17.(NEW STRENGTH)

ROSE

My head ached,as I tried to sit straight, beside pain I felt a strange sensation surpassing pain in body, energy was flowing through me.

Maybe they gave me some boost drugs, I felt powerful enough to break anything. I looked both sides over my shoulder and found Aiden with many drips inserted with Canola on his both arms, he was still asleep or under medication God knows.

My mind was continuously giving me bad vibes about what was going to happen next, my hands were tied to the sides of the bed, they had brought more beds in the room, more equipment and medicinal stuff.

I tried to pull the cuffs around my hands and they didn't open. After the third try I heard a click and both cuffs were on the edge of opening. I celebrated my victory until I heard footsteps reaching the door. I laid back to my old position and closed my eyes.

Someone came inside and stopped near my bed, touched my forehead and said something in foreign language.

"Miss Rose, open your eyes as I can see you are breathing much faster than a sleeping person and your heartbeat is higher than normal" finally she said something in English.

I opened my eyes without being stubborn and looked at her while having intentions to kill her any second.

Such an innocent face with wicked eyes, disgusting. I rolled my eyes and she caught me.

"Is there something wrong with my face?" she asked.

"Well I would say your whole face is disgusting plus your eyes, huh feels like they are going to pop out any second" I spat in annoyance.

"Well you got some nerves to say something when you can't do anything other than using your tongue" she laughed.

"Oh I see!!!" I taunted.

"Why don't I just start with taking your blood sample once again while you're awake, we already took enough when you were under medication" she spat.

"How dare you witch?" I screamed.

"Well as for right now I'm the only one to dare" she laughed.

"You had an early shift, if I'm not wrong?" She asked while reading something on her paper board.

"Why should I even tell you anything, just kill me already" I rolled my eyes.

How does she know that, are they that advanced to find out everything about us, filthy humans.

"Well I guess then I'm right, it rarely happens, and you survived, you might have died if you didn't have strong bloodline" she continued.

"What did you just say?" My eyes went wide with shock.

"Yeah believe it or not you'll find out one day, or I guess your parents weren't brave enough to tell you the reason, why you survived" she closed the door.

What a bitch she is, trying to implement things how they aren't, I should just rip her hair from her head, God please get us all out of here, who cares she wants to scare me, I shouldn't think about any of this right now, I shrugged negative thoughts away.

I heard whining which broke my thoughts, Aiden was awake. He was trying to open his eyes and they kept closing. He tilted his head towards me and tried to speak, but there was no sound except for lip movement.

"Hey, shush don't try to speak, your throat is dry I guess, it might take a few minutes to speak properly, and they can hear us remember" I whispered.

"I heard what she said to you..." he coughed.

"Forget about that we shouldn't believe anything they say, she wants us to get scared and be obedient towards her" I whispered and showed him my uncuffed hands.

"How?" His eyes went wide.

"We are getting out of here I guess then, can you sit or much more than that...can you run" I smirked and opened the cuffs with needles after slowly pulling out all the Canola in his arms.

He stood up and nearly lost his balance abut took hold of the wall, I looked at him with concern.

"I'm fine no worries, they might have seen us doing it also, let's see what's outside that door other than those hostage werewolves, stay behind me" he said and opened the door...

AIDEN

As we opened the door we felt tension around, they were moving everyone and all the equipment were getting packed in boxes or getting transferred into Black vans. 

"You're right Aiden, they might have seen us escaping through the surveillance" Rose whispered.

"Wait a sec, why are you holding that door knob?" I felt amazed, when did she manage to break the door knob and took that with her.

" It might come handy, let's go, they are gone" she pointed toward the glass door.

We both hurried out of the hallway. They had already moved everyone, and the place was cleaned up. No traces of blood or equipment and it all looked empty without any evidence to find.

"Someone is keeping tail on us doc, we need to hurry before they reach, they are not humans and can be related to any of the supernatural creatures we have captured so far" a guard shouted.

"Where are Aiden and Rose, how the hell were they able to escape, weren't they sedated, find them before they leave the facility" A doctor shouted.

"That might be dad and Nick with their friends, we need to hurry" Rose said and her eyes were sparkling with hope.

We both ran as fast as we could until we reached the end, we hid behind a van and I waited till everyone went inside to find us, we ran outside, that was the only golden opportunity we had left, we ran straight into the forest ahead, all of the sudden I heard my sister tripp behind, she had injured her feet, I put her on my back and keep running, I could hear the guards following us, I was out of energy and my wolf was tired.

"We have to stop for a while," I whispered.

"What if they find us till then?" Rose asked.

"Let me see your feet" I checked carefully. It was healed already, so they did something to her, it wasn't possible to heal that faster when she hadn't had her first shift.

"Wow it's healed, how is this possible?" Rose asked.

"Those doctors made it possible, hurry up we need to climb that tree before they reach us" I pulled her up.

I climbed after her and we stayed there for an hour. The guards came but thankfully they didn't check up on the trees, I was about to fall down any second, my legs were giving up.

"Aiden, did u hear that noise, it came again from there, I think it's them, they got out too"  she pointed at the tree next to us.

I stared at the tree, couldn't find anything, even with my night vision, again someone whistled. That might be Iris, Bennett, Bryce, or Connor.

"Who's there?" I whispered.

