Glynda: "Are you sure that Logan will be okay?" Glynda asked as the elevator doors closed on Yang, Ruby, and Marry as she would be staying with them and their team for now. "I mean, I highly doubt that it's just a hostage situation."
Ozpin: "I understand your concerns, But I have the upmost trust in him." Ozpin replied as he took a sip from his mug, emptying it. "And from what was gathered, the worst case scenario is that more innocent are killed. I fear that will be the case as the current commander is an idiot seeking fame"
Qrow: "You sure?" Qrow asked sitting down and relaxing since Marry is away from him, safe from him.
Salem: "He was one that was rejected from Beacon several times." Salem said as she brought a tray of tea and cups to Ozpin's desk. "Here, Qrow. Peppermint tea to sooth your nerves and everyone's all around. And knowing Logan, he;ll just knock him out to make less work."
Glynda: "Thank you." Glynda and everyone else said as Salem handed out tea. "Back to the situation, something about it seems off."
Qrow: "I'm sure the kid will be fine." Qrow said as he spiked his tea with his flask. "I mean, it's Logan for crying out loud. He'll be fine."
Ozpin: "On another note, Qrow." Ozpin said with his voice will with annoyance. "Did you spike the soda fountain?"
Qrow: "I plead the 5th!" Qrow said a bit too fast for Ozpin's liking.

Logan arrived at the point where police made a command post about a block away from the restaurant that was being used to hold people hostage. Logan had already changed into combat attire which consisted of boots, dark cargo pants, a red shirt with a simple Kevlar vest over it and armpit holsters for his [Crescent Moons]. His helmet was under his arm as he made his way towards the commander of the post. Having already read the document Ozpin sent to his scroll.
Getting to the post, Logan found the commander arguing with several officers completely covered in body armor. Logan got the gist of them as they argued. Apparently, the thugs got a hold of some heavy weaponry that could punch through their armor if they got hit easily and the commander just kept ordering them to get back to their post ignoring their warnings. Logan, having heard enough, knocked out the commander and spoke to the officers that were at the front line of the hostage situation.
Getting the basics of the problems, so far there are ten thugs with basic weaponry, five with heavy weapons, and 30 hostages that are most likely being held in the back kitchen. The kitchen being the most armored due to it being enclosed by metal and the backdoor out of it was barricaded by the thugs made it the biggest reason for this assumption. Knives and the like were also most likely moved out of the kitchen and used to make traps for those who try to get through the front door. The windows were blocked with the tables from the front and not anyone could get a good line of sight on the thugs.
On the good side of the news, They managed to get a floor plan of the restaurant and got a basic idea of where they could be. With the hostages possibly being held in the back would allow them to siege the front if it wasn't for the heavy weapons watching it; yet the back was out in case they were. A breach from the top could work, but the restaurant was situated without any buildings surrounding it making it hard to get to the top without making too much noise.
Logan sighed as to him, this seemed well thought out and plan from the beginning. As he was going over the options before him, he felt a barrel of a gun poke his back. Sighing, Logan turned to find the commander of the post pissed beyond belief. With Logan already having a bad feeling about this already, he just knock the commander out again and this time cuffed him with his own cuffs and had him taken away from here.
Once the commander was taken away, Logan flew up and then landed on top of the restaurant after grabbing a radio from the post. As he landed, Logan activated his [Presence Detection] to get a look inside without alerting those inside. When he did, something was off. The restaurant was only a single story, so Logan should have been able to sense any and all people inside. But, he could only sense a few, not even five were inside the building. His range with his [Presence Detection] was larger then a few blocks, and yet he could only sense those five inside and nobody else.
Logan radioed in and had them pull back after telling them what he found. After letting Logan know the backed to the next block, he slowly dug a hole on top of the roof with his ash. Doing his best to be as quiet as possible, Logan got the hole made and made sure it was large enough to see through. Getting a line of sight inside reveled to Logan that the five were humanoid at least. And thanks to the little bit of light that was shining through the gaps in the barricades, they were sitting down at a table as the lights inside were off.
Logan then covered the hole with his ash to keep it hidden as he sat back and thought of a plan. Radioing in, Logan told the post to send a few people to hot breach the front while he breached the top. Not even five minutes later, a team of six stacked upon the front while Logan got ready up top. A three second count down started to signal when the breach would occur, and when it did it was loud and fast. The team on the ground breached the front door while Logan dropped through the top, cutting a hole with his destructive red flames. Once inside, Logan released normal fire balls to light up the room as the team from the front entered in.
Inside the restaurant seem pretty normal at first glance. But a second pass made it look as if there was a massacre inside. The walls were clawed at by human hands leaving bloody streaks Bones littered the ground, removed from any and all their flesh that once clung to them. Strips and torn pieces of what was once clothing hung from the backs of chairs and lay on top of tables. Five people sat and tied down to chairs in various states of what appeared to be inhumane torture or someone's bloody 'art' that Logan recognized. Chunks of their flesh was peeled away or outright missing in large portions. Some had missing body parts and others looked as if they were millimeters from death's door. One even had the front of his rib cage ripped of and his slowly beating heart could be seen and another had his bottom jaw removed.
The team of six that came in raced out and began puking at the sight and smell. Logan fared better having seen it before, but could tell that none of them would live to see tomorrow. With a heavy heart, Logan drew his gun and put them out of their misery one by one. Logan then radioed in that it was all clear and not to let anyone with weak wills and stomachs to come near the place. After that, Logan called Ozpin about the situation.Needless to say, Ozpin wasn't too happy with what transpired in less then an hour of him getting the call.
Logan then sent some pictures of the place to Ozpin as he wanted to know what happened. When Logan called him back, he could hear puking in the background. Logan finished up with a few questions Ozpin asked him. Then it took 30 minutes to get a crime scene team that could stomach the place to process it all. Even then a good number of them puked at the smell alone and the sight made a few pale.
Logan sighed and began making a sketch of the place while taking a lot of pictures to help the crime scene team get through this without loosing too many people to the scene itself. By the time Logan got back to Ozpin's tower office, it was closing in on midnight. Logan met Ozpin and Salem in the office and talked a good deal about the possibilities behind this massacre. Logan was mentally drained from having to deal with the post commander and then the crime scene team lead who passed out; he practically ran the entire investigation himself. He basically had to deal with all of that and then some as he was one of the few who could look at the scene without having some sort of violent reaction.
By the time they were done, Logan just managed to get to hid room and drop onto his bed. Not even bothering to remove his clothes, just throwing them into his [Inventory] with his boot and socks too. When anyone came by to see if he was okay or if they rang his scroll, he was dead to the world as he slept through it all.
[A/N: Sorry for a shorter chapter. I just had a brain fart and couldn't figure out what to write. But, it's the best I could do for this week.]
