Celebration

Once the two arrived in the shelter everyone welcomed them with open arms and even splurged since in the end the monster wave which threatened the entire shelter's very foundation was easily avoided by one teen at first then the town hero and lastly them joining in as well.

"I am so~ leavi-" Horado was about to say but he was dragged by some teenage girls with heart shaped irises, no that is not normal, while also making as much skin to skin contact with Horado and even making their assets touch him. Horado felt his body get hotter but it was easily countered by Aisha who is on his back cooling down his body with ice, he can even swear that he could feel her glare even if she is only semi-concious. Horado could only dryly laugh at his current predicament and then did the ultimate move of every protagonist with girl related problems. He straight up escaped towards the largest building, which is also the exchange center.

"*sigh* They looked at me as if I was a country bumpkin or a useless young master which would easily die during this era at first but now they look at as if I am the greatest commodity?! that just ain't right!" Horado couldn't help but voice out his complaint.

"If it isn't this shelter's hero, what can I do for you during this fine day? afterall we are the only ones here for some inexplicable reason" the receptionist girl said with a smile, but it only made Horado feel a chill go down his spine, and no, it wasn't because of Aisha. He then started pretending to look around, then even went ahead and grabbed a map.

"What can I exchange for this?" Horado asked the receptionist, playing it cool for the meantime so that it wouldn't alert her.

"Oh my, I can't let you pay for that, can I? afterall if I did, my business will be thrown into the apocalypse if I made the shelter's hero pay for a simple map" The receptionist gently said with a smile as her fingers traced around the bottom of the desk while Horado placed the map inside of the storage box without breaking eye contact with the receptionist.

"Thanks!!!" Horado directly ran out of the exchange center while also using his own power unconsciously to soften the ground or make some tiny adjustments so that his pursuers might trip on. That just goes to show how in danger he was.

"R, save me!!" Horado shouted as he ran back towards where R is cause he would rather get drunk than be wrung dry.

"Whoa! Slow down, you're the shelter's hero, nobody here would be stupid enough to do anything against you" R said as he caught Horado from his little mad dash.

"They might not do something against me that can be classified as bad, but they can still do something extremely good to the point that I might die!" Horado countered, then he felt his pursuers coming, making him shiver, and then he saw a hole in the ground enough to fit him and Aisha.

Horado didn't hesitate and jumped straight inside of it while blocking the hole with a massive bolder which he firmly welded with the earth and even went as far as making tons of it as hard as bedrock found in the deepest part of the planet's crust.

"Thank you!" Horado thanked his saviors, which are the pseudo dragons he traded stuff with earlier in his journey. To Horado, they saved his life, but for the pseudo dragons, they just wanted to see what the commotion was about earlier, although due to it, they were able to eat to their hearts content

After escaping, he decided to travel once again. His destination is unknown, and quite frankly, it would be better that way since he will get to know or at least find some clues as to what really happened in this world.

It's been ten weeks after he started his journey, yet his storage of food is still just as plenty. In fact, it even grew in size to the point that he is now having storage problems.

"Is there any way to improve your storage capacity?" Horado asked the AI on his back, who has been speechless all this time cause it since no matter how strong someone is, they will inevitably have a problem procuring food in the apocalypse yet the one who is using it managed to flip that thinking upside down.

[I am only supposed to be a culture vat AI in the first place. In fact, my storage space is enough to make anyone's mouth to water in jealousy and greed, yet you're not satisfied?! the only ones that have a higher space than me are those for planes and rockets]
