A New World and a New Beginning

The concept and reality of reincarnation were no longer strange to Xin, as this would be his third time going through it.

Wanting to get a better idea of his surroundings, Xin squinted his eyes as the bright sunlight stung his newborn eyes while gaining a sense of his surrounding.

It looked rather medieval with its stone bricks and gothic style, compared to his times on Earth and the spacefaring planet, but there was something about the room that made it feel so much more than that.

There were a handful of people in the room, with most looking like maids and servants with their uniformed attire. Some of them whispered and clamored, but Xin couldn't understand any of it as it just sounded like gibberish.

However, while the room and maids interested him, he was much more interested in the person holding him.

As he sat snuggly tucked in a warm and gentle blanket that coddled him like he was floating in clouds, he noticed the lady holding him was incredibly gorgeous.

In fact, if he had met her in his time back on Earth. He would've been mesmerized and probably paralyzed by social anxiety while he stumbled on his own words.

Her brunette hair was silky smooth, while her face had a burnished complexion, but those weren't even her greatest features.

Xin stared into the lady's hazel eyes which glowed and shined like the greatest treasures in the world and made him feel like he was meeting an angelic goddess.

She had a pair of elegantly arched eyebrows, which looked down on her long and sweeping eyelashes that swayed gently with each blink.

With those features alone, she could have been a supermodel back on earth and perhaps even mistaken as a goddess in the cultivation world.

However, it seemed like the heavens weren't just done yet, as she also had a beguiling body that would mesmerize and seduce any common man.

She had an hourglass figure with unblemished skin and voluptuous curves.

Before he could appreciate the woman's beauty any further, he realized that time had stopped and looked around inquisitively until he saw a golden floating door in the middle of the room.

He tried to call out, but it seemed like his vocal cords weren't ready yet, and an incomprehensible stream of sounds came out instead.

Before he could curse at his baby's body in his mind, he heard a soft and angelic voice speak, "Champion, your new body is too young and weak. Relax."

Xin moved his head towards the golden door and saw a beautiful woman standing in the doorway of the floating door who had looks on par or perhaps slightly greater than the lady currently holding him, but the woman had this golden aura that calmed his mind.

"I just came to say this is the last chance for us. I can't afford to give you another life, so you must make this one count," She said as she moved slightly, which ruffled her dove-like wings.

Xin recognized the woman as the goddess that had first told him to fight the horde back on earth and changed his life forever.

He had always dreamed about asking why and confronting the woman about why she chose him, but the first time she appeared since then was when he couldn't speak!

Smirking like she could read his thoughts, she continued to speak. "Since this was the last chance I could give you, I used up most of my remaining power, pushing through some things that were bound to your soul."

Hearing her words, Xin got excited and remembered his soul bonds from the cultivation world.

"Don't get too excited. The world and its laws were a bit too different, so I could only protect them minutely. They only survived the reincarnation since they were powerful. However, they are incredibly weakened and need your help." She continued.

Xin suddenly looked anxious and worried about his bonds which were like family to him.

Suddenly the golden door started to shake, and time shook with it as well. The goddess saw this and started to sweat.

"I have to go now. My powers won't be enough anymore," the goddess started to walk back through the golden door. "I also let you keep some other things from your past lives as a small token of appreciation, plus I'll give you something extra. Don't fail me."

The goddess completely stepped through the golden door, which started to shrink and disappear, leaving no traces of its existence behind.

Before he could think more about it, a searing pain started to assault his head.

His mind was forcibly crammed with information, and he couldn't focus on whatever the people were saying around him as it felt like someone was drilling into his mind with a drill as his vision turned disoriented and blurred from the sheer shock.

He could only grit his teeth and clench his fists as the pain continued to assault him like a battering ram.

Xin's mind was possibly one of the strongest in the world since he had been through three lifetimes, and during his time as a cultivator, he had to endure intense amounts of pain that would make any normal person want to die.

However, this made his mind as strong as the toughest steel, and even though his body was that of a newborn baby, his mind was tougher than ever.

His mind was that of a man who had lived centuries under intense pain and pressure. It was like a metal that had been forged and strengthened countless times before it became the most robust, durable metal ever to be forged.

