Taking more than a step closer.

I arrived early to the office just as he told me last night though I wasn't sure why he asked me to do so. But I don't really want to be on bad terms with him. I was quite surprised that he hadn't arrived by the time I got to the office.

"And he asked me to come early" I mumbled and stared at his office from mine. How come his office looks so beautiful?

I walked out of my office since he isn't around, I should use this opportunity to take a look at his office.

I opened the door quietly and smiled at the beauty of his office.

He couldn't even see how beautiful it was. That reminds me when we visit Mr Quin's company

"If only you could see it, it'.... " Mr Quin was about to say it but his reply amazed me.

"I can feel its beauty," He replied.

Can someone be this amazing? And what amazed me the most is that he is blind and still he can do amazing things which are amazing.

I look at the work of art placed at the wall, the Butterfly on the Rose flowers. Damn! Beautiful.

I froze on where I stood as soon as I heard his voice.

"Miss Skylar? " He called more like a question.

I'm doomed! How did he enter without any notice?How did he even know I'm the one in here?

I turned around and gulped down, he looked more cute than I can ever remember.

"Miss Skylar, I know you are in here, what are you doing in my office? " He asked again and I opened my mouth to atleast to give him an excuse.

"Si.. Sir, I'm sorry I… I just…just want to take a look" I shuttered and he gave me this void expression immediately I said that I don't know what to say anymore.

"You want to take a look?" He asked and I cleared my throat.

"Ye.. Yes sir" I mumbled and he nodded.

Is he angry? Oh Goodness! Is he going to fire me? I can't read his expression.

"So tell me how the office looks? It would have been so great if I could see it. '' He said and I scoffed in surprise, he is not angry? He wants me to tell him how it looks?

"Well, It …it looks beautiful, and the work of art is…is..great" I said and his brows raised.

"Which work of art is that? I don't really know since It's Ben that took care of it" He mumbled and moved closer with his white cane while I moved a little bit to the back.

"Can you help? " He asked as he got to where I was standing, I looked up at his figure and gulped. So cute! I bet God took all His whole day to create him. But wait he doesn't know there is a work of art here and he is asking me to help?.

"Sure" I replied and slowly held his hand then placed it on the Portrait.

"Your hand is cold against mine" He mumbled as Soon as I held his hand, that is true. His hand is warm.

I smiled and rubbed his hand on the surface of the Portrait.

"The butterfly on the Rose flower with a Young lady by the Riverside" I told him and he smiled. Gosh! His smile just melted my heart.

"It's definitely beautiful, I can feel the beauty" He said and I chuckled.

"But sir, how can you feel the beauty? You said that when we visited Mr Quin also" I said and he chuckled.

"Since I can't see, all I can do is to feel" He replied and I smiled looking at him.

"You are amazing sir" I mumbled to his hearing and he stopped rubbing but my hands were still on his.

"You think so? " He asked and I scoffed.

"I didn't think so sir, I know so, You are really amazing" I said with a smile and he chuckled.

"Not everyone will tell me that. '' He shrugged and I chuckled.

"Of course, they won't tell you directly but trust me, they say it at your back," I said aloud and he chuckled.

"You just make my morning beautiful" He said and I chuckled. I think I'm going somewhere with this interaction.

"Sir you are still holding my hand" I had to remind him because he isn't ready to let go

"I like the way your hands feel against mine" He mumbled and I smiled.

I somehow love it too.

"Sir… I've account… … " Evelyn entered but stopped on seeing us together, I quickly removed my hands while she adjusted her glasses with shocked expression.

"I will get your coffee sir" I said and walked past Evelyn who still had this shocked look.

Damn!

I walked back into the Company after getting his usual coffee and bumped into Evelyn on her way out of Mr Vincent's office.

"Hey, " She smirked at me and I chuckled.

"Let's talk later," She whispered before walking away.

"Silly girl" I mumbled as I opened the door,

"Sir here your coffee" I said and placed it in his hands.

"Thanks" He replied, this is the first time I'm hearing him say thank you and it makes me smile.

"Here is the file for Mr Quin, You should proofread it and Make possible corrections" He said and handed it over to me.

"Okay sir, What about Mr Ben? " I asked since I haven't seen him this morning.

"He isn't coming today" He replied and I nodded.

"By the way, You will be going out with me after you are done" He said as I was about walking out and I looked at him in surprise.

"O.. Okay sir" I replied and he nodded.

I walked out of his office and breathed out,

I will be going out with him, where are we going?

I was Ruminating about where he is probably taking me since we did not have any meeting today until Evelyn pulled by arm and dragged me away.
