Chapter 37

I take out a pouch from my bag and take a handful of powder from the pouch. I push a little bit of my prana to the powder and throw it at the guard not too far away from me. In a matter of a second, I can see the five guards fall to the ground. Dead.

This powder is dangerous to people who do not have any magic. If they have any magic in them, they will only go unconscious, but if there is no magic inside of them, this powder will immediately kill them by making their brain cease to function.

This is the only thing I can do to them—a painless death.

With the guard dead, I quickly cast a Sign, and suddenly there is no dead body lying on the ground. While it is rather suspicious there is no guard around, it will not immediately raise the alarm.

After getting inside the base from the front door, I quickly followed the map that one of the professors gave to me. I quickly but carefully walk toward the basement but stop myself when I see ten people sitting near the basement entrance.

After taking a cover, I take out my killing powder once again and take out all of them before throwing them toward my target. Like before, the powder quickly worked as intended, but unlike before, only seven people died from the powder.

Before the rest of the guard could react, I took out my sword and charged toward the rest of the guard before stabbing them right through their heart and throat. It only takes a few seconds before they fall down to the ground, dead.

With a flick of my hand, I cast another illusion and continue to walk to the basement. As I get into the basement, I can see twenty or so cages, and I know all the cages are not empty. I can see humans and even Faunus inside the cages.

Did these bastards capture not only humans but also Faunus?! What kind of freedom fighter does that to their own people? I grit my teeth and hold myself together. I need to make sure there is no one here.

I continued to walk deeper in the basement before my ears caught something.

"Hahahaha!.... Scream!... You pig!"

I can hear manic laughter coming from the deeper part of the basement. I quickly run toward the voice and see three people torturing a young adult human. Her body is filled with cuts, stabs, and even burn injuries.

The young woman releases a silent scream as the White Fang Member rubs salt into her wound while laughing. The fucker enjoy this. Silently I take out my sword and cast a silent bounded field around this area. I know these guys have Aura, and this fight will take a little bit longer.

I put my sword in my right and my stasis rifle in my left hand. I take a deep breath and start to charge my stasis rifle. In five seconds, a ball of stasis flew toward the group of Faunus in front of me. When it hit one of them, the ball spread and stopped them.

Seeing my chance, I quickly take out a small pistol and fire it. After seeing their Aura is gone, I swing my sword and cut their head off. Three seconds later, the stasis ball disappears, and I can see their head fall to the ground.

I look at the young woman who looks at me like I'm a messiah or something. Nah. I think she was just happy that she got rescued.

"Don't worry. You are free. I got you."

"Ahhh… Ooo Ahhh…"

I looked at her for a few seconds before I saw she did not have any teeth and tongue inside her. That bastard took out her tongue.

Hana looks at her savior as if seeing a God descend to earth to rescue her. She did not know how long she and her fellow prisoner were in this hell hole. However, she knows that she has been chosen to entertain the White Fang.

In a matter of seven hours, she has been tortured and ra*ped for multiple types. The first group of people decides to take her virginity. All of her virginity. Mouth, Vagina, and even her buttock.

The second group decided to take her tongue, teeth, and some of her fingers.

The last group also has the same thing in mind. They stab her, burn a part of her body, and use their bladed whip on her body. They then put salt and lemon juice on her body to make her scream even more.

She continues to pray and hope that God will send her a savior, but after the first three hours, she knows that the Faunus is correct and God did not exist and the only God in this world is the one that comes to her which is no one.

However, just like an angel descending from heaven, Angelo arrives in front of her. With the help of a ball of light, he freezes the animal in place before killing them one by one. He glows in the dark just like an angel in the holy book (It was residue prana from his Mystic Code that made him glow a little. It was a side effect of his mystic code. He will glow for a few seconds) and kill the evil on Remnant.

When Angelo tells her that he can heal her and give back her tongue, she realizes that Angelo is not an angel by a God. He is the one that answers her plea, and he is the one that gives back what is lost to her. She decides that she will serve him for the rest of her life.

Angelo did not really know about this decision as he was busy rescuing the other prisoner and healing them using his Medi Staff.

While healing all the prisoners, Qrow arrives in the basement in his bird form before changing into his human form.

"Angelo, how is the situation?"

"As you can see, I successfully got here without any notice. I already cast an illusion spell to hide the body and the smell from the other."

"Ah, that's why I can't see any guard. Anyway, I have already taken all the documents and all the dust they have. "

Qrow takes the bag of holding given by Angelo.

Angelo looked around the base for a moment before nodding his head. He took out four jewels from his bag and placed them in the corner of the room. After placing it down on the ground, Angelo walks to the second floor and places another jewel on the corner of the second floor. He goes to the third and fourth floors to do the same.

After doing that, Angelo goes to the window near him and jumps from the fourth floor. While falling, he quickly cast a silent spell to make sure his landing did not release any sounds before running toward the rendezvous.

When he is far enough from the fort, he activates the jewel from far away. A few seconds later, four red pillars appear around the castle. A second later, a massive explosion is happening. The explosion did not release any sound or catch the tree outside the pillar on fire.

Later that morning, Adam Taurus is greeted by his so-called hidden base that has been destroyed, and the only thing left behind is ashes. When he sees his base turned into ashes, his mind starts to think of a woman with black hair and embers eyes.

His blind fury made him not think that he had just met with Cinder not too long ago.