But even with that, the pain was so intense that even his soul started to tremble like an earthquake had shaken it, and as a baby, he couldn't do much besides wail and cry.

After a few seconds, the pain subsided, but before he could do anything, an old feminine voice entered his ears from next to the bed he was sitting in.

"See, Lady Alden. The baby is completely fine. Sometimes the tougher ones take a while to cry, but they eventually all do," a weathered, affirmative voice rang out

'Wait, I can understand them now? Is this the gift the goddess mentioned?' Xin thought as he realized that the once gibberish he had heard had turned into something he could understand.

"That's relieving. I don't know what I would've done if something went wrong with my little angel," said a euphonious voice above Xin.

Xin looked at where the voice came from and realized it was the stunning woman holding him, and he thought, 'Is the stunning woman my mother?'

At first, it seemed normal, then Xin threw up in his mind as he realized he was examining how hot his mom was earlier.

Before he could throw up in reality, the sound of running footsteps echoed from the open door leading into the hallway until someone burst into the room running.

Xin took a look at the man and tried to examine his features.

Currently, the man was missing a shirt or any form of clothing to cover his exposed upper body, which housed lean and well-defined muscles that made the man appear like a fit boxer in his prime.

He had luscious brown locks of hair with a tinge of red that flowed down like silk in a messy but meticulous manner and barely left any visibility for his beautiful gray eyes.

As he ran towards Xin and the lady holding him, the sweat pooled on his muscles and dripped towards the ground. The various maids and even the butlers all had a slight pink blush after looking at the handsome man run-in shirtless.

The man ran up to Lady Alden, who was also sweating after giving birth, and embraced her as he said, "Sweetie! Are you doing fine?"

Lady Alden, who still held Xin, who was wrapped around the soft blanket, nodded and reassured her husband, "I'm all fine, Darling, but you have to name him!"

Before the man could do anything else, one of the older maids, who seemed like the head maid, spoke loudly to interrupt the two while holding up a shirt, "Ahem, Lord Alden, would you mind putting on a shirt?"

Lord Alden looked down embarrassingly at his bare upper body, which was stained with sweat and still bulging from his workout, as he whistled like such a thing never happened, "Ahem, thank you, Marisa."

The previously shirtless man walked up to Xin and moved his face so close to Xin's face that they were only a few inches away.

Things stayed like that for over a minute before Lord Alden spoke, "How about Razvan, and we can call him Raz regularly?"

Xin thought about the name Raz or Razvan and nodded in his mind as he thought, 'Raz isn't such a bad name. I guess I'm no longer Xin but Raz!'

Meanwhile, Lady Alden seemed to be deep in thought before she smiled and responded, "Razvan Alden and Raz both have a nice ring to them. But to me, he will always be my little angel!"

Suddenly Raz felt a force squish him. As he realized that he was being suffocated by two giant mounds of supple flesh since Lady Alden started to hug him.

Then he felt someone grabbing him, and he was lifted up to Lord Alden's face, who had started to pinch and stretch his cheeks as if he were sculpting clay while he start to say things in a singsongy voice, "Grow up to become a good magus, my son!"

'If you weren't my father, I'd bite you right here!' Raz thought as he was annoyed with his chubby cheeks being pinched.

Then something dawned on him, and he thought to himself, 'Did he say, magus? Like a mage that wields cool magic and creates mind-blowing potions?'

The last time he had been reborn into the cultivation world, he thought it would be his best chance at defeating the horde, but as he thought about the cool things wizards and mages had done in movies and books during his time on Earth.

'Maybe there is hope after all. This time I will defeat th-' Raz thought. Before he could finish his thought, he felt his cheeks being pinched and stretched again by his father, and even though he couldn't show it, as a newborn baby had no teeth, he wanted to grind his teeth in annoyance.

At first, he thought he would have to just sit there and ignore the pinches, but then a brilliant idea dawned on him, and he started to wail loudly like a fire alarm ringing the next time his father pinched him.

Thinking that her husband accidentally hurt Raz, Lady Alden grabbed her husband by the ear and took Raz away while she scolded her husband, "Don't hurt the baby!"

Lord Alden rubbed his red ear as he stared at his wife cuddling with Raz, who seemed to be smirking, but Lord Alden just thought that he was imagining things.
