Descending from the atmosphere, the ship had to slow its descent with maximum thrust downward as the planet's gravity, even though low compared to many others, pulled on it.
But it was nothing this little cruiser ship, with its mysterious VIP occupant, couldn't handle. It was built for much more rigorous manoeuvres and environments.
As the pilot landed the flat triangle-shaped ship on an open area next to the tallest tree-like structure, a few of the crew members watched with fascination as the sun's reflection threw colourful rays at their ship as it passed through all the angles of the structure.
"Can you fathom an entire city like this? This civilization, at its peak, must have been a sight to behold…" one of the younger men said, his face a mask of pure awe.
A quick slap struck him behind the head, as his seat neighbour at the console they were glared at him.
