Chapter 24

"Oh my gosh! Look at those babies! It-"

I look at a black-haired girl gushing over my gun turret and call them babies. She even patted them as if they were babies and cooed at them before speaking at the speed of light that even I did not understand—something about how the baby has a beautiful minigun.

"Ruby, snap of it!"

The yellow-haired young woman pulls her sister away from the gun turret, which is now filled with drool.

"No! Don't separate me from my baby! I still need to pet it more!"

"Your baby?! It was not yours!"

"Noooo! My baby!"

I can see Taiyang standing on the side, having an amused expression, and helping Yang pull Ruby back. Ren just stands there with his usually calm face, but I can see him smiling at Ruby's behavior. Nora, on the other hand, laughs loudly.

I look at Qrow, who has an amused face before saying.

"When you said that your niece is eccentric, I don't know that she is like this."

"Heh. That is what makes her adorable. She will be even worse when she knows about your submarine."

Before I could say something, Ruby appeared on top of him and hugged Qrow's head with four of her limbs while shouting.

"Submarine?! Where?! Tellllllll me!"

"Ack! Get off me, Ruby!"

"No! Submarine!"

"Ask him! It is not mine!"

Welp, there goes my submarine safety. Before I could react, Ruby already tackled me and shouted at me.

"Can I see your submarine?! Do you have more babies in your submarine?! Can we make more babies together?!"

"Ruby phrasing! Phrasing!"

Yang shouts at the Red Reaper, but she is ignored. I release a sigh before saying.

"Yeah, sure. We can visit the submarine. We have a few hours after all."

"Woohoo!"

The current Ruby is even more hyperactive than Nora, which I thought impossible. It looks like it was not.

When we arrive at where I park the submarine, I decide to inform Elizabeth to let Eli out of the water. When Eli rises from the water, I look at Ruby, but she has already disappeared, to my surprise.

"Wait. Where is Ruby?"

"Wooo!"

I look at Eli and see that she has already put her cheek on the surface of Eli with drool coming out of her mouth. Yang and Taiyang are too busy looking at the submarine, not noticing that their little reaper is already on top of the submarine.

"Can we get inside?!"

They snap from their thoughts when they hear Ruby's voice coming from the submarine. I nodded my head and walked to Eli, followed by Ren and Nora. Taiyang and Yang look at Qrow, who is nodding his head.

Yang looked around in awe. This is the first time she is inside a submarine. She only sees submarines in movies and comics but not in real life. She always imagined that submarines would be filled with many kinds of unknown tech, and she was not disappointed when she saw what was inside Eli.

Many kinds of tech are placed around the submarine. Even with that much machinery, she can see there is still a lot of space to place more items.

"Welcome to V.I.S-Elizabeth."

Ruby raises her hand as if she is in a class.

"Yes?"

"What is V.I.S.?"

"V.I.S. stands for Vast Industrial-use Submarine. That means this submarine is a Vast Industrial-Use Submarine with the codename Elizabeth."

"Ahhh"

Taiyang looks around for a second before saying.

"Industrial-use, does that mean you buy this submarine?"

"No. I made this submarine. I even have the blueprint that I made. That is the class for this submarine. I still have a few more models for submarines: long-distance travel submarine, Racing class submarine, or even military-grade submarine. I only chose to make this submarine because it was the only thing that did not eat too much resource and did not really need too much energy to move. Any other question before we begin the tour?"

Seeing there is no more question, Angelo takes them to the next room after the airlock. When they get inside, they can see many kinds of machinery inside. These are the machines that collect the solar energy from the solar panel outside.

"This is the second floor of the submarine. As you can see, there are many kinds of machines being plugged into the ship's side. This section is an energy gathering room where I collect the energy for the submarine. There is nothing much here. Let's get down."

They walk back to near the airlock before stopping a few meters before the airlock room. Angelo placed his hand on the scanner near the airlock room for a second before suddenly, a hatch on the group opened up.

Angelo and his companion get down using the ladder and arrive in the bridge area. Ruby cannot contain her excitement anymore and quickly teleports across the room, looking at the interesting part she can find.

"Welcome to the bridge! This is where I operate this massive ship. To our right is the helm where I stir the ship."

Angelo walks toward the ship's helm, and when they get close to it, Elizabeth decides to show an array of holograms. From radar to the camera outside the submarine.

"As you can see, I need to see all those things, so the ship did not crash into something. Lucky for me, I have someone to help me. Elizabeth."

A second later, a silhouette of a young woman with long hair appears on the screen.

"This is Elizabeth, my partner."

Ruby looks at the woman in awe and says.

"Wow~ What is she?"

Yang looked at her sister with a shocked face before saying,

"Ruby! Don't be rude."

"I'm sorry! I mean-"

Elizabeth chuckled a little before saying.

"I don't mind. I'm what you guys call an Artificial Intelligence."

"Oh! An A.I.! A fully functioning A.I.!"

An A. I of this world has yet to reach the stage where the Overwatch universe stands. They can make a simple A.I. They cannot make a fully functioning A.I like Elizabeth. This world A.I. can only do a simple task or do a complex task with the program's help inside their system.

On the other hand, Elizabeth has a mind of her own and thinks outside the box, unlike in this world A.I.

"Elizabeth here, help me drive this Submarine through the dangerous sea."

"Wait. Is she the same Elizabeth as this submarine?"

Yang looked at Angelo with a confused expression.

"Yes and No. This submarine's full name is Elizabeth, and Elizabeth over here is the A.I I created this submarine. However, when she grows up and has a personality, I decide to separate her from the submarine. For convenience, we call this submarine Eli and Elizabeth for her."

"Ah."

Yang nodded her head in understanding. Seeing there is no more question, Angelo walks toward his bed and says,

"This bridge is not only the place for me to drive this submarine but also the place for me to sleep and experiment with other devices. To the right is where I sleep as you can see my bed there. To the left is where I spend my day experimenting. Sadly, we cannot go there as it was a private place."

Angelo says that before Ruby could ask Angelo to see what he is working on. Ruby has a disappointed expression, and Yang decides to hug her sister.

"Anyway, let's continue our tour."

After saying that, Angelo continued the tour around the submarine.
