.** I gathered the energy, the sharp beam of ki forming in my hand. As one of the henchmen tried to tackle me from behind, I spun and drove the spear right through his head, the beam tearing through flesh and bone as he fell dead at my feet.

I turned back to Turles just as he reached for the fruit. **Damn it.**

"Too late, Celera," he sneered, yanking a bright red fruit from the tree. He wasted no time, biting into it with a sickening crunch. His aura immediately flared, the power surge palpable in the air. The ground trembled beneath us as his power skyrocketed, a massive leap that made my own Ikari form feel insignificant by comparison.

**Shit.**

His power was now well beyond anything I had sensed from him before, his battle power soaring to 300,000, an astronomical leap from the 19,000 he had before. I was strong, my Ikari form giving me a solid power boost to 250,000, but it wasn't enough not that that would stop me from trying.

I clenched my fists as Turles grinned, his aura pulsating with newfound strength. "You should've joined me when you had the chance," he taunted, cracking his knuckles. "But I'll give you one last offer. Join me, Celera. Together, we can kill Freiza and his race for what they did to ours."

I glared at him, spitting to the side. "You think I'd ever follow you, Turles? Not in a million years."

He shrugged. "Suit yourself. But you can only blame yourself for what's about to happen."

Before I could react, Turles charged at me with a speed I couldn't react to fast enough, his fist connecting with my stomach. The air was driven from my lungs, and the force sent me flying backward, slamming into the side of the tree with enough force to crack the bark. Pain exploded in my ribs, though it wasn't broken thankfully. Really glad I had Smart Cell [or smart atoms I forget] otherwise, he might have done more damage.

"You're tougher than you look," he said with a smirk, closing the distance between us with a few casual steps. "But let's see how long that lasts."

He came at me again, and I barely had time to block his next punch. The impact sent shockwaves through my arms, and I could feel my bones strain under the pressure. He was **too strong** now. But that made it so much more exciting.

I retaliated with a series of punches and kicks, but he dodged them, and the ones that did land didn't seem to cause that much damage to him. Before I could land another hit, he grabbed my arm and twisted, throwing me into the ground with a thunderous crash. The earth beneath me cracked.

But I wasn't done yet. **Not even close.**

As I struggled to my feet, I saw Raditz out of the corner of my eye, launching himself at Turles from behind. He wasn't wasting time, Typical Raditz. He came in with a double-handed strike aimed at Turles' head, but Turles dodged it with ease, countering with a knee to Raditz's gut that sent him crashing into the ground.

"Raditz!" I shouted, but there was nothing I could do.

Meanwhile, I saw Hanasia and Tato reaching for the fruits. Good. **They'd need it.** If any of us were going to survive this, we had to get stronger fast.

Turles turned back to me, laughing as he wiped a drop of blood from his lip. "This is pathetic, Celera. I expected more from you."

I growled, summoning every ounce of strength I had left. I charged at him again, But he was ready. He caught my punch, twisting my arm behind my back and slamming me into the ground once more. My vision blurred as pain shot through me.

Every time I tried to rise, he was there, beating me down. My pride screamed at me to keep fighting, and I did.

"You're only delaying the inevitable," Turles said, his voice a mocking whisper as he leaned down. "But I'll give you one last chance. Join me, Celera. Together, we could rule worlds."

I spat blood at his feet. "I'd rather die."

His eyes flashed with anger, and he lifted me by the throat, his grip tightening. "That can be arranged."

But before he could finish me off, I saw Tato and Hanasia leap from the branches of the tree, each of them having taken a fruit. Their power surged as they landed on the battlefield, their auras burning brighter than ever before.

Turles dropped me, his attention shifting to them. I coughed, trying to catch my breath as I watched the others prepare for battle. Their power levels had skyrocketed.

Turles' laughter echoed through the clearing as he looked over at Tato and Hanasia, their auras blazing after consuming the fruit of the Tree of Might. He was strong, but even he could sense the surge in their power. Still, his arrogance remained, completely unaware of what was about to happen.

While Turles was focused on them, Raditz stood tall, his single eye glowing bright white. I knew what was coming, and so did Tato and Hanasia, we'd seen it before. But Turles had no idea.

"Raditz," I said softly, wiping the blood from my lips as I watched him from a distance. "kick his fucking ass."

Raditz grinned, his muscles tensing as he let out a deep, guttural growl. Without warning, his body began to grow, towering above the battlefield. His features twisted, and his body expanded until he was standing as a massive **Great Ape**. The ground trembled beneath his weight, and the power radiating from him was almost overwhelming. His control over this form was perfect, no wild rampaging, no loss of reason. Just pure, raw power.

