When Horado reached the gate he saw the man called R patiently waiting beside it.

"Yo, Big Bro R" Horado said which made R look to his direction.

"Horado be honest with me, what is the content of the device on your back" R said in a serious manner while placing both of his hands on Horado's shoulders.

"Sure but promise me that you won't overreact or steal the contents" Horado said even though a measly promise shouldn't be enough.

"Of course, How can I steal things from someone younger than me!" R proudly declared which made Horado smile.

"I believe you, well I wasn't really lying earlier in a way since she is still unconscious and there isn't showing much brain activity at the moment" Horado said as he showed R Aisha's face.

"Hmm... I see, so what's your relationship with her?" R was incredibly surprised but at the same time he couldn't help himself and asked.

"I'm her bodyguard and twin brother in a way?" Horado wasn't exactly sure himself.

R nodded while giving a cheeky smile to Horado which made the poor teen blush, this of course confused the AI and even thought that Horado was gay until he saw a certain string of memories of a boy like R as well as the resemblance he has to the one in Horado's memories.

Master had a extremely close relationship with a boy similar to R] The AI thought as it dispelled any misinterpretation it had much more important things to do than worry about it's master's sexuality, after a while it also remembered how Horado acted when he was practically hugging Aisha naked.

Horado and R started talking about the current situation of the apocalypse which he summarized into some important points.

1. Pretty much all animals and even some humans, though said humans have lost all rationality yet retains their knowledge thus making them extremely annoying, have evolved due to a certain virus.

2. The creatures that evolved due to said virus can be temporarily stopped if the brain is damaged but after some time it will start to move again depending to the extent of said damage. Note: using normal weapons or modern weapons used for warfare are pretty much ineffective.

3. The creatures that evolved during the apocalypse can be fully killed if the weapon used is made from a certain organic metal which made Horado remember a certain franchise called GE which almost has the same theme.(Acronym but I ain't saying what it means)

5. Settlements are extremely hard to come by so most people venturing outside said settlement create maps to sell to the Exchange Center which most used to be government offices thus making them have a private hotline but said hotline can't be traced.

6. Most technology of old cannot be used since practically no one understands them except for Horado since he was one of the main developers of said tech.

7. There are no laws outside the settlements so you should always watch your back.

8. Sometimes an evolved animal isn't exactly aggressive and some are even quite friendly while also being a better companion.

[ATTENTION ALL GARRISON SOLDIERS AN EXTREMELY HUGE WAVE OF MONSTERS THAT IS ENOUGH TO COVER THE HORIZON ARE CURRENTLY APPROACHING THE SETTLEMENT, I REPEAT A MONSTER WAVE IS APPROACHING THE SETTLEMENT!]

Horado looked at R with a confused expression only to see R sweating bullets along with his entire body shaking, the last monster wave nearly costed them all of the Garrison troops.

Horado looked calmly at the incoming horde yet at the same time a trace of fear and excitement can also be seen as his entire body started to emit steam as if he was being boiled due to this he ended up putting down Aisha's culture vat that housed her along with the slightly annoying AI.

"Big Brother R I trust you to protect her for me" Horado said and didn't even wait for R's reply as he had already started walking towards the horde of monsters that resembles a tsunami due to the size alone that is enough to cover the horizon from his position, of course he is afraid to the point that he felt that every single cell of his body is telling him to run away but he refused to obey as he had enough of losing people he knows despite not having much of his previous memories he still retained the emotions he once experienced and felt.

Horado then sprinted towards the horde with a sharp glint in his eyes then started shooting magma bullets left and right at every monster he sees, though not all of them hit their mark it still landed on the monsters close to the target or behind it since the monsters are just that tightly packed.

Although Horado had kept shooting down all kinds of monsters one after another it was could only be considered a drop of water in a relatively big lake. As if on cue a monster resembling a more specialized giant mole came out of the ground and attacked Horado using its claws while Horado was barely able to avoid being hit by the mole.

Horado plunged his blade with a heated up edge and cut right through the mole or that was what he wanted to happen, although his sword indeed went through the mole it wasn't that easy due to the tough fur, muscles, and skeleton of the mole yet what did he expect? the mole is specialized to bury deep within the earth thus if it didn't have a strong body it would have been easily crushed by the pressure.
