For a moment, the world around her seemed to have frozen as if time had stopped. Even her breathing and heart seemed to stop at that moment. All she could feel was the warm and moist sensation on her lips and the manly hand grabbing her nape, holding her in place like a trapped prey.
She unconsciously had raised her hand halfway as ethereal energy began to rise up in her veins to blast him away. However, right when her icy, ethereal energy was about to release from her hands, the flow of energy suddenly froze as well, just like her thoughts.
She didn't even realize how her senses were getting intoxicated by this man's kiss and how he was slowly taking control over her body with his warmth. Before she knew it, her lips were timidly moving on their own, as if to sync with the rhythm of Damien's kiss, and for a moment, she felt as if she was experiencing pure bliss and happiness.