Turles, now standing before the behemoth Raditz had become, looked genuinely confused. "How… How did you transform?" he shouted, looking to the sky in disbelief. "There's no moon!"

Raditz chuckled, his deep voice rumbling like thunder. "You're not the only one who's gotten stronger, Turles. I don't need a moon anymore."

Turles' eyes widened in disbelief, and I couldn't blame him. Raditz, with his power already multiplied from the Tree of Might fruit, was now pushing past anything Turles could have imagined. His base power of **17,000** had been boosted to **266,900** after consuming the fruit. But with the **Great Ape** transformation, that was now **2,669,000**. A terrifying number that left even me stunned for a moment.

I watched as Turles hesitated, clearly realizing just how outmatched he was now. His confidence gone, and for good reason. Raditz, in his Great Ape form, was a living mountain of power. The only drawback was his speed, but if he could land a hit… it was over.

While Raditz towered over Turles, Tato, and Hanasia rushed toward the Tree of Might, their focus now on destroying the source of this chaos. I was right behind them. But even as I flew, I couldn't help but glance back at Raditz, watching as he swung his massive fist down toward Turles.

Turles barely dodged his speed just enough to evade the crushing blow. But Raditz wasn't playing around. He let out a thunderous roar, his massive form moving forward with surprising agility for something so large. Each step he took shook the ground, and every swing of his fists sent shockwaves through the air. he was faster than before. faster then a great ape should be.

Turles, despite his power boost from the fruit, was struggling to land any significant hits. Every attack he threw was either dodged or tanked by Raditz's enormous body. His ki blasts, normally devastating, barely scorched Raditz's fur. Raditz, on the other hand, was relentless. He threw another punch, this time catching Turles off guard and sending him flying through several bolders.

"Is that all you've got, Turles?" Raditz taunted, his voice booming across the battlefield. "You're nothing compared to me now!"

I couldn't help but smirk. This was Raditz's fight, and he was handling it. But that didn't mean we could let our guard down.

"Alright, let's deal with this tree," I said, turning my attention back to the towering monstrosity that was the **Tree of Might**. Its roots had burrowed deep into the planet, and the massive red fruits it bore. We had to destroy it before it drained any more of Earth's life force.

Hanasia and Tato stood beside me, and without a word, we all powered up, gathering our energy. The familiar hum of ki filled the air, and I could feel the ground tremble beneath us as our auras flared. We were going to take this tree down, no question.

"**Shredder Shot!**" I called out, forming a concentrated sphere of energy in my hand. Tato and Hanasia followed suit, their own ki blasts forming in their palms. The energy pulsed and crackled as we focused our power, we launched our attacks toward the tree.

The three blasts spiraled together, merging into one massive beam of destructive energy. It shot toward the tree with incredible speed, ripping through the air and slamming into the trunk. The force of the impact sent shockwaves across the battlefield, and I watched as the bark cracked and splintered under the pressure.

The ground beneath the tree quaked, and I could see the roots beginning to wither as the life force it had stolen started to return to the planet. But the tree wasn't done yet, it was resilient, still clinging to the last remnants of its stolen energy.

But before we could fire, I felt a strange pull my gaze shifted to one of the fruits hanging low on a branch. It glowed red, tempting, and I realized I hadn't eaten one yet. The idea of being left behind by them didn't sit well with me. They were all so much stronger now, and if I didn't eat this fruit, I'd be left in the dust.

Without hesitation, I shot forward, ripping the fruit from the tree and sinking my teeth into it. The moment the fruit hit my tongue, I felt a surge of power, more intense than anything I'd ever experienced. My muscles burned with new strength, my ki swelling far beyond its previous limits.

My power level had been **25,000**, but after eating the fruit, it shot up to an incredible **392,500**. The rush was exhilarating. I felt alive, But I didn't waste time basking in the power I turned back to Tato and Hanasia, who nodded.

We gathered our ki once more, this time with even more force behind it. we each shouted as we used our own ki move, launching the combined blast directly at the tree. The beam tore through the air, hitting the tree with a force that shook the earth itself.

The trunk exploded, splintering into countless pieces as the energy ripped through it. The roots shriveled and died, and the tree of might collapsed in a heap of burning debris.

Turles, who had been watching in disbelief as we destroyed the tree, turned his gaze back to Raditz. The Great Ape's towering form cast a shadow over him, and for the first time, I saw real fear in Turles' eyes.

