"Are you miss Levi?"
"Ah yes, but sorry I don't recognise you. Who are you?"
"Master Frank sent me here, can I come in?"
Levi's heart skipped a beat hearing this and she quickly invited this man into her house.
After taking a seat in the living room, Andy begin his introduction.
"Sorry for the late introduction, I don't want anyone else to know about my identify as per master Frank's orders. My name is Dr Andrew, master Frank asked me to come here to check on your mother" said Andy as he placed Frank's ring on the table.
"Ah! this is master Frank's ring!" Although Levi felt extremely happy hearing that her master Frank cared so much about her, but still was a bit doubtful that how can he risk revealing a hint of their relationship to a stranger. This could basically drag Wright's family name through mud.
As if Andy could read her thoughts, he continued
"I am no stranger. I... my entire family would be dead right now if not for master Frank's grace. I swore my allegiance to him the day he saved my family. Master Frank also trusts me completely, that why he told me about your relationship as well."
"What!?" Levi couldn't believe her ears that her master Frank revealed their relationship to someone.
"But..." Seeing Levi was still a bit hesitant, Andy gave the final push
"Its good that you are being cautious as this could cause the downfall of Wright family if word gets out, but you don't have to be so cautious of me. As I said before master Frank trusts me completely and I will die before telling this secret to anyone. He even told me about the kiss the two of you shared miss Levi." said Andy with a calm smile.
Levi blushed when she remembered that kiss and lowered her guard towards Andy, she no longer doubted him.
"So miss Levi would you mind if I take a look at your mother's condition?"
"Ah yes! Please forgive me for suspecting you Dr Andrew. Please come this way, she is currently resting" said Levi and guided Andy to her parent's bedroom.
"Sorry to interrupt you in the middle of your sleep mother, but a doctor from capital city is here to take a look at you" said Levi, there was a hope in her voice.
Although bedridden for a long time, Levi's mother still looked very pretty. Although she was wearing a loose gown, Andy could still tell she had at least E cup size breasts. She appeared to be in her early 30s.
"You silly child, why do you keep wasting more and more money on your useless old mother like this?" said Levi's mother in a very gentle and fragile tone.
Hearing that tears started falling off her husband's eyes who was sitting beside her.
"This should have been my job to take care of my wife, but I... I am useless. I can't even afford the low-tier potions for my wife using the miserable salary I get"
"Father please don't cry, why does it matter if I purchase it or you? We are all the same family" said Levi with tears in her eyes.
Levi's mother then continued "Sorry about that doctor, please go ahead, my name is Layla and this is my husband Alex"
"Hello Mrs Layla, I am Dr Andrew. Can you please start with telling me about your symptoms"
"This started around 3 years ago doctor, it started off with bit of weakness and fatigue, gradually it became difficult for me to even walk or lift things. We didn't have much money, so we only consulted a local doctor at the time, he couldn't tell what was wrong with my body and suggested that I should take a low-tier healing potion, that should heal the damage if any to my body's muscles. After spending most of our savings we bought a low-tier health potion as doctor suggested, and it did make things better but did not completely heal me, and within a week my body went back to the same state and continued getting even worse afterwards."
Layla stopped to catch her breadth for a moment, even speaking was difficult for her. After a minute she continued in her feeble voice
"Basically a low-tier healing potion only heals the last 1 week's damage. Even if I take 2 potions back to back, 2nd potion doesn't have any effect. Both my husband and daughter started working overtime everyday after that so they could collect enough money to keep buying potions for me, but still that wasn't enough to buy at least 1 potion per week, so my condition kept deteriorating until my daughter found a job in Wright family mansion"
"Have you ever tried mid-tier healing potion?" asked Andy
Layla turned to look towards her husband who nervously said
"Y-Yes, I sold my farm land to buy one from black market. But that only healed about last 1 month of damage compared to 1 week for low-tier potion"
The reason he bought it from black market was because only nobles were allowed to use mid-tier or higher tier potions.
Andy then nodded and asked if he could take Layla's pulse to which she agreed.
"Please forgive me for being rude" said Andy as he took Layla's wrist into his palm and acted like he was checking her pulse. After a few seconds his expression changed.
"Whats wrong doctor?" Asked Levi nervously.
"Your mother's motor nerves are degenerating and even high-tier healing potion won't be able to heal her completely" said Andy, he wasn't throwing around BS this time and was correct analysis.
Hearing this both Levi and her father broke down into tears, but after a little pause Andy said
"I might have a save to cure Mrs Layla completely but..." Both Levi and Alex turned to look at him with a hopeful gaze.
"But what doctor?" asked both of them at the same time
"Can we go and talk somewhere private and let Mrs Layla rest for now?" asked Andy, to which both Levi and Alex agreed.
Once they moved to a different room Andy continued
"I am absolutely confident that she can be healed using a top-tier potion. But I am guessing there is no way for any of us to get one right?" said Andy
"top-tier healing potion... we can't even get high-tier potion" said Alex dejectedly.
"Sigh, I actually have another way to completely heal Mrs Layla but I would suggest you to not choose that method"
"W-What method? Can you please tell us?" asked Alex nervously
'Hehehe let's have some fun now shall we?' Thought Andy as he came up with a plan for tormenting... no treating Layla.
