Chapter 24:- Hunting Zombies in Night [I]

[Ding! The host has used [150+] of mana to speed up the healing process of undead Shadow.]

[Ding! The host's first undead Shadow has been fully healed. The host now can summon your first summon.]

"Was it really necessary to exhaust almost all of your mana to heal Shadow?" At this moment, Aditya's entire face was pale. It was as if the blood from his face has been squeezed out turning his face skin whiter.

After finding that Aditya can speed up the healing process of his undeads, the first thing he did was to heal his Shadow. Due to Goddess Selene's blessing, Aditya's stats increased by 100% during nighttime. Meaning that his mana which was [84+} had now become [168+].

"It was worth it. During the nighttime, I can recover my mana even faster." The main reason why Aditya did not hesitate to use almost all of his mana is because of Vulture and Tank. Both of his high leveled undeads can provide him and Freya with safety. Also during nighttime Aditya recovered his mana way faster so he felt it would be better to heal Shadow when he can recover his mana quickly.

"I want to make Shadow level up as well." Among three of his undeads, Shadow was the weakest. Shadow was even weaker than Aditya which is why he felt that he has to focus on leveling up his undead. Besides with Vulture and Tank's help, this task would become much faster.

"Speaking of leveling up....Do you want me to bless both of your undeads?" Freya asked while looking at Shadow and Vulture.

"That would be great." In fact, Aditya was slightly stressed about how he is going to convince Freya and Selene to bless his other two undeads. But Freya was taking the initiative to bless his undeads. Aditya thought that she would never agree to bless an undead.

All of sudden, Freya's body started glowing once again. This time, the glow was so strong that a small part of this big city was lit up by the white light coming from her body.

Breathing out the cold yet slightly warm air from his mouth, Aditya smiled feeling the increase in his powers. Without Aditya realizing it, just when Freya blessed him, his appearance, especially his face had changed a lot. Right now the current Aditya had become much more handsome than before.

His face was many times more handsome than those models or those male Hollywood actors. The current Aditya was just like the man that every girl before the apocalypse desired. He was tall and otherworldly handsome. What more a girl needed? But Aditya had no idea or knowledge of this change. Freya decided to keep this change a secret. Even though she was inwardly surprised by how handsome Aditya looked after getting her blessing. Freya wanted Aditya to find out about these changes by himself.

"Freya, from the mythology that has been passed down, it was said that you can see the future and even alter future events. Is that true?" The first thing that Aditya asked after getting her blessing was a question that was completely out of the box.

However, Freya quickly recovered from her surprised look. "Though I can see the future to a certain extent, I can never change future events. The future has an infinite number of alternate branches. For example, I might see a future where you're the Dragon Monarch ruling the biggest Empire in the whole world."

Freya put her hands behind her back and walked beside Aditya in the rain while looking up. "The future is never certain. The future is decided by the choices that we're going to make today which is our present. For example, if today I had not found you and Selene, you guys wouldn't have been aware of the abnormality of zombies. In the end, there is a high possibility that you all died from being unexpectedly attacked by high-level zombies."

"So you're saying that even if you can see the future, it does not have any meaning?" Aditya asked with his three undeads walking behind.

"Not necessarily true. There are some events that are fixed or bound to happen. For example, the arrival of mana. Even if all the goddesses and Gods had combined their powers, they cannot stop the mana from coming to earth."

"The chances of these fixed events happening is more than 99.1%. The only way you can prevent these fixed events from happening is by becoming so powerful that you can prevent the necessary triggers which might start this event."

"So there are alternative timelines where I am dead."

"Yes, the number of alternative timelines that exist is counted in infinite. Right now my power to see the future is sealed. I cannot use it till I reach 7-tier which probably will take decades if not centuries or maybe even more."

While Aditya and Freya were talking about her power to see the future, they did not notice the horde of zombies that were approaching their direction. It was only when the horde of zombies reached near Aditya and Freya that they noticed their presence.

"Freya, do you have any idea on how many zombies we are going to face?" In face of a such big horde of zombies, Aditya was not the least bit afraid. At least not now when he had two powerful and destructive level 24 and level 29 undeads.

"There are at least more than 50,000 zombies. I think this big horde of zombies is being controlled by a high leveled zombie." Freya looked a little worried. Even if she uses crowd-controlling powers, facing this many zombies will be too much even for her.

"Go." With Aditya's order, all three of his undeads took the charge. The vulture used extreme speed while flying off to the sky. The former mutant bird was going to attack from the sky. While Tank punched its chest several times before making a big jump which easily let it jump 70 meters above the ground.

Compared to Tank and Vulture, Aditya's shadow had the lowest level and looked the lamest. But as Aditya's first undead, the undead had a sword of its own.

Boom!

Just as the earth slightly shook from the Tank landing from 70 meters height. Aditya started receiving Experience points.

Knowing that Freya was perfectly capable of taking care of herself, Aditya also joined the battle. At this moment the whole roads were covered with more than 50,000 zombies. Only 5 beings were fighting these a number of 50,000. If it was before the apocalypse and someone had told the world that a single human can kill 50,000 zombies in a single fight, people would think of that human's words as nothing but a joke.

But now the whole world had changed. The era of humanity is over. Mana was everything in this world.

After receiving a [15+] boost in his speed, Aditya's current agility reached [130+]. Right now the current Aditya was faster than his undeads. Maybe except the vulture when it used its extreme speed.

Grabbing the black sword horizontally, Aditya run through the crowd of zombies while also avoiding being scratched or being bitten by any zombies. As he run through the horde of zombies, behind him, one by one, the bodies of the dead body started falling on the street. Since most Zombies were either level 1 or level 2, Aditya was literal God to them.

[Ding! You have killed a hundred level 1 zombie.[

[Ding! You have killed fifty level 1 zombie.]

Using shadow manipulation to cover his entire body so that the zombie virus would not harm him, Aditya was simply a ghost that randomly appeared in different parts of the battlefield. Aditya's killing speed was so fast that he alone was killing hundreds of zombies per two minutes.