Raditz stepped forward, his massive foot shaking the ground as he loomed over Turles. "It's over," he rumbled, his voice deep and resonant. "You can't win. But I'll give you one chance, one last chance to change. You can walk away from this, Turles. Be better, like I did."

Turles' eyes flickered with desperation. He looked around, probably searching for a way out, but he knew he had no options left. Slowly, he raised his hands in surrender. "Fine," he said, his voice dripping with false humility. "I'll change. I'll join you."

Raditz hesitated, his gaze narrowing.

Turles forced a smile. "You're right, Raditz. I'm beaten. I'll follow your lead."

I watched him closely, my gut telling me that Turles was lying. He was a sneaky, lying bastard who would use any chance to survive. But Raditz wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, and for now, I'd respect that. But I didn't trust Turles. **Not one bit.**

Raditz lowered his massive hand, offering Turles a chance to stand. Turles took it, slowly rising to his feet. But I kept my eyes on him, my instincts screaming that this wasn't over.

We stood in the shattered remains of the Tree of Might smolders. The air was thick with the scent of burned wood and scorched earth. Turles lay on the ground, beaten and bruised, his once proud and menacing aura flickering weakly after the thrashing Raditz had given him. He shot me a venomous glare, filled with anger and contempt, but I ignored it. There were more pressing matters to deal with now than indulging his rage.

"Alright," I said firmly, breaking the silence as I turned to face the others. "We're taking him to Kami's Lookout. He's too dangerous to leave here, and we need a place to keep him until I can send him to Mansam."

Raditz, still towering in his Great Ape form, grunted in agreement before he began the arduous process of reverting back to his regular size. His massive figure shrank, muscles contracting, until he stood before us, back in his human-like Saiyan form. He rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck, shaking off the lingering effects of the transformation. His sharp eyes flicked over to Turles, still wary.

I nodded, already considering the risks. "It's the best option we have. Kami's Lookout is isolated, and we can make sure Turles stays contained. It won't be for long, just until I can get him to Mansam. Besides, we've got leverage. Kami owes us for saving the Earth from that tree."

Tato, his arms crossed and his expression skeptical, chimed in. "And you think Kami's just going to let us use his place like that? He doesn't exactly trust us, let alone someone like Turles. You sure about this?"

"It doesn't matter," I replied, keeping my voice steady. "Kami doesn't have a choice. He can't afford to let this planet go up in smoke, and he knows it."

Hanasia, leaning lazily against a nearby rock, let out a chuckle. "Guess we'll find out how much Kami values his peace and quiet. Either way, we need to move."

Without further argument, we lifted off, taking to the sky. Raditz and Tato each took one side of Turles, holding him between them as we flew toward the Lookout. The flight was swift, Below us, the world stretched out endlessly, but up here, we were alone with our thoughts. The clouds parted as we neared Kami's Lookout.

We landed lightly on the polished tiles, and the moment our feet touched the ground, Kami emerged from the central building, his expression as inscrutable as ever. Mr. Popo followed closely behind, his dark eyes unreadable as they flicked from us to the captive Saiyan.

Kami spoke first, his voice calm but guarded. "To what do I owe this unexpected visit?"

I stepped forward, meeting his gaze with unwavering determination. "We need a place to keep him temporarily," I explained, gesturing toward Turles. "Somewhere he can't cause trouble."

Kami's eyes shifted to Turles, narrowing slightly before returning to me. "And you bring him here? To my sanctuary? Why should I agree to this?"

I met his stare head-on, he was beginning to piss me off. "Because we just saved the planet from being devoured by the Tree of Might. You owe us. And right now, you're the only one with the facilities to keep someone like him from causing more damage."

Kami's frown deepened, but he didn't immediately dismiss the idea. "And what exactly do you propose?"

"The Room of Spirit and Time," I said, my tone leaving no room for argument. "You'll adjust the time difference so that one day out here is only thirty minutes inside. That way, Turles won't have time to heal or gather his strength."

Kami's eyes flickered with surprise, though he quickly masked it. "How do you know about that room? Very few are aware of its existence."

I shrugged casually, already prepared for the question. "Goku told me about it," I lied smoothly, knowing the name would be enough to pacify him for now.

Kami didn't look entirely convinced, but he let it slide. "And you think you can just leave him in there?"

I took a step closer to Turles, my voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. "Besides, it's only until tomorrow. By then, I'll transport him to a place where he won't be able to cause any more problems."

Kami considered this for a long moment before nodding. "Very well. But know this, If anything goes wrong, it's on you."

"Fair enough," I said, unfazed. "Just make sure he stays locked up tight."

Turles, who had been silent up until now, scoffed. "You think a mere room can hold me? I've broken out of worse."

