The Girl In The Mist (Pt-2)

After five hours of constant flight, in which they mostly flew over the seas seperating fire and water country, he could see the main islands of the water country in sight so he quickly placed his hiate in a the storage seal on his left wrist before activating his sharingan and saying,

" Fusaki you can go back I'll take it from here thank you the ride"

And gave the dragon a small wave from jumping from the dragon's back straight down.

As Fusaki went back to the dragon clan's home, Ryu was falling downwards at a high speed and not wanting to brake any bones on collision with the sea water he quickly concentrated large amount of chakra around his body. As with a small splash Ryu dived into the sea a little away from the shore of main island and his small head popped slightly out the water to observe the shore, he already knew he would have to avoid the kirigakure anbu if he wanted to complete his mission.

After 15 minutes of simply floating in cold see water Ryu finally found his opportunity when he saw a large merchant ship sailing probably towards the merchant port and knowing he couldn't miss this opportunity, just as the ship seemed to sail past him he used chakra to stick to the base of the ship and quickly using his stealth got onboard where he saw a couple of rich merchants who were probably bringing in thier goods for sale.

After half an hour of sailing in the waters, the ship finally arrived at the port of the water country, as the merchants went to thier cabins to pack thier things Ryu followed one of the merchant who was pretty fat with protuding belly and was wearing two gold chains and bracelets with diamond rings on the fingers. As Ryu sneaked into the room with the merchant and quietly locked the door while the merchant was packing his stuff, before Ryu appeared right behind the merchant with his arm covered in sharp wind chakra and said softly,

"Futon: Wind Blade"

Thrusting the blade right at the back of merchants mouth who died without making a sound and fell to the ground with a thud spurting blood all over the floor.

Seeing this Ryu quickly took out a sealing tag with a kanji for 'Fire' written in the middle of it and slapped it on the dead merchant's chest before saying,

"Kai"

As the merchant's body went up in flamed leaving only bones and ashes behind, Ryu then summouned two shadow clones who got to work and quickly cleaned off the place and discarded the ashes and bones while Ryu activated his sharingan and moved through handseals casting a double layered sharingan genjutsu on himself as his body shimmered before turning identical to that of the now dead merchant.

After taking the luggage he exited the room and went back to the deck of ship to see many of workers already unloading the luggage and most of them bowed to him, more importantly he saw two kiri jounins standing at the exit of the ship and were identifying the merchants however Ryu was confident in his sharingan genjutsu and with a change expression on his face making him look arrogant walked towards the exit.

As the two jounin's identified him and checked his luggage before sending him off without any hesitation which Ryu thought was because the merchant must be a somewhat famous merchant in these areas.

As Ryu walked the streets of kirigakure before going to a shop and buying some normal civilian clothing for himself he went into a dark alley where he let the genjutsu down, changed into the black yukata tieing a dark red belt and putted on normal sandals before sealing his still wet clothes in a scroll.

As Ryu headed out the alley and went to a small restraunt to have his lunch while also doing some information gathering.

-2 days later-

-Kirigakure-

It had been two while days since he had arrived in the hidden mist village and in the two days he had done a lot of information gathering but couldn't seem to find anything relatively important and was kind of getting bored here but he still continued on with the mission.

The past two days Ryu had been sleeping at an inn after he had exchanged the dead merchant's gold for money and had plenty of money to survive here for months, what he was worried was that the Kiri shinobis must've started the investigations for the missing rich merchant and knew he couldn't stay here for more than 5 days but it was a part of plan to distract the Kiri shinobi so he can do his information gathering more efficiently.

As of now it was evening and Ryu was simply walking towards the inn after picking up his dinner from one of the nearby restraunts, the street was relatively empty with only 1 to 2 people around , just then he noticed a small frail girl of fair skin in dirty and torn clothing sitting at the edge of the pathway with her knees folded upto her head, the most noticeable thing about her was her straight long white hair much like Sakumo but while Sakumo had greyish tint to his hair, the girl's hair was purely white.

Seeing another child of his age looking so frail and weak made him a little sad but the thing was that when he had activated his sharingan and looked at her he could a see something weird with chakra, although it was normal it felt too mixed up in itself and curiosity got the better of him and with the motive of wanting to know the girl's mystery he went and sat on the ground just besides her, making the girl look upto him showing her shining emerald green eyes which reflected a lot of pain and sadness in them and looked at him with uncertainty and asked,

"W-who are you?"

