Venturing Into The Forest of Sinners

It has been four days since I came into this Fantasy type world. And so far, it has been tiring. I learned how to make food from ingredients in the farm and the chicken type animals which are around 29 in numbers. I do not like my food, but i still have to eat it. Furthermore the chicken type monster looks quite innocent, but the moment you let it out of your hand, it makes you chase till the time you are exhausted. But I needed the resources to survive. Hence I had to run like a bull chasing the Matador with red cloth in his hands. I received around 300 exp from the day to day chores I had to do like making food, Milking a cow and exercising every day. after reaching level 8 I received stat points for each of my attributes .Currently, my stats are:

The most critical part of my research on my spells was that I could increase my range with practice. But the stamina and Mp I had was not very much. Hence I needed to Increase my level in order to practice my spells more to increase my efficiency. In these four days, I practiced my sword skills and started to polish my movements. But my attributes did not go up. only my perception about my own attacks became more sharp.

I wanted to explore the forest nearby. Also it's been long time since I last saw any human. I had previously decided that I will leave this farm only after I gained some information from the previous owner of the body, but now I am restless.

I took a leather bag and stored food, a pair of clothes and my prestigious failure of a sword inside. today, I will become an adventurer!

After leaving the farm, I looked towards the farm and said,"I will be back in a few days."

Inside the forest, there was no one to be seen. only voices which could be described as shrieks, roars

etc. were heard. I was walking towards the west and according to the map, the town should have been nearby. Suddenly, I heard some footsteps coming from front. i immediately hid behind a tree, because I did not know what kind of people did this world have.

"Did you see the quest board Sarah? It was filled with difficult quests meant for A rank adventurers! I wonder if the rumors about the appearance of the demon king are true." the male adventurer said.

"Even if the demon king appeared, there was no way you would be even able to hold a candle against him, so quit gossiping and look for some animals to hunt!" the girl name Sarah responded.

"They seem harmless to me. Let's try to approach them." I thought to myself. Just as I was about to approach them, there was a sound. the ground started shaking, and there was a roar. A roar was not a big deal. But this was not like the roars that were coming from far away deep into the forest. This was much closer. And more louder. The moment I saw the beast responsible for the roar, I lost all my confidence and courage.