I stepped right up to him, my eyes narrowing with cold fury. "Try it," I growled, my voice low and threatening. "I dare you. You so much as breathe wrong, and I'll make sure you rot in the dead Zone."

Turles' smug grin faltered, if only for a second, but he held his ground clearly not sure what I meant by that. "Ive already told you I'm going to change over to a new leaf." they way he looked at me, oh it would be so much easier just to kill him now and end this...

Raditz shoved him forward. "Enough talk. Move."

With Turles subdued, we escorted him to the entrance of the Room of Spirit and Time. As the heavy door creaked open, Turles glanced over his shoulder at me, his eyes sharp with curiosity. "This Mansam you're sending me to," he sneered. "Who is he? Some Earthling you think can handle me?"

I allowed myself a small smirk. "Let's just say he's on a level you can't even begin to comprehend. Even Raditz in his Great Ape form wouldn't stand a chance against him."

Turles raised an eyebrow, his skepticism evident. "I find that hard to believe."

Raditz snorted. "Believe it. You're out of your league."

We shoved Turles through the doorway, And i slammed my fingers into his chest and then the rest of his body as I used knocking. It was only good for at least half an hour before the target naturally got out of it. but that's all the time I needed, the heavy door slamming shut with a resounding thud. As the magical seals activated, locking him inside.

"That should hold him," I said, turning to Kami.

Kami nodded stiffly. "I'll hold you to your word. Make sure you remove him from here as soon as possible."

"First thing tomorrow," I promised.

Satisfied for the moment, Kami turned and left us to rest. The battle had drained us, and even with the power boost from the fruit, we needed time to recover. Hanasia stretched out on the cool tiles of the Lookout, gazing up at the fading sky.

"So, what's the plan now?" she asked, her voice lazy but curious.

I leaned against a nearby pillar, arms crossed. "Dr. Brief should have the ship ready by tomorrow. You three will head to Namek."

Tato raised an eyebrow. "And what about you?"

"I need to deliver Turles to Mansam first," I explained. "I can't open a portal until tomorrow. After that, So you have two day head start before I'll catch up."

Hanasia let out a soft chuckle. "I almost feel bad for Turles. Almost."

"Don't," I said coldly. "He brought this on himself."

The night passed uneventfully, and as dawn broke, I felt the familiar pull of my portal-opening ability returning. I stood up, shaking the stiffness from my limbs. "Time to move."

We gathered near the entrance to the Lookout. As the morning light bathed the floating island in a warm glow, I turned to the others. "I'll take Turles to Mansam. You three head to Capsule Corp. The ship should be ready."

With a nod, Raditz, Tato, and Hanasia took off, flying toward West City. I turned back to the Room of Spirit and Time.

Opening the door, I found Turles waiting, arms crossed and a smirk playing at the corner of his mouth. "Time's up," I said, my tone cold.

"Finally come to let me out?" he asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"More like transferring you to a new cage," I retorted, focusing my energy as I opened a swirling portal back to the Toriko universe.

Turles hesitated, his eyes narrowing in surprise as he peered into the portal. I gestured for him to move. Reluctantly, he stepped through, and I followed close behind.

We emerged at the devils athletics and I grabbed him by his tail and dragged him as I flew towards Gourment Corp on this island, the air thick with the scents of wild beasts and the hum of untamed energy. As I landed on Mansam balcony I treated his bet beast cat and walked into his office. A curious smile tugged at his lips. "Back so soon, Celera?"

I nodded. "I brought you a package. A Saiyan who needs… supervision."

Mansam eyed Turles, his grin widening. "This one looks like he could use a lesson in humility."

Turles bristled, his pride stung. "I don't take orders from anyone."

Mansam's grin didn't falter. "You do now."

Fasha who was walking in with a large dinner plate smiled as she saw me but her smile turned into surprise as she saw Turles. "Ah, another of Bardock's brats."

As Turles shot me a final glare, I nodded to her question. "oh is the old man knocking here?"

Mansan knew who I was asking for. "No not at the moment, while I see where your mind is heading, this punk here won't cause so much as fart without my say so." Mansam Hunger demon appeared behind him causing even me to tremble, as I turned to look at Turles he was sweating like he just got out of a shower.

"Well, I'll be around if you need me at least for the day before I head back to deal with other things in my old Universe," I said, stretching as I walked back out the way I came in. "Oh make sure you break him Mansam. I smiled as I shot Turles one last look.

[ as you know once we get past the Frieza saga ill stop keeping track of power levels cause Im not hurting my brain doing that.]
