Now she had a new resolution. By the time she was done, Finn Balford would need her like he needed oxygen. She grinned widely as she walked into her house. 

The next day, Cleo arrived at school determined and ready to take the world by the horns. The first thing she did was to get Finn's school schedule. That way she would know where he was going to be and how she would reach him. 

She managed to get it and sorted out a few things about him.

Let's see him try to run away from me now. 

Allison arrived at her class, a bright smile on her adorable face and her hair tied up in pigtails. She had concluded that Adams High would not be so bad if she just minded her business and ignored everyone else. 

However, the students of Adams High had other ideas. The minute she opened the classroom door, a bag of flour that had been tied to it dropped on her head, spilling flour everywhere. She coughed and spluttered while everyone laughed.
