Romance Among Humans

Note: this book was originally - Navigating Romance as a werewolf among humans. This is an untraditional werewolf story. Cover art is not my own. Please let me know if I need to take it down. "In order to survive the changing world, we must learn to live among humans or risk starving." it wasn't the ideal situation, but the only option to stop the pack and most importantly, their pups from suffering due to a lack of food. "Humans are weird though. How can you get used to being around them and their confusing nature?" Apryl asked, looking out across the campus. "You get used to it after some time, plus it's not like we're the only ones who live among the humans." Keith replied, shrugging as he looked over the campus as well. This story follows Apryl Dark, eldest daughter of the Dark Mountain wolf pack as she and her family adjust to living among humans and the trials that face them. The book may start out slow, but there will be a mix of both romance and action as the story progresses. Too Much

By the time that she had finished with Houston, Apryl knew that she had made a mistake by having the coffee or at least not asking what the shots he got her did.

The sweetness in the coffee was amazing but the caffeine hit her worse than the chocolate that Callum had given her to try. How was that even possible.

"I'm sorry, are you going to okay getting home?" The detective asked when he realized what kind of state the female werewolf was in. He was used to his high level of tolerance to the liquid energy that he didn't think to ask if the other needed something lighter.

"I think so. Last time it took a few hours to wear off when I was like this." She replied. She felt the energy flowing through her veins, but it was at such a high level it made her feel like the world was spinning around her again.

"Don't you have the same problem with it?" She asked as she watched Houston stand up with ease from the table. He laughed at her question.
