The Girl In The Mist (Pt-1)

It had been a month since Ryu had signed the dragon clan summouning contract, after talking for an hour with the white dragon who was apparently the dragon sage master and the supervisor of the dragon clan named Nakuma who explained him about the powers and rules of the dragon clan, he had been sent back to konoha right back in the uchiha clans library where Kagami's shadow clone was waiting for him.

Upon seeing him return with bandages around his chest but still alive Kagami was really shocked and the clan head asked him some questions about the legendary dragon clan all of which he calmy answered before both of them left the uchiha library since his wounds weren't fully healed yet and he needed to rest at least for a day.

Also the dark red dragon he had fought was actually the boss of the dragon clan and the strongest dragon in the entire clan as informed to him by Nakuma.

From what Nakuma had told him the dragon clan specialized in combat, poison and tracking and most of them used lightning, fire or wind based jutsu's, also the thing that excited him the most was that the dragon clan had thier own kenjutsu style which was to be taught to the summouner meaning him.

Also the dragon clan sage had solved one of his greatest headaches by gifting him a katana especially for thier summoner which was made up of pitch black chakra conducting metal with its handle having a black dragon with slitted red eyes as it's head.

Nakuma had told him that the metal was really ancient and couldn't be broken, moreover the fascinating thing was that on passing his chakra through the katana which Ryu had decided name 'kurohime', the blade would get covered in extremely potent and visible violet outlined black chakra and from what Nakuma had told him once kurohime's full potential had been unveiled it could even slice through mountains.

As of right now he wasn't tall enough to carry such a long katana he just sealed it his right wrist. After a day of rest Ryu had went and told Sakumo about his adventures to the dragon clan's home and even showed his sensei his kurohime before both had a brief spar in kenjutsu and kurohime really went head to head with white fang making Ryu really happy seeing he wouldn't have to waste his money on buying tantos anymore.

Even with the glowing white fang, kurohime's black chakra was able to keep up and even managed to push the whit fang saber back a little bit. Also when he tries the summouning jutsu for the first time after coming back, he had managed to summon a black coloured dragon with slitted blood red eyes just like the one on head of kurohime's handle and two small horns poking at it's head and a long spiky tail and introduced himself as Naga the son of the boss dragon Zoki, Naga was the size of a cat and was apparently very young much like him.

From what Naga had told him Naga was supposed to be his personal summon of his which he didn't really have a problem with, Naga was around a cats size and could already use some low level fire and lightning jutsu's but Naga's speed and reflexes were fast.

In these past few months Ryu had been simply going to dragon clan home to learn the basics of thier kenjutsu and getting the familiar with kurohime, he had also done another 2 B ranked assassination missions with Sakumo making his shinobi mission record pretty exceptional for a six years old.

In the past month he had also introduced Naga to Mikoto who had absolutely loved the small dragon , if only she could know how scary and big they grow up to be, in the past month he had also learned a couple of B ranked jutsu's from the uchiha clan library as he had been permitted to enter the chunin section by Kagami himself so no one questioned it.

As of now Ryu was simply lying in his bed taking a little break day afterall he only came back yesterday from a B rank security mission and was pretty exhausted doing three B ranked missions in a month and was thinking about flying on Naga's back when he grew big like Zoki and just then someone knocked on his door interrupting his trail of thought.

As Ryu went and opened the door to see an anbu with boar masked anbu standing on his porch who looked at him and said,

"Genin Ryu uchiha, hokage sama has summouned you immediately"

"Ok I'll be there in a minute"

As the anbu vanished in a puff of smoke Ryu went and locked his door before he too disappeared in thin air.

Upon appearing at the hokage tower he walked inside, and climbed a few stairs and went down the hallway to see the door to the hokage's office with a young women in her early twenties probably the receptionist was sitting right outside while going through a file, upon seeing him the woman smiled and said,

"Oh you must be Uchiha Ryu please go in hokage sama is waiting for you"

As Ryu just gave her a nod and went inside the office to see the third hokage sitting on a chair with a smoking pipe in his mouth and was reading some documents.

