The Chase
Retreat was not an option for our heroes rather it was a decision made in desperation, a decision which became difficult when even the weather was bad, the sunny day had faded and dark clouds covered the skies of Ortania, Ashhad and his friends had gained an advantage due to element of surprise and they had gotten away from danger but Skull crusher and his mercenaries were hot on their heels, walking through the rough terrain of the forest Ashhad and his friends had gotten wet and miserable, Aliza had began crying and Alyne was comforting her but she to was scared for her well being with tears in her eyes she comforted the crying Aliza
Alyne : Aliza sweetie please stop crying, if you don't stop I'll start crying to.
after saying that Alyne burst into tears, she tightly held Aliza and both of them sheded many tears, seeing this everybody else stopped, Zulqarnain was at his all time worst but, when he saw Aliza he placed his worries aside and went to Aliza and Alyne and began comforting them
Zulqarnain : Girls, please keep it together, I know things are going bad but I promise that things will become better.
Humzah looked up at the minute raindrops falling on them and said
Humzah : even the weather is not on our side and you're saying things will get.
Zulqarnain : have some hope Humzah.
Aaron : I've never had such an intense battle in my whole life and even when I tried my best I still failed to deliver even a single blow.
Nizaam : we are outmatched both in number and skill.
Zulqarnain angrily asked
Zulqarnain : so what?!
Nizaam turned his attention to Zulqarnain and replied in a similar tune
Nizaam : so we need to plan our next move quickly or we'll all be dead!!
Ashhad angrily shouted
Ashhad : CALM DOWN BOTH OF YOU!!!
everyone became pin drop silent as Ashhad said
Ashhad : we are on the run and the best you two can do is argue.
Nizaam : oh really, what do you propose?
Ashhad : I propose that we split up, so that if one group gets caught the others makes it out alive.
Zulqarnain : that is one of the most stupid idea ever.
Nizaam : elaborate why?
Zulqarnain pointed at Aliza and Alyne and said
Zulqarnain : look at them, what do you think will happen to them after your eyes get closed for good, do you think those heathens, those savages will let them live with honor and dignity.
Ashhad was speechless as Zulqarnain said
Zulqarnain : as I thought.
Aaron : guys I think we should ...
Aaron was unable to complete his sentence as an arrow came and struck him on the shoulder, Ashhad exclaimed in shock
Ashhad : Aaron!
Skull crusher and his mercenaries appeared from the bushes and ambushed them, knowing that they couldn't win in a fight Ashhad shouted
Ashhad : run!
the friends made a run for their life, they got dispersed in all directions and so did their pursuers, Aaron, Hussnain, Humzah and Nizaam were being chased by two brothers each, while 3 lustful brothers were chasing Aliza and Alyne with the intent clear in their eyes, Ashhad and Zulqarnain were being chased by Dean and Skull crusher respectively, Humzah somehow got a good pace but his tall and slightly chubby body made it difficult to keep a steady pace, his chasers soon caught up with him as they drew their swords and got close Humzah took out his jar of cookies which still had plenty of cookies in it, he suddenly got a bright idea he took one cookie and threw the jar at the two brothers chasing him, they grabbed it and then suddenly stopped, the smell coming from the cookies was so mouthwatering that the brothers completely forgot they were chasing Humzah and started chowing down the cookies while Humzah got away, Hussnain was running steadily he knew his pursuers would eventually catch up to him so he devised an amazing plan, he slowed down on purpose to gain some stamina, his chasers saw this as an opportunity and increased their speed just as they got close to Hussnain, Hussnain let his inner sports athlete out and started running like an Olympic athlete, seeing this his chasers increased their speed and as they got close to him Hussnain smiled and said
Hussnain : their's one thing I can do that you cannot.
the deaf brothers didn't heard this and kept coming close, just than in an instant Hussnain stopped but, the brothers didn't and they ran head first into a large tree as Hussnain said
Hussnain : I can stop.
meanwhile Aaron had lost his chasers which was good however, in doing so Aaron lost track and had gotten lost, he was deep in the forest where no one would be able to hear him, fearing that the brothers might be close Aaron kept quietly walking through the forest, he wasn't aware that something sinister was watching him, Aaron had gotten tired so he sat down on a tree branch to regain his strength, Aaron had let his guard down an act which would become his undoing, the thing that was watching Aaron made its way towards him Aaron heard footsteps behind him
as he turned around he saw it .... the last thing that was heard was Aaron's horrified scream, Aliza and Alyne were being chased with full speed as the two girls began to tire Alyne said to Aliza
Alyne : Aliza I can only buy you a few seconds, run as fast as you can and get to safety.
Aliza : but ... but what about you?
Alyne : don't worry about me I'll be alright.
Aliza : are you sure?
Alyne : poverty made me lose my virginity at a young age and the day I lost it, I swore an oath that I'd die but I'll never let another girl go through the suffering I have.
Aliza's eyes became teary as Alyne screamed
Alyne : you don't have much time Aliza run!
Aliza ran away whilst crying Alyne took out her sword as the brothers approached her, Ashhad and Zulqarnain had met a dead end as Ashhad asked
Ashhad : now what?
Zulqarnain : when you have no choice make one.
Zulqarnain drew out his sword as Skull crusher and Dean arrived, Dean mockingly said
Dean : well well, seems like the sloths have became the tigers.
Ashhad took out his sword and said
Ashhad : exactly and these tigers are gonna rip you apart.
Skull crusher and Dean took out their swords and said
Skull crusher : enough said, let the battle begin.
