Plans

First of all, Rina never realized stealing a horse was this hard. The horses never cooperated no matter what, and it pissed her off so much. Since the years she spent here in this world, she never got to ride a horse. She usually gets transported in carriages of different sizes, but never directly on a horse.

Compared to her old world, this one was quite backdated. There was nothing rural about it. Here in this world, there was no phones, no cars, no electricity. There was no normal clothes, everyone here wore peticotes and fuckass corsets. Somehow, Rina thought she'd have been used to all of these at this point, but she wasn't, she still missed when everything around her was normal.

As soon as it finally stopping raining this morning after raining throughout the night, Rina had exited the cave and had been in search of a horse to steal. She knew she couldn't afford to get caught, not because she'd unable to defend herself, but because everyone has undoubtedly heard that she and her mother had been chased away by Sinclair, and if they were to catch her stealing a house, it was gonna create a really great problem, one which Rina didn't right now.

Rina ended up accepting defeat after the last horse she tried to steak kicked her in the stomach before neighing so loud, she wheezed as she stumbled away before the noise could attract any attention.

She slowly wandered around the the bush, face in a grimace as she silently cursed her luck out.

The reason why she was looking for a horse, was because she needed it to send Gwen on her way to her parents' house, and she needed to do that before she'd be able to do the next thing on her list. Without Gwen out of the way, Rina wouldn't be able to go kill Sinclair and the rest of the people on her list like she really wanted to.

She mistakenly steps on something that made her wince, and on glancing down at it, it gleamed in the morning sun, causing her to bend and retrieve it. It was a thin, long object, that almost resembled a hair pin. The sharp tip had pieces right through the flimsy things around her feet which were honestly a flimsy excuse for shoes.

As Rina regarded the object closely, an idea struck her and she instantly began to sharpen the object on a nearby rock.

She didn't have her daggers here with her, and she was certainly gonna need something in which she'd used to face off the people she intended to kill, and this object seemed like that was all she needed. After sharpening it even more, she finally lifted it and regarded the tip closely, watching as it gleamed in the sunlight. She glanced around herself, finding what she could use in testing the sharpness of the object out. Almost immediately, she sighted a small antelope and threw the object at it, watching as the object slid right into the throat of the animal. It twitched a few times before completely going still and Rina silently applauded herself as she closed the distance and retrieved the object

She began to wipe it off with wet leaves, and on sighting a snake, she sized it up a few times before finally throwing the object at it, watching as the snake got pinned to the ground at once.

"I'm such a genius." She said aloud with a laugh as she closed the distance and carefully retrieved the object. In that process, another thought struck her and a few moments later, she was dissecting a snake and squeezing out all of its venom, pouring it in a makeshift can and keeping it on her. When the time comes, she'd use it in order to make her victims suffer even more

As Rina exited the bush and began to head for the cave, her high spirit dismantled on remembering that she was yet to find a horse.

As Gwen sighted her from her spot outside the cave, she eagerly waved her over, hands instantly cupping Rina's face once Rina stopped in front of her.

"Where were you, I got worried." She cried out and Rina sighed before tugging Gwen's hands off her face.

"I went to look for a horse." Rina responded flatly and Gwen's eyes narrowed.

"You have money to buy a horse?!"

Rina scoffed. "Of course not. I wanted to steal it, mother."

Gwen looked like she might pass out and Rina sighed. She was certain that Gwen would pass out on realizing all it was that Rina has done in her past life.

"You need a house to travel back home." Rina reminded Gwen who only sighed before grabbing Rina's hands.

"We could just walk, child. Stealing is bad."

"So is hurting one's family members but clearly father didn't care, so why should I?" Rina responded and as expected, Gwen sighed before leading Rina into the cave.

"Come eat, I was able to find some fruits around."

"I'm not hungry, mother. I need to find you a horse." Rina responded before tugging her grip from Gwen's. Gwen didn't seem happy by Rina's response, but she didn't stop Rina as Rina exited the cave, to undoubtedly go search for a horse.

As Gwen watched her daughter leave, she felt fear grip her heart, because it felt like she was losing her daughter.

~~~
Rina ended up finding a horse. Not through stealing like she had hoped, but through gambling. She had to wear a cape so people wouldn't recognize that she was the ex-crowned princess and disowned Sinclair's daughter. She usually secretly studied Sinclair while he gambled with his friends, so she knew how it worked. She was certain Gwen would have a heart attack should she witness her daughter doing something this lowly.
As Rina led the horse back to the cave, she could feel herself bubble with excitement for tonight.
She was gonna be sending Gwen off as soon as she gets back to the cave, then she'd go on a killing mission tonight.