"Stay there until I give a signal again" a whisper came.

"That's Iris, I'm sure they are hiding on that tree" Rose confirmed.

Suddenly someone jumped on the ground, it was Ben, he made a hiss sound and others jumped down too.

"Get down kids we'll leave now!" Ben whispered.

We both jumped down and reached them, they looked surprised that we got out according to the plan we made earlier right before they separated me and my sister from them.

"Girls in center and boys at back and front, let's go before the search party comes again" Ben gave the instructions.

We all started running after him, my feet started to hurt. We have been running for a long time but couldn't stop or they'll catch us again.

"I heard something, wait guys!" Iris shouted.

We halted, we heard hissing sounds from several directions, we circled around Iris and Rose to protect.

"Ben, don't tell me that you can't sense the blood suckers" Bryce shouted.

"Damn it, not now, what will we do now?" Connor asked me.

"You got a plan to deal with this bro." I asked Bennett.

"What are blood suckers, you mean vamps… vampires… are they real?" As expected, Rose asked me.

"Yeah they are, I guess dad was hiding a lot of things from you other than our true identity" I replied in disbelief.

The hissing continued, it felt like there were too many vampires hiding in trees, they must've smelled blood when Rose got hurt.

"Stay together" Ben said and we all stuck our backs to each other.

We started hearing whistles of guards searching for us, the whistles kept getting closer with dog barks.

"We are surrounded, either we get caught or we escape we'll do it together, on my count start running" Bryce instructed.

"Now" we all started running in the opposite direction from where the guards were coming.

I held my sister's hand tightly, so she wouldn't be left behind. After a few minutes we felt someone running with us, the vampires caught us.

"Don't stop, keep running," Ben shouted.

The whistles were getting lower minute by minute. Suddenly Ben and Connor halted, I nearly hit my head on Connor's back. We were outnumbered, the vampires were standing in our way. 

"We need to fight them off, go for their neck or heart" Ben instructed.

We killed few, except Bennett who killed more than 20, he was surely unlike us all, pure leader personality strong and filled with rage to remove any hurdle in his way.

Rose was about to pass out any second, her face was white with fear, obviously she must not have seen this much fight and blood at once. The vampires retreated thankfully when they got a blow from us all.

"Let's go without wasting a second, we are about to cross borderline, Rose you hop over my back, your brother is tired" Connor said and she walked like turtle towards him.

We all started running again, we were about to cross the borderline, thankfully we were saved at last after 3 months of torture.

A foot away from the borderline I heard dozens of shots from the opposite direction, and I heard a scream followed by two more, me and Connor halted, Iris was shot by a silver bullet, she was severely bleeding from the abdomen and her shirt was red.

"Don't stop, keep going, save yourselves, take Rose out of here, it's the only chance" Iris shouted.

Ben and Bryce were already with her,they held her up, but we were too late to run anywhere,the laser lights of guns were pointed at our heads,as it was near sunset.We all sat on the ground,Rose crawled towards Iris who was slowly losing consciousness. They tried to pull her away from Iris, but she stuck to her like glue.After struggling for eight to ten minutes they pulled her away from Iris. Suddenly I heard a noise. It was a fierce growl, I didn't believe my ears, that was Rose's she was growling at guard. Damn it, what have they done to my sister.I'll kill them all, she's not even eighteen, she already got her claws and canniness.She pushed a guard and he went flying towards bushes,they shot tranq darts, but she dogged them easily,their guns were about to get empty when one tranq dart hit her shoulder and she slowed still managed to hit three more guards.Then she passed out,we all growled with rage and charged towards them,more tranq darts were shot towards us, they were too much to dodge and we all got hit by them.I was shot in the back and I started to lose consciousness.

I woke up with sharp pain in my head, my hands and feet were cuffed with bed rods.

"Aiden… Bryce, are you okay ?" Bennett asked.

I turned my head to the right side, Bennett was there and Iris, she was sleeping, her face was pale. On my left side Rose and Connor were sleeping.

"Yeah, a little bit of pain in my head" I replied in a hoarse voice.

"The plan didn't work, because of those blood suckers" Ben growled under his breath.

"Yeah, but we will try again, until we get out of here" I reminded him again.

"You're right, who knows till then someone will find us, I don't know why they are taking so long to track us all" Ben said.

"Ben…" Iris was awake.

"Thank God you're awake, they took out the bullet, the wound is already healed". Bennett told Iris.

"Why are these both not awake yet?" She pointed towards Rose and Connor.

"They'll be, they had been shot with more than three tranquilizers, it'll take time" he replied.

"They have done something to her, she's changed, her wounds healed faster than all of us" I told both of them.

"We can't be so sure until or unless it's confirmed" Iris tried to lower my worry.

"Brother…" I heard a whisper.

"You're awake, thank God" I relaxed when Rose called me.

"What happened to me?" Rose asked.

"Do you know better than any of us?" Bennett chuckled.

She was quiet, trying to analyze the situation thoroughly, she's changed, her reflexes and movements are swift. All of the sudden she started staring at me, that stare looked weird and confused.

"Aiden, what happened?" She asked.

"You were shot with four tranquilizers, you passed out." I told her.

"Woah, we are stuck here again." she sighed.

The door burst open all of the sudden, guards sprinted towards Connor, they opened his chains and dragged him out the room while locking the door...
