3. reckless abandon.

a small moonlight shone through the cafe we was in, the world was shook nonetheless because of this, everybody is running inside of the cafe building we are in, completely filling it to the brim with worried and angry people.

we didn't stay in the crowd for long as scream erupted from inside of the cafe, filling it with even more chaos as the sound of bones crushing can be heard beside me as I look in horror to yuki shaking body.

"sister?!!!! hey! hey!!!! "sami cried out to his sister which lay on the ground shaking, suddenly other people started to exhibit the same behavior as she, but one of them woke up sooner and bit somebody in the neck.

scream erupted once more as people trying to get out of to the street to find the same kind of people but worse... it's a goddamned zombie!

I quickly hoisted yuki shaking body as I ran upstairs to the rooftop to get my bearings right, sami followed as he grab an emergency axe from the stairway we were in.

"what is going on!??? is my sister alright!?? is she going to turn into a zombie????!!! "I quickly covered his mouth with my hand as her body stop shaking, I grab the axe in his hand and prepare for the worse.

nothing happened... I quickly took a closer look at her and notices she's deadly pale, unhealthily pale.

I checked her pulse just to find there's none... she's dead.

then her body start shaking some more, this time more violently as her body is shaking like that one machine dryer video on vidforte.

"sister?!!!!!!! " sami said as he ran toward his sister with reckless abandon, fortunately I managed to trip him as he falls to the ground crawling to his sister.

"sister?!!! wake up!!! " I grab his leg as he tried to crawl away, I slapped him in his swollen crying face.

SLAP! the deafening sound is heard throughout the building near us, as I grab his shirt "calm down. " I looked straight into his eyes as I said that.

"behind you!!! " sami said as I whipped my head behind, behind me is a man in his early twenties, huge swollen eyes, snot filled his mouth as it gaped open unnaturally, his hand are outstretched as it almost grabbed my shoulder.

I quickly kick him in the stomach as he groans and let out a low wailing moan, I quickly grabbed my axe as I beheaded him.

a disgusting cracking noise emanates from his half cut neck as the axe stuck on the neck, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 I thought as my body seems to become rusty from all that gaming.

like any person would when they find a particularly hard rock with a pickaxe attached to it, I moved my leg in such fashion that it would send the axe deeper into the neck making a whooshing noise as the head came off cleanly from the body into the stairs as it comes tumbling downstairs.

I grabbed the axe that stuck to the wall as I ripped a bit of cloth from the dead man... or should I say zombie? anyway I used it as a wipe to clean the blood off of the axe.

sami sat in the ground mouth gaping as he nervously said "you... you just killed him!!? " ah... I guess she doesn't tell him that... oh well you can hide the body but not the smell.

"oops? " I said, sami however wanted to retort and question me more but fortunately a small growling sound distracted him enough to not bother about it.

both of us looked at the direction the sound is coming from.

pale skin, disfigured jaw with sharp shark like teeth that covered the whole mouth, white pupils, black hair with the tip of it colored white and the sharpest and longest fucking claw you've ever seen in a human body... all of that is the description of a ghoul.

"you gotta be kidding me. " I said as she directly leapt at me.

I quickly leapt at her while she's in the air and bash her skull with the blunt edge of the axe, unfortunately with the agility of a ghoul she managed to whip her head out of the axe way.

unfortunately for her she forgot about my other weapon, my body.

with the leap from earlier I bodied her as she and I fall onto the floor, with me being on the top I managed to put all of my weight into her cushioning my fall as well as breaking some of her rib.

"don't kill her! " sami said as he quickly got in action to restrain bot her hand.

well... that changes my plan, what else is ghoul characteristics? oh yeah! they need to breathe! ghoul indeed can live underwater but that doesn't mean they can't breathe! well the older one can but the new one? especially right after transforming? it would make sense for her to not able to breathe.

I think choking her might be the best option for pacifist here, she's way too violent and I'll probably kill her when the time is right.

"sami! hold her hand! " I said as I got to work choking her, I used my feet since it's easier and the more hand the better you fight.

one... two... three... four... five, still awake... six... seven... eight, why is she so strong?!... nine... and one minute has passed and she finally passed away... her breath passed away... she can't breathe for the time being... dammit! what's the word again? oh yeah! incapacitated, she's incapacitated.

"is she alive?!! " sami asked(shouted) in concern as I shush his mouth down.

"stop screaming... I think I hear something. " I gripped the axe tightly as I went to the staircase, sami however does not follow suit as I ordered him not to.

it's not like he wanted to, anyway there seems to be zombie everywhere, is this a zombie apocalypse! well that means I- we will need food and water supply to hold out, maybe we could clear the cafe of any zombie and makes it our own? I always heard about how this cafe is always stocked even when the truck came late or when the whole cafe thing blew out of porpotion making people to build their own cafe establishment and in return fucking everything up in the process.

ahh, those poor stock market people, once rich gambled all their money to cafe as it crashed once the hype is over.

as I traveled down the stairs I could not help but notice that something is off, just stairs feels weird and not really amazing.

I quickly snap out of my shit as I look in front of me, zombies filling the staircase and slowly hobbled onto me.

my heart is filled with dread as I noticed that something is messing with my mind and of course it's a-

before I could think any further a push from behind.

I quickly stabilizes myself as the horde almost grabbed me by the arms, I quickly run back upstairs with reckless abandon.

it's a fucking ghost! fuck! just my luck, why is it always those fucker! an axe isn't gonna cut it at this point! I need something holy, well it's either a two barrel shotgun or a bat, those two weapon are the only thing that can hurt a ghost that I can get now.

as I ran upstairs, I quickly shut the door and locked it.

"what's going on Hank???!! "sami said as he look at my very much scared face.

"a ghost?!!!! "I almost screamed as I cover my mouth immediately after.

sami looked at me like I was insane " what ghosts? there's no ghost!? " he said with a laugh, fucker still joke about it.

"hahaha! are you still scared by that kind of stuff Hank? " shut up.

"h-hey! behind you! " I said as a ghost appeared behind sami as it very slowly put it's little grubby hand on his neck.

"what? there's nothing Hank? you good? "it's behind you! you fucking idiot!

the ghost laughs as it very slowly tightening it's grip.

"damn, I'm so tired, hey just keep watch on my sister alright? I'm gonna sleep for a while. "oh my god! come on! move your legs idiot! fucking move!

as I was about to run to the ghost, suddenly I hear a SHINK sound.
