Chapter seven

Oakley

I don't want to leave River but I have to. I can hear her scream just as I run out the door, "AFTER HER," Becca calls out. One of her goons runs after me with rope in her hand. I need to get home and get my bb gun. It won't kill them, but it will hurt like the devil. I'm faster than the girl behind me, but she seems to know the woods more than I do, I trip over every rock. She's catching up to me reaching her hand out to grab me, and she does. She pulls on my collar and chokes me. I fall and she jumps on me. I won't let her tie me up, I can't.

River

One of the other girls has run after Oakley. I try to get up but the whip comes down on my back again and it's too painful to move. The other girl that Becca brought with her is tying me up. She has her knee on my back and I want to scream.

"Aww, why are you crying pet?" She pulls a knife out of her back pocket and runs it over my face. I'm terrified, "Daw, you're so cute. Take her clothes off," snaps at the other girl, andshe pushes the blade against my eyebrow, and I can feel it cut through my skin. Blood starts to run down my face, and the other girl starts to remove my suit.

"She'll kill you," I say, my voice shaking.

"Is that so?" she smirks, "What if I kill her first?"

"I will."

Oakley

I'm in full survival mode now. I've got her in a choke hold now I won't kill her just make her unconscious. As she finally slips away, I grab her rope and tie her to a tree. I start to head back to my house when I hear River scream. I'm going back.

River

Becca's cutting through my leg. I can't help but scream. She's staring at the girl and she's dropped her knife. It's Oakley and her dad.

Oakley

I ran as fast as I could to my house. My dad was in the kitchen.

"What happened?!"

I realized I'm bleeding and I've got dirt everywhere, "WE NEED TO GO NOW!"

I run out the back door and my dad chases after me with no questions. I can hear River crying and I start to run towards the shack. My dad grabs my shoulders and puts a finger to his lip. He sneaks around the shack and I follow him. We find a hole and quietly climb through it. He grabs the girl near the corner by the shoulders and by the back of her neck. He comes into the light and Becca drops her knife. She still doesn't see me so I walk over to her and kick her in the back. She falls over and turns on her back. I jump on her and kick her knife away.

River smiles, "I told you she'd kill you."

My dad throws the girl on the floor, "Stay," and she does.