As Hiruzen looked up to him and smiled saying,

"Ryu kun go on take a seat"

As he just gave a slight bow of respect to the hokage before taking a seat in front of Hiruzen who calmly took a puff of his pipe and the smoke in air saying,

"How are you Ryu kun did you take some rest after the last mission you did?"

"Hai thank you for your concern hokage sama"

To which Hiruzen nodded before saying,

"I hope you don't mind but I'm assigning you a C ranked solo mission which is quite important for the village"

Now this left Ryu in confusion afterall if the mission was so important the hokage probably should have assigned it to a jounin or an experienced chunin at least but he none the less nodded, making Hiruzen give him a kind smile saying,

"Thats good, now onto more important matters I want to inform you that Sakumo had registered you to the upcoming chunin exams held in the hidden sand village, in which all five nations are sending teams to

,in two weeks as a solo participant I hope you don't have any objections to that"

Now that made things a little clearer for Ryu he anticipated that the hokage was just testing him if he was capable enough to handle the chunin exams by giving him a solo mission as Ryu just nodded and replied,

"I don't have any objections to this hokage sama"

As Hiruzen nods appreciatingly at him before saying seriously,

"I don't know if Sakumo or Kagami had told you about but the tension between the hidden villages have reached a boiling point and we are anticipating a full out war in two to three years, with this in mind I want you to show absolute dominance in the chunin exams so show our strength to the other hidden villages, we can't afford to lose there"

Ryu hearing this understood the hokage's predicament and nooded seriously replying,

"Then I'll make sure to do just that hokage sama"

Hiruzen was already feeling a little guilty by using a six year child to do all this but still couldn't help but respect Ryu maturity at such young age and think to himself,

'I think you'll be very exceptional Uchiha Ryu'

And said to the child in front of him,

"Alright you go now Ryu kun I won't hold you anymore"

As Ryu nodded and got up giving the hokage a respectful bow before making a ram sign and vanishing in thin air.

As Ryu went to the mission control office and collected the mission scroll he was assigned, it was a simple recon mission but he'll have to infiltrate the land of waters and with his summons who could literally fly in the deep sky's in the cover of clouds it wasn't a hassle for him. Ryu knew that Sakumo had gone to do a top secret mission assigned by the hokage and with only two weeks to go for the chunin exams, Ryu had to complete the mission in at most a week so he could have a week to prepare for the exams and couldn't help but feel excited at the thought of battling shinobis from all five hidden villages. Travelling to kirigakure would be really thrilling in Ryu's opinion since he will be travelling there on dragonback and according to his estimation it'll take around a minimum of 5 hours to reach kirigakure. So as Ryu exited the gates of konoha and registered himself in the logs of gate gaurds, he went through handseals and said,

"Summouning jutsu"

And in puff of smoke a yellowish green dragon with slitted blue eyes appeared in front of him, it's name was 'Fasuki' and was the one the fastest in the dragon clan, Fasuki was a much bigger than him and had very large wings menat for flying and didn't really talk much being the silent type. As Fasuki looked at him and he just threw a couple slices of roasted meat which the dragon gobbled before lowering it's slender neck at him gesturing him to climb up, which he did while feeling the brightly shining yellow scales of the dragon.

As he sat comfortably on Fusaki's back and said,

"To water country Fusaki"

Making the dragon give a grunt of approval before it ran a little forward flapping it's large wings before taking flight going higher in the skies, meanwhile the chunin gaurds were standing with thier eyes wide and jaws hanging absolutely shocked at what they had seen.

While Ryu was simply enjoying the cool winds blowing at his face and beautiful scenery of the fire country beneath him and thought to himself with a calm smile on his face,

'Perhaps I'll just take a couple days off if I manage to complete the mission early and go flying around fire country'
