Evelyn was in her thoughts.. her mind was puzzled with Steve's taunts. She wasn't able to think anything else, so she immediately called her dad.

-On Call-

'Hello Dad, I need to talk to you..'

                                                       'What is it? I'm busy right now..'

'Dad, I need money. My friends are asking a

party for celebrating my wedding..

And I don't have any money..'

                                                  'Can't you just calm down for a sec..?'

'Calm down! They're making fun of my situation...

They're telling me that I'm poor, I don't have money..

Dad, am I really your own daughter..?

Why did you make me marry a poor person like him..!?

WHY? DO YOU THINK I CAN LIVE LIKE THIS..?

No dad! I can't live with him.. Never!!'

Meanwhile, she didn't even notice that someone heard her words and got hurt.. Jack heard it! While he was opening the door. After hearing this, all he thought was about of how she thinks of her. He knows he's not rich like them but doesn't mean that he's poor.. He earns money, but not much.. it can only make them happy by food and clothes, that's it..! He doesn't have much money to waste on expensive things..

But her words really made him feel like he's a worthless & poor person, looking down, he pulled the door and slighty closed it without making noise..

She walked down the stairs and entered the living room.. and saw her husband sitting there, looking down.

'You home..?' She didn't knew why she asked him this but yeah.. he just hummed. 'If you're hungry then let me tell you that I forgot to make dinner, so you have to wait until I make it..' 'No need of that! I'm not hungry. I'm sleepy..' He didnt even take a glance over her and went in the room.. it felt weird to Eveleyn! All she thought was this isn't his nature so what's his problem.. What did all of a sudden happen to him..

She entered the kitchen and saw grocery items. She thought, he bought all this but didn't want to eat anything, why?

She took the bags and kept them in the fridge and while doing so she found a chocolate and unknowingly she smiled a bit. He said he doesn't have any money to fulfill her expenses and desires but he bought her a chocolate. But if he bought this for her then why didn't he give it to her..?
