His body tensed even though he is too weak to take a look at the paper, I knew this was the perfect time.

My eyes flicking in joy as he signed it, he signed it! His son is betrothed to my daughter! Just as he signed it, his hands started shaking and he coughed out heavy blood, the nurses rushed in immediately they become alerted.

I watched the nurse attended to him, a smile creeped on my lips as I finally got what I wanted.

It had been quite a long time but I can still find my ways here. Getting to some places that I've been before with my parents sadden my hearts each time that they are not here anymore.

I'm strong so I didn't let the memories weigh me down, the goal is to get a decent job so I will be able to take care of Annie, I will enroll her into a new college.

I was walking down the street checking out some restaurants and hotel and some various places for vacancy but I got none until I suddenly bumped into a woman and a little child,might be around 5 years old, the kiddo giggled immediately I bumped into them, she pulled her hand away from her mother and started running away.

Her mother's eyes widened instantly, same goes as mine. What the heck?

"Rhoda!! " She screamed the kid's name running after her, I just couldn't stand still to so I had to help the woman with the child.

I walked up to the woman with her daughter in my hand breathing hard "oh Rhoda! " She rushed to me and took the girl from me. I wonder why the girl looks so stubborn.

"Thank you so much Miss, Thank you" She said and I smile "It's fine"

I bent to the little girl but she hide her face behind her mother "Next time,you do this again, you will get spank" I warned her frankly and It's so obvious she is scared and she hide behind her mother.

I chuckled standing upright and the woman smile, I was about walking away when she stopped me "Miss, Can you work as my daughter's Nanny? " She asked and I was kinda surprised "Nanny?" I asked and she job.

My eyes moves to the little girl, Why not? I've been looking for job since morning "Yes ma'am, I can" I replied her happily and that makes a smile to creeped on her face.

"Okay good, You can come to this address when you are ready" she gave me a small card of her home address "Thank you so much ma'am, thank you so much" I almost bowed and she smile before walking away.

I look at the small car in my hand and smile.

I got back home with the groceries i bought from the market, I dropped them in the kitchen. I haven't heard Annie's voice so I was thinking she is asleep already.

"Annie" I called arranging the stuff I bought in their places, No response from her so I leave what I'm doing and walked to our room but was stunned when I met the room empty.

"Annie? " I called out walking out of the room hastily, Where could she have been?

Fuck! I told her to stay at home and not go out.

I quickly rushed out of the house, I think I might know where she is, what the hell is she thinking???

I rang the bell the third time and the door opened revealing Ma'am Gina.

"Amelia" She smile and I hugged her.

"Ma'am" Pulling away from the hug, I look around, huhn? Brother isn't at home? But he is not at the office either.

"Is he not at home?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yeah, He left with Ben early this morning" She said and I scoffed.

"I went to his office but they weren't there either" I told him and she sighed Walking up to the couch and we both sat down "Well, I don't know what they are up to these days and the wedding is happening tomorrow"

What could he be up to? I heard how he appeared at the meeting conference yesterday because Mom got back home fuming and not happy and that is why I came to check on him.

Look like he is trying to stop the wedding from happening. I really wish he get to stop the wedding from happening.I don't want that bitch for him.

"Amelia, what are you thinking?" She asked and I sighed.

"I don't want Stella for brother, that lady is a bitch" I rolled my eyes and she nodded.

We got to John's place and Ben helped me inside.

"John I'm here now, what did you find about Dad's death? Is it perhaps linked to that Crazy woman?" I asked impatiently,

"Sir, keep calm and have your seat, I will tell you everything" He said and I scoffed, Ben helped me to a seat.

"Okay, Now I'm all ears, what did you find?" I asked and he clear his throat.

"I went to the Hospital where Mr. Lennon got admitted before he died but they couldn't give me something tangible so I found out there was CCTV camera in each ward and luckily, their CCTV is backdated and I saw it" He said and that when my curiousity arouse the more.

"What is you saw John? " Ben asked I guess he is also curious.

"How she manipulated Mr. Lennon to sign the Marriage contract, he was too weak that day so he didn't know which paper was it but she lied that it was about Klaus Company that they were threatening them to give up the Contract they were dragging or else they will destroy their company, Mr. Lennon fear that and that is why he signed it"

I went silent for a while unable to believe what he just said, I knew it, there is something and here it is.

I finally found something to use against that crazy woman.

"That fucking crazy woman" I mumbled fuming already, her daughter took after her wickedness too.

"So are we stopping the wedding from happening tomorrow? " Ben asked bit I shook my head.

"We will still proceed with the wedding"...
