S1 Ep.3

Shorty after leaving the bathroom feeling more alive then ever Koji hear a Knock on the door and naturally assume it was the food he ordered but found only three students standing outside.

"Hey pal! Your in my room! Don't make me come in there."

Koji opened the door slightly before the trio pushed it wide open and started looking around the room.

"Hey zack look! We got our own kitchen to use. Wait why is there only one bed?"

"I don't know but looks like we got a new bathroom as well."

The third student then noticed Hatasho lying against the table and went to reach for it before it flew over to Koji who was pissed off beyond measure while wearing only a towel.

"G-Guys… that was Sword Ki! He's a Soul master!"

Koji immediately shut the door while the young boy who just spoke got on his knees.

"Master we are sorry! We seem to have gotten the wrong room. Please forgive us."

The other two students however scoffed it off.

"Walter that guy isn't a soul master. These are the student dorms. Hey pal! Just so you know it's prohibited to-"

Koji however didn't let the man finish as he began punching the man repeatedly against the wall until he could no longer stand and fell to the ground.

The last two boys were now terrified as Koji started beating them up with both of his bare hands.

Now presently Koji was almost enjoying his meal he had ordered if it wasn't for Zuang and Xia watching over him asking what had happened.

"Koji we need to know what happened. Please tell us."

"The Headmaster can look into the matter but we need you to tell us what happened."

Koji however kept eating in silence until he swallowed the last bit of rice and spoke.

"They broke in to say that this was their room and tried to grab Hatasho. So I showed them they were wrong."

Zuang and Xia then looked at Hatasho lying on Koji's bed and smiled as they saw Koji had embraced himself as a soul guardian by naming his weapon.

"I will investigate the matter Koji so just rest up for now. You have the combat test tomorrow where you will be assigned to a team."

Koji wanted to refuse the thought of being in a team but knew he was already pulling the small thread on the head master's patience with this favouritism.

Koji soundly went to sleep in the soft and warm bed which made Zuang feel some sadness from seeing Koji sound asleep.

'You won't go cold ever again boy.'

Meanwhile Madam Bo was in the Medical Ward with the three boys awake in pain.

Madam Bo was neither mad nor happy as she looked at the boys who couldn't bare to look at the headmaster.

"Explain what happened or I'll have to expel all of you and do not lie or your will wish you were only expelled."

One of the boys tried speaking but was having trouble with a broken jaw while one was on a respirator to help with his breathing.

All that was left was the boy with a fractured arm and leg with major bruises around the body.

"W-We made a mistake and thought he was in our dorm. We are sorry headmaster."

The Madam then left with nothing more to say to the three boys which had them both relieved and worried.

All the while Madam Bo was bitting her lip in anger.

'These knuckleheads should be Expelled form violating Master Koji's privacy! But if I do that then there will be an investigation and it will lead them to Master Koji.'

Madam Bo the remembered Zuang's warning.

'I just think we should handle the situation with the utmost care'

High ranking Soul Masters such as madam Bo, Xia and Zuang weren't forces to mess with but that was because they were acknowledged as Soul Masters. But Koji wasn't a Soul Master but could very well be in a few years if not sooner.

So it was natural for Madam Bo to help Koji feel welcomed and loved by those on the school grounds but now after this incident it seemed impossible.

Fortunately Zuang was approaching Madam Bo with a smile.

"I talked with they boy and he simply defended himself and his sword and he has fallen asleep."

Madam Bo sighed in relief after hearing this from Zuang.

"Very good Zuang. Starting tomorrow I want you to support Master Koji. We can't repeat what happened last time."

Zuang face turned cold and gave Madam Bo a respectable bow before leaving.

Koji however couldn't sleep in such a comfortable bed and saw the sun was still air in the sky.

Koji the decided to put on his uniform and mask before poking his head out of the door to see no one in the halls before he started exploring the halls.

However it was like a maze until Koji walked past a gymnasium while dozens of both male and female students were training.

