Ch.4 Stuck

"Hua are you here," Sana asked.

"Oh Sana, your friend is currently in the bathroom, you can sit here and wait for him," said the nurse.

"Oh thank you," Sana replied. The nurse had stepped out of the room and Hua came out of the bathroom two minutes later.

"Hua, are you okay," Sana asked. Hua stayed silent and ignored Sana.

"Hua talk to me, what is going on with you and Duke."

"Nothing is going on,"

"Is he still bullying you or is still physically abusing you constantly? Tell me," Sana looked in Hua's eyes and touched his face with both of hands on his cheeks. It was truly that she was worried.

"If I tell you, don't tell Duke that I told you, alright," Hua replied. Sana nodded. Hua took a deep breath before speaking.

"Duke doesn't want to tell everyone about me because he thinks it is embarrassing, that a someone like me could be related with him. Even though we are half brothers with a different mother. And I am the outcast of the family, another way to say it is that I am their errand boy, a mistress son, and everyday is like hell at home." Drops of water had slowly came down from Hua's eyes. He couldn't hold in his pain anymore and had finally let it all out. Sana couldn't do anything but to comfort him. She hugged him with his head on her chest and she patted his back slowly and softly.

The next day, Hua woke up at 7AM, got dressed, and went out. He saw Sana standing infront of his gateway.

"Lets go," Sana said with joy.

It was a long silence in the car. Sana focused on driving and Hua looked out the window.

"So what are you thinking Hua," Sana asked to break the silence.

"Nothing, I am thinking about nothing, just looking at the sky." Sana didn't know what to ask next and tapped the steering wheel to make the silence fill with her taps.

"Want some music," Sana asked.

"Sure," Hua answered. Sana turned the tune and had landed on "Lights Down Low" by MAX ft.gnash.

"We are here, Hua," Sana said. Hua got out of the car first and walked out leaving Sana behind.

"Wait, Hua," Sana yelled. Hua turned around to look at Sana.

"Wanna come to my house later and help me study," Sana asked. What she meant by study was to hangout with Hua.

"Sure, just text me what time."

"No, I'm driving you,"

"Oh, are you sure you are okay with me coming with you." Hua was worried people might get the wrong impression if she drove him again.

"No not at all."

"Okay, wait for me."

Class was starting. Sana knew Duke and her was not going to work out, if she had feelings for Hua. But breaking up with Duke is the problem. She doesn't want Duke to put out the anger on Hua when they break up. So, when the time is right she will tell Duke that it is over between them and hopefully he will be calm about it.

"Hey, Sana what are you doing after school," her friend asked.

"Um, I'm going to hangout with someone," Sana replied.

"Someone? You mean Duke."

"No, it is not Duke."

"Then, who is it?" Sana kept quiet. She thought if they knew it was Hua then the rumors would spread that she is dating Hua and cheating on Duke.

"Come on tell me, please." Her friend shook her arm and pouted her mouth.

"Then wanna come with me after school," Sana said.

"Okay sure, but are you driving?"

"Yes I am driving," Sana thought it would be better if she could tell her friend to keep it a secret for a bit. Then, when they break up, everyone will know and not spread the rumor.

After School at the students parking lot, Sana waited for Hua and her friend. But it seem to take be taking a little longer than she thought. Then, Duke's friends walked up to Sana.

"Hey, Sana who are you waiting for?" one of Duke's friend asked.

"I'm waiting for Mia and someone else."

"Um, I think that someone is stuck somewhere," he said with sarcasm and laughed with his friends.

"What do you mean he is stuck," Sana raised her voice.

"I don't know he is just stuck, why are you yelling?" he asked. Sana didn't know what to do. She knew that they had done something horrible to Hua. She tried to go back in to school, but he grabbed her wrist.

"Where are you going Sana, aren't you suppose to be with Duke and not with that nerd." Sana couldn't get out. Mia had walked towards them.

"Sana I'm here," Mia said.

"If you don't want Hua to get hurt again don't go near him and Ima tell Duke all about this," he whispered in Sana's ear. Sana eyes widen, she was scare what might happened. Duke's friends left.

"Mia you can take the bus right," Sana said with a hurried voice.

"Yes, but where are you going." Sana didn't answer and ran running back to the school. She ignored their warning and ran her fastest.