As he just gave her a small smile and replied,

"Hello you can call me Ryu, here you look hungry eat this"

Handing over the cinnamon buns he had bought while the girl just looked at him with wide and shocked eyes and asked him softly,

"Why?"

"What do you mean why, afterall no one should stay hungry as much as you"

As tears started to leak from the girls eyes and then the girl's stomach gave a small growled making the girl blush slightly and wipe her tears before accepting the bun and muttering a,

"Thank you"

And started to slowly eat the bun in dignified manner as if she had been taught really good manners making her look like a cute bunny in his opinion, before she looked at him with her beautiful emerald green eyes and said with a graceful smile,

"My name is Kiyomi Yuki nice to meet to meet you Ryu kun"

Making him raise a brow in fascination and think to himself,

'She's from the famous Yuki clan, things just got intresting again'

- 4 days later -

It had been 4 days since he had met the mysterious girl, after Kiyomi had finished eating the cinnamon buns he had taken her to market to buy some clean clothes for her before he took her back to the inn where she took a bath and changed into new clothes which were a flower printed sky blue yukata with white flowers at bottom and a white belt to tie at waist.

After freshening up Kiyomi had sat down and told him that she was a former member of the Yuki clan living with only her mother and on one fateful day while playing with other kids at park she had spewed some lava from the mouth showing the kekkei genkai of Yuki clan's arch rivals the terumi clan, apparently her mother had an affair with a man of the terumi clan, but the man had died in a high ranking mission.

When the Yuki clan head had found out about Kiyomi possessing both the ice and lava release he was furious and had ordered her execution, afterall kirigakure was a pretty cruel place to live, but Kiyomi's mother had interfered and offered her own life instead.

After Kiyomi's mother's death Kiyomi had been banished by her own clan and was looked down as an abomination by her own family members.

Hearing Kiyomi's story made Ryu's blood boil with anger and he couldn't help but relate to her as both of them have lost thier mother's and Ryu felt a sort of connection with her, he didn't knew why she had trusted him so much but he guessed she just needed someone to lean onto after what she's been through.

As Kiyomi had been telling him her story she had started crying softly afterall she was still a child and had just lost a mother, so at the end Ryu had wiped her tears and promised her that from now on he would take care of her would take her to his home which made her hug him tightly, Ryu knew he shouldn't have done this and only hoped that the hokage would be convinced by Kiyomi's dual kekkei genkai to let her stay in the village.

The very next morning he had clarified to Kiyomi that he was a konoha shinobi on a mission in Kiri, hearing this Kiyomi was suprised at him being a shinobi at this age but at the end just gave him a sweet smile and told him that she'll go wherever he would.

In the past four days he hadn't forgotten about his mission and continued his information gathering, although the security in the village had been increased due to them suspecting a spy because of the merchant's untimely disappearance , he had managed to find out some shocking, the sanbi jinchuriki was taking part in this year's chunin exams.

Ryu knew what jinchuriki and tailed beasts were since he had read a lot about them from the uchiha library and knew he now had vital info on Kiri and it was time for himself and Kiyomi to get back to konoha.

As of right now Ryu and Kiyomi had packed thier stuff and appeared in a abandoned section in the village and he had already the information about the jinchuriki to the hokage via a messenger dragon so as not to delay anything.

As Ryu let go of Kiyomi's evercold hand and the Yuki already missed his warmth, she herself didn't knew why she had trusted him so much but she didn't regret her descision, just then Ryu went through handseals and said,

"Summouning jutsu"

And in puff of smoke Fusaki appeared which made Kiyomi's eyes widen with awe and fascination, seeing her reaction made Ryu smile slightly as he threw the roasted meat he had brought to the dragon who gulped it down.

As Ryu turned to Kiyomi and said reassuring her,

"Lets go Kiyomi it'll take almost 5 hours for us to reach konoha and there I can talk with the uchiha clan head and the hokage so that you can live in my village peacefully"

Hearing this Kiyomi just gratefully nodded at him before he helped her climb the dragon before he himself got in front of Kiyomi and said seriously,

"Kiyomi hold onto me tight, Fusaki fly straight up and fly to konoha as fast as you can mind to avoid detection"

As Kiyomi just wrapped her arms around Ryu's stomach and rested her cheek on his shoulder which had a pinkish blush on it before Fusaki gave a small growl of approval and flew head up into the clouds without making a sound and started flying towards konoha.

Meanwhile Kiyomi looked down at the village hidden in the mist sadly and then looked at Ryu thinking,

'Goobye kaa chan I think I'll be fine from here on'

and again rested her blushing cheek on his Ryu shoulder while admiring the view below her.