Koji then saw something odd as parts of the students body were glowing red in seconds before disappearing seconds later only to return when they threw an attack.

But Koji was soon discovered by the gym teacher who was right behind him.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in class. Who's your teacher and what's with the mask?"

The teacher went to remove the mask but Koji moved out of the way which surprised and yet infuriated the teacher.

"Why you little brat! Come here!"

Koji was now running from the teacher before they had entered the gymnasium.

The students immediately started watching as Koji kept avoiding the teacher's attempts to grab koji's mask before some of the students began cheering the teacher on.

"Come on Mr.Simuel! Catch him!"

"My money is on Mr.Simuel."

"I'm betting on the masked dude. Anyone know who he is?"

The students continued chatting all while one student kept watching Koji closely with her eyes in wonder as she saw Koji using the Cloud walking technique in short yet very effective bursts.

However her concentration was broken by the teacher who drew his longsword and pointed it at Koji who was Unarmed without Hatasho.

"Stop running and remove your mask otherwise you will leave me no choice but to use force."

As the teacher got into a forward stance Koji noticed it again as the teachers right shoulder glowed red.

'What's happening? Are my senses trying to tell me to attack that spot?'

Koji then saw the teacher charging him and Koji trusted his instincts and punched the teachers right shoulder before gaining a few feet.

""!?""

The gym fell silent as the teacher dropped his sword in front of everyone.

Frantically the teacher grabbed his sword again and tried striking Koji once more but this time Koji landed a punch to the teachers knee which caused him to slip and twist his ankle.

"AHHHH! You little brat!"

Koji however was too distracted by what had just happened to notice all of the students looking at him.

Soon everyone began clapping before Xia came bursting through the gymnasium doors and immediately noticed Koji and the teacher.

"Master Koji what happened?! Are you hurt?"

Everyone's eyes nearly popped out of their heads.

""HE'S A MASTER?!""

Had the gymnasium not been sound proof everyone in the school would have heard it.

Xia immediately had two students take away the teacher with the twisted ankle before she pointed at Koji.

"Everyone show your respect to Master Koji."

But Xia then realized Koji had left the gymnasium and returned to his dorm and locked the door.

While inside his dorm he turned to Hatasho and tried to find the ingrained writing he saw earlier but couldn't find it.

"You… want me to teach them how to fight? But what can I do to teach them? I'm a nobody with some degree of talent."

Koji never saw himself as more then a regular man trying to survive in such a harsh world and even after the countless praises from Xia, Zuang and the Headmaster he still didn't feel like anything more then a man given a second chance.

Meanwhile madam Bo was calmly relaxing in her offer until Xia bursted in with a usb stick in hand.

"Headmaster you need to see this."

It was a video captured by a camera in the gymnasium showing Koji facing Mr.Simuel.

'Mr.Simuel may be old but he is one of our more seasoned fighters then most but even he wasn't a match for Master Koji.'

However instead of praising Xia for bringing this to her she scolded her. As her computer was already seeing school media posts about a new Soul Master.

"You told a class of students about master Koji?! What is wrong with you!?"

It was just now that Xia realized her mistake.

"My bad headmaster."

Madam Bo wanted to severely punish Xia but sent her away as she kept watching Koji Defeat a teacher over and over again with only one punch.

'Seems there's more layers to this giant onion'

The news of a new soul Master had spread like wildfire across the school to where everyone started ditching in the middle of classes to look for Koji.

But none could find Koji who was safely in his room hiding under his bed.

'I'll just have to stay here until they give up'

After what seemed like hours the noises outside stopped until Koji looked out of his window to see every single student in the courtyard eating lunch which made koji hungry again.

Once again koji ordered food on the phone provided by Zuang and sat under the windowsill with the window wide open.

But what he didn't know was that there was the same student from the gym on the rooftop with a pair of binoculars as she was watching Koji start to eat the burger and fries he had ordered.

"…finally a worthy opponent."
