Chapter 2: New Life?

"Motherfucker! Why the hell did you shoot my leg!" Screamed Strat with a pain filled voice.

Strat tried to lift himself up but was smacked to the ground the big, strong soldiers that surrounded him.

"You yourself should know that Strat." Said the leader of the group while looking at Strat with hateful eyes.

"I really don't know what the hell you're talking about!" Exclaimed Strat.

The leader of the group went towards Strat immediately and grabbed him by his head. As soon he grabbed Strat's head, he bashed it towards the ground multiple times.

" You little fuck! You should know what hell you done! You've killed over ten thousand people over the course of two weeks!" Said the leader as he lifted the bloody bruised face of Strat towards his own face.

The now beaten Strat thought in his damaged head, " Fucking hell. Maybe I should try to use my trump card to get out of this situation. Let's just hope it doesn't fry my head."

As soon he stopped thinking on about what he should do, he started up his cybernetic spine. All of the sudden he felt that his whole body was all of the sudden breaking apart.

"AHHHHH! MY BODY!" Said Strat with an angered and pained voice.

The leader smiled at the screams of agony from Strat.

"Good job. I knew this fucker was going to do this," said the leader to his men.

"Hey Strat, do you know why you're feeling this intense pain? Well, I had someone hack into your mechanical system and as soon you tried to use your cybernetics it will try to kill you." Implied the leader towards Strat.

" Y-you little s-shit you knew f-from the b-beginning!" Said Strat struggling to speak.

"Looks like this is the end for you. Another legend dies by my hand just my luck. Kill him now men." Said the leader with a firm voice.

His men followed his order and all of the went towards him immediately. As soon they went near Strat, they raised their weapons.

Before they took the shot Strat had his last thought " Man this is really the end of me. Man, I should have visited him. But at least I showed him the ropes."

When the men finished reloading, they immediately shot Strat all over his body. The noises from the shooting could be heard throughout the area they were in.

" Men stop. He's already dead. Let's leave him here to rot." Said the leader while walking towards the hole they made.

The rest of the men started to walk in the same direction as him leaving the corpse of Strat behind. Everything was black for Strat until he heard a voice, "My child open your eyes." Said a deep strange voice.

Strat opened his eyes to see a strange person to be in front of him. The person right in front of him can't be described by simple words. Strat tried to talk but couldn't speak.

"My child don't speak. You may have questions, so I'll answer them." Said the man in front of Strat.

"You may call me Athenodora, the God of war, knowledge, and engineering just call me Athen. Yes, your dead that's why you are here. You may now speak child when you want."

Strat was confused by what he said but didn't mind him. But as soon as Strat tried to speak Athen interrupted him again.

" Before you can speak yes, I'm just only here just to send you back to your world in a new body. In which you can choose what you want you want to like. Then I'll bestow you my title and power, but they will be locked until you start learning how to use them."

Strat was now more confused by what he said. He was given time to speak so he took advantage of it and said " I know this is a trick or something because no one gives anything for free unless you give something back in return. So, what's the catch?"

Athen then took on a smile then changed his appearance from a white angelical appearance to a darker colored demonic like appearance.

"Guess there's no way to hide it now. Well, I want you to the new reaper in the realm of the living. Now the real question now is do you accept my offer." Said Athen with his black tough hands out towards Strat.

He looked towards Athen then thought, " I know I shouldn't accept his offer but my killer instincts from my past wants to."

As soon he got his thoughts together, he brought us arm up towards Athen's hand and took a from grip on it.

" You know what fuck it! The worst that could happen to me is me dying here." Said Strat with an excited voice.

When he finished talking Athen spoke." I shall bestow you my powers and my title but as an extra I'll grant you anything you want before I send you back to the mortal world." Strat looked ecstatic and thought for a long time before deciding what he wanted.

Once he thought of what he wanted then he responded with " I want the power to create anything that he wanted without limit."

Athen looked at Strat with a smile then laughed. "Hahaha! This is what you wanted alright I'll grant you what you wanted but you need to collect the supplies. For now, I shall disappear and before I do remember to make the body that you want. Also, I shall send you back to the year 2023. Looks like it's my time to disappear. Have a nice time being the new reaper. You shall get notifications on who you'll kill by my subordinate. Goodbye!" Said Athen before disappearing into thin air.

As soon as Athen disappeared a status window immediately showed up in front of Strat that showed his body customization. After an hour of body customization, he finally got the body he wanted then pressed save. When he clicked save, he immediately was taken away and was sent back to Earth.
