Tarun Wagle

The moped stops outside a building with a huge satellite dish on top of it. The person and Morg enter it, they head to one of its sectors. A man is seen sitting behind the counter working on his computer, the person goes near him and says, "We are here to pay the light bill." the man nods, and then the person hands him the bill paper.

The man types in the information on his computer and says, "Tarun Wagle right?" The person says, "Yes" The man then replies, "You have passed the bill due date and a penalty of fifty-two rupees has been applied, bringing the total up to five hundred and sixty-two rupees."

Hearing this the person takes a step back and then sighs. Morg thinks, "Yes Wagle that was my surname! Tarun Wagle is my name in this world." the person then hands the man the required amount and takes the paid receipt.

The both of them leave the building, and the person says, "Beta Tarun are there any other bills remaining? Water bill, maintenance, tax, better tell me before a penalty is also applied on them." Tarun shakes his head and says, "Because of your kindness I was able to pay all of the other bills."

The person gets on the moped and then says, "Stop with the flattery and quickly get on the back seat, I will have to take you home before five or I will be late for dinner and then have to listen to aunts bickering all night long." Tarun quickly hops on and then they leave.

They arrive near Tarun's house and Tarun gets off, then the person says, "When you go home first eat something and then sleep, it's okay even if you don't come to the shop again tomorrow."

Tarun replies, "Thank you Uncle Joginder, if you hadn't taken me in… I don't know what would have happened to me. Thank you."

The person's name is finally reviled, its Joginder, he replies, "Enough, enough now go home and eat I'll also go home and eat with aunt."

Tarun nods and then goes to his small empty apartment, he goes to his cupboard and takes out a book. He staples the bill receipt to it and then keeps it back.

While closing the cupboard a smile appears on Tarun's face but his eyes are filled with worry, he thinks, "No stranger has ever shown me so much kindness, not even in the other world."

He closes his eyes and decides to repay his kindness a hundred folds, he then thinks, "But first, I really want to have that warm bath."

So he runs to his bathroom and turns on the water heater, thankfully it turns on this time, after the water heats up to the right temperature Tarun fills his tub and enters it.

He closes his eyes and leans his head back against the edge of the tub. Tarun let out a contented sigh as he allowed the warmth of the water to soothe his muscles, washing away the stress of the day.

He stretched out his legs, feeling the hot water surround his body completely. He smiles as he submerged himself completely, his hair floating around him moving with the water.

He enjoys the feeling of being weightless in the water, as the warmth seeps into his bones he feels his worries melt away, leaving him feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

Tarun stayed in the tub for what felt like hours, enjoying every moment of his soak. When he finally emerged, his skin was pink and rosy from the heat, and his mind felt clear and calm.

He thinks, "Haaaaah, that was heaven, all that a man needs is a tub of hot water after a day of handwork." he takes a deep breath and then reaches for a rough and tattered towel and wipes his body with it.

He wraps it around his waist and goes to his bedroom, he changes into new clothes and then heads to the kitchen.

Tarun opens the fridge and takes a few vegetables out of it. He washes them and then chops them, he opens one of the drawers and takes out a vessel utensil. Tarun then fills it with water and puts some spices in it, he then lets it boil and puts the vegetables in it.

After letting it cook for a while he turns the gas off and puts a lid on it. He then puts a sitting carpet on the floor and keeps a bowl with a spoon in front of it, he then fills a cup of water and keeps it near the bowl.

Tarun lifts the utensil with the help of a cloth and then pours some of the food into the bowl. He then takes a seat and then joins his hands, he then says,

"वदनि कवळ घेता नाम घ्या श्रीहरीचे ।

सहज हवन होते नाम घेता फुकाचे ।

जिवन करि जिवित्वा अन्न हे पूर्णब्रह्म ।

उदरभरण नोहे जाणिजे यज्ञकर्म ||

|| जय जय रघुवीर समर्थ ||"

[*It's a mantra that is said in Hinduism before eating. It has a wonderful meaning.]

He then slowly eats his food and finishes all of it not leaving a drop to waste. Tarun then washes the used bowl and utensils and leaves them to dry.

He then goes to his bed and lay down on it, he doesn't even need a second and falls asleep. He wakes up to the chipper of birds and yawns, he gets out of bed and stretches a little. Tarun then checks his phone to see the time, it was currently four-thirty in the morning. He opens the curtain beside his bed to revile a small wooden window.

Tarun opens it and chill air fills the room, outside, dime light was everywhere as the sun was just on the verge of daybreak. He then removes his clothes and throws them on the bed.

Tarun goes to the living room and creates some space, he then does some basic exercises and sits to meditate. After opening his eyes he thinks, "Just as I thought… my body is extraordinary. It has tremendous martial potential and when it comes to mana well, it's so deep that even I, cannot see the end of it."

As he tries to get up, tremendous pain shoots through his body, he stumbles and then thinks, "Even if I have a good body I cannot do anything with it if it's malnourished! I will have to find a way to get some meat."

Tarun then mutters, "I should take a cold shower." his body covered in sweat, he thinks it would be good to take a cold bath after some exercise. He takes the towel he left to dry after yesterday's bath and then again goes to take one.

Tarun closes the bathroom door and hangs his towel, he then stands under the shower and starts to take a deep breath, he turns the shower on mid-breath. Cold water pours on his body as he gets goosebumps, however, he adapts to it quickly and even enjoys it.

He turns the shower off and wipes his body, strangely feeling strength enter his body. Tarun then changes into the clothes he threw on the bed and thinks, "Being poor indeed is a sin."

Tarun then again checks his phone and sees that now it's nearly seven. He leaves his house, locks it, and goes down the staircase.
