-Chapter 1-

Alex idly taps his finger on the back of his phone. Suddenly, he looks at his phone and goes onto my Messages. He texts his friends, Kylo, Mack, and Kyle, "How about we go camping?" Almost immediately, Kylo and Kyle answer, "Yes!" And then after a minute, Mack answers yes too. Alex messages, "Get sleeping bag, tent, and other things like flashlights. We'll meet at Crossroad Hill around 3 PM." Alex flips his wrist to glance at his watch. He looks at his watch and realizes that it's almost 3. He stands up and rushes to get all of his things. He grabs a tent, flashlight, and 2 sleeping bags just in case someone needs to borrow one. He gets dressed into something else and he grabs his car keys and walks out of his house and gets in his car. After a moment of trying to start his car, it starts and he begins the drive to Crossroad Hill.
