Saved

Horado felt tired yet he continued to swing his sword, shouldering the lives of people he doesn't even know and might even regret saving in the future. He didn't like to entertain the thought of what other guy starved of the opposite gender do to his one and only living companion, though the term living is a rather inappropriate word to describe her current state which made him smile a little then shot a weird bear creature through its mouth.

"Horado Retreat!!! you've brought the defenders enough time to prepare and organize!!" R shouted to the best of his capabilities yet it fell to deaf ears as Horado's senses have become rather numb, his body only kept running solely through adrenaline and only responding to major threatening situation yet even that is questionable now.

R looked at the culture vat Horado always carried only to see it blare up to life as plenty of bubbles came out of the oxygen mask Aisha was wearing much to R's horror.

"Horado get back here, Aisha's in danger!!!!" R shouted as he grabbed a nearby assault rifle that have advanced too far to be even recognized or compared to a model of old.

R started shooting down the mutated creatures like a madman, empty magazines and cartridges kept falling like water as R continued his charge, one could even argue that he looked like a ravage beast yet none had the gutts to say it.

Horado finally snapped from his berserker state when he noticed that the mutated around him didn't solely focused on him, he closed his eyes then extended his senses through the earth to see what was happening and much to his horror R was fighting hand to hand combat which was practically a death sentence and it was evident by how some of the flesh on his arms are dangling along with huge claw marks around his body and even some puncture wounds which still housed the quills that pierced them.

Horado then used the earth around R and superheated them to the point that they made the mutants run away in fear yet it didn't end there as a giant hand made out of magma fell on them like a tsunami, this caused Horado his hand and even some lost blood yet it was worth it for him.

"R!! what are you doing here?!! I thought I told you to watch over Aisha!" Horado asked as he carried R on his back and start running back towards the shelter.

"Haaa... I think... I'm growing old... for this stuff... bubbles... Aisha..." R desperately tried to say as his conciousness eventually fell to darkness which only made Horado run faster to the point that he was unconsciously using his earth manipulation to give him a massive push and catch his feet so he can continue at that pace without consuming much stamina.

Once Horado arrived however he saw the glass of the culture vat be filled with bubbles to the point that Aisha was hard to be seen without looking at it extremely carefully. Then he heard a click then a sound of water being flushed much to his horror but that all disappeared when Aisha opened her eyes yet it looked somewhat lifeless and different from what he remembered.

The culture vat opened to reveal her while Horado immidiately covered her in a towel he uses when he is taking a bath from the storage due to his panic, she crouched down to where Horado accidentally dropped R to seemibgly inspect him then her hands emitted a light blue glow, much to Horado's surprise the wounds on R started to heal.

Aisha then looked at him straight in the eyes then took off the towel then go back to the culture vat which begun to be filled with a strange liquid once again as Aisha strapped the oxygen mask on herself.

"Okay... so that happened" Horado could only say as he didn't know what to make out of it.

[Aisha forced herself to wake up and heal R's wounds but that will make her need to develop longer] The AI announced much to Horado's displeasure evident from his sigh.

[If you don't like it then give her some of your essence since your made up of the same stuff] The AI blatantly said making Horado blush in embarassment which confused the AI since it only meant to give some of the energy he uses to manipulate and create earth and fire even if he mostly uses magma as a means of attack. Meanwhile Aisha who heard that visibly blushed and trembled a little.

"I didn't know that A.I.s these days are perverted, though they only say things that are most efficient" R couldn't help but say as he placed a hand on Horado's shoulder then gave him a thumbs up. Horado was conflicted whether he should ignore R or beat him up with only a single breath left but that would be insulting Aisha's good will so he decided to reign himself in.

"R, believe it or not but I can totally destroy the shelter with just one motion so please spare me the jokes when it concerns Aisha" Horado said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes making R gulp and hurriedly nod in response since he didn't want to be responsible for the destruction of a shelter much less due to him going out of line with his jokes.
