Chapter 15: New body (2/3)

The man slowly tapped Strat's face to wake him up.

" Wake up. We've finished the operation," said the man.

Strat slowly opened his eyes.

He slowly stood up from the chair. He went towards the bathroom near him and left behind the man. When he entered the bathroom, he looked at himself in the mirror. A smile came over his face when he saw himself.

Shit man I've changed a lot. But it was all worth it, thought Strat.

He then turned on the faucet and splashed some water on his face. But due to that action, he would soon regret it. He exited the bathroom and went towards the man.

" Thank you for cooperating in my experiment. But since you helped me in my little play. I'll give you that for free," said the man.

Strat was surprised by his response but accepted it. He left the shop immediately. As soon as he left the shop, he got a call.

The call was from his brother, Alex, so he answered the call.

Alex: Hey, I need you at my apartment now!

Strat: Why now?

Alex: Just...come okay I need you.

Strat: .... right, I'll come to you.

The call ended immediately after his words. Since he was far into the city he couldn't tell how long it could take.

Now's the chance to test out this new body," thought Strat. He immediately started to run through the crowd.

At the apartment of Alex.

" Alright, I got him to come. So please don't kill me," said Alex to a mysterious figure.

The person looked at him like prey. They also started to laugh.

Come on brother. You need to be here, thought Alex.

Strat was near Alex's apartment by 2 miles. It's only been 3 minutes and he was almost to his brother's apartment. But now in the distance was his brother's apartment. He was relieved when he saw it. But then he saw his brother being dragged out. Strat that his brother was covered in blood and bruises all over his face.

The man that dragged him immediately ran with his brother being dragged by him. Strat immediately went towards the man like a full-blown psycho.

" GIVE MY FUCKING BROTHER BACK YOU UGLY FUCK! HE'S MY ONLY FAMILY LEFT YOU BASTARD! " Yelled Strat.

But Strat was arrogant in making the move he did. He never took on the effects of his actions. He followed the man everywhere and the final location that they stopped was an abandoned building. The man stopped took a gun out and started shooting at Strat. Since Strat had a new body he now can surpass the regular human limits. So he dodged every bullet the man shot.

The still agitated strat immediately went forward towards the man recklessly. But he was soon to be short-circuited. So Strat immediately fell to the ground and was met by the ground. At that moment he could see the man in full view. The man had the gun straight to his brother's head.

"No.... don't even think about doing that," said Strat in a worried tone.

The man slowly pulled the trigger.

Immediately Strat yelled, " NO DON'T DO IT! PLEASE NO!"

Then a shot was heard after Strat begged. The face that Strat made could make any person horrified.

" no.... brother.... please don't be dead," said Strat in a quiet voice.

Even Strat couldn't move his body before he started to lift himself. After he fully lifted himself. Strat slowly walked towards the man that killed his brother. Once he was near the man, he immediately jumped towards him in hatred.
