Chaoter 6: The Entrance Exam and The Test of Strength

As Master Li left the space, Wu Hao and the ancient beast were left alone. Wu Hao turned to the creature and bowed respectfully.

"I am honored to meet you," he said. "May I know your name?"

The ancient beast regarded Wu Hao with a wise gaze. "I am known by many names," she said. "But in this form, you may call me Jing."

Wu Hao was surprised by the ancient beast's response. In her beast form, she had looked like a hundred-year-old creature, but now she looked like a young, beautiful girl. "It's an honor to meet you, Jing," he said.

Jing chuckled. "I am not as young as I appear," she said. "In my beast form, I am much older. But in this form, I am only a few hundred years old."

Wu Hao nodded, understandingly. "I see. So, why did you choose to help me?"

Jing smiled. "You have a kind heart and a strong spirit," she said. "I sense that you have a great destiny ahead of you. I believe that I can help you unlock your full potential."

Wu Hao was humbled by Jing's words. "Thank you for your guidance," he said. "I am honored to have you as my ally."

Together, Wu Hao and Jing faced many challenges and overcame many obstacles. But Wu Hao noticed that Jing would often hide her identity from the people they met on their journey.

"Why do you hide your true identity?" Wu Hao asked one day.

Jing sighed. "It's safer this way," she said. "If people knew who I really am, they might try to capture me or harm me. It's better if I stay hidden."

Wu Hao nodded in understanding. "I'll keep your secret safe," he said. "And you can call me Wu Hao. We're friends, after all."

Jing smiled. "Thank you, Wu Hao. I'm glad to have you as my friend."

"Wow, Jing, that's amazing," Wu Hao said. "I can't wait to try it out for myself."

Jing smiled. "You will, Wu Hao," she said. "But first, we must work on your meditation skills. Without a clear and focused mind, you will not be able to control the elements."

As they approached the academy's entrance, Wu Hao felt a sense of excitement and nervousness. He knew that the entrance test would be challenging, but he was determined to succeed.

"Jing, what do you know about the entrance test?" Wu Hao asked, eager to learn more about what lay ahead.
