Please sir ....l beg you

" Please sir , I beg you I need to see the commander " said the crying young lady who was begging the gaurd

first commander Andrew was walking to his room when he saw that young lady

The scene before him took his mind to a flash back of the memory of the same moment that changed his life

It was when he was still young and neive and He was with the general for the his last training period before being able to handle a Barrack by himself .

He and two other of his friends in the general tent When they heard a commtion outside the general tent

" What is that noise out side ? " said the general

" I will go find out , sir " said young Andrew and with that he went to see what's wrong

"Please. , I need to see the general ...I beg you...please "

Outside the tent he looked around to see what's happening , after a moment or two he found a young lady maybe 16 or 17 looking distress , she was begging the solider to see the commander , she was accompanied a little boy who was hiding behind her leg scared .

He couldn't make out the feature but thier clothes were dirty and torn out so He assumed that they are some poor people in just need of money or something so he approached Them to know what he can do to help them

As he approached their features became clearer with every step , he could see that tear stain on the girl's face and that her blond hair was messy and full of mud , The little boy was looking everywhere as if he was running from someone or something , His little eyes continued to search the place around him till his eyes fall on something and it imiditelly brightened , the young commander didn't notice because his eyes were focused on the girl's distressed face as he approached , they weren't so far from the general tent and it took him couple of steps but everything seems to be slow motion

The moment he reach them and was standing in front of the young lady , the little boy took off running toward something he didn't know which made him think that the boy was scared of him

The girl didn't notice that the boy ran because she was occupied with begging the soldier

" You have to understand ....it's really ergent "

" What's going on , here ? " Said the commander before the soldier could say the same thing he said more than he could count " the general is busy , he can't be intrupted to solve a civilian problem , I'm sorry "

" Sir , She want to see the General , but I kept telling her It's not allowed , sir" answering the solider

" Why do you want to see the general ? "

Asked Andrew

" I and my brother ....l ..." She stoped mid sentence terrified when she didn't find him , "lan ..Lan .. where did you go ... where is my brother.. where is my brother " said the girl and she started to panic

"Calm down , we will find him , don't worry" Andrew said to her

" Search for the little boy " he said to the soilders then turned to walk and search for the boy himself for the sake of his sister that looked like her life depend on him , when he was about to start walking , he saw the boy running toward the a group of soldiers sitting around the camp fire

" I found him come on " he said trying to assure her

As they were at hearing distance the boy stopped in front someone whose back is turning to them same as the little boy

" Jerry.... Jerry " the boy shouted as he jumped on the man's back who looked to familiar to Andrew

" Lan ???.....what are you doing here Landany ? "

" Andrew .... are you alright ? " said Tomas bringing him back to the present

" Huh ? ... Yeah , I fine " He answered after a moment that he took to focus on the question

" Are you sure ? " Said Tomas laughing

" Don't worry , I was just lost in my mind " answered Andrew while he started walking towards the lady

" What is the matter ?" Said Andrew startling both the lady and the soldier

"Sir , the lady here wants to see you sir , and I kept telling her that you are not in your room but she didn't believe me , sir " answered the soldier that was responsible for his room safety not that the commander needed but Venus insisted and he qoute " you are suppose to keep me safe , how are you going to do that if you are injured or killed during your sleep ....I can't sleep knowing that you are not safe , your the last family I'm allowed to have ... So I'm not losing you end of discussion" every time he remembered this conversation he laughs to himself and his heart warms to her words .

" Sir , please you have to help me please " this thoughts were cut by the lady's voice

' I zoned out Alot today ' he thought before speaking

" How can I help you , miss ? " He said with a smile to try his best to comfort her

" My dad his really sick and the doctor didn't answer our calls because we are really poor and can't afford his payment ....I will do anything I swore but please help us " her voice cracked at the last sentence making him feel that It's his duty to help them

"Where is your father now , miss ? " said the commander

" He is at our house in the village across the river , sir " said the young lady

' the nearest village across the river is a day walking from here through the forest which is full of wild animal ' he thought to himself

" How did you get here , young miss " he asked curious

" I walked , sir" she said as if it's a normal thing , he frowned ' alone.. she walked through the forest for a hole day alone ' he thought

" sir , I don't mean to be rude but are you going to help me ? , Sir " she said shyly

He turned to his room guard " prepare my horse and prepare a horse for the young lady " he said leaving , his words made the girl head snaps to his direction and her eyes widen

" Sir , I can walk no need to tire any of your horses , sir "

" Of course not , you won't walk " he said , there was a pause before he spoke again

" Bring the young lady something to eat and bring her something cold to drink it's really hot " said the first ranked commander
