The moment we made eye contact, the warnings Klaus had given me against Icarus immediately began to pour in, and I was overwhelmed by an unearthly sensation of fear.
"Who is that? Is it me or does he look a lot like Klaus?" Mark asked as he tried to figure out who the man beneath the tree was.
"Who he is shouldn't be our problem at the moment, we should get back to the castle immediately." I suggested, but my words only earned me a look of disdain from Mark.
"Go back? We just left that place, why would you want to go back there?" Mark asked me, confusion and anger etched onto the core of his expressions. "You've wanted to escape right? You want us to be together, don't you? Well now is the chance!" Without warning, Mark reached out and forcefully grabbed me by my wrist.
I tried to pull back, but his strength overpowered mine, and soon I was being dragged across the field against my own will.
