Nicole’s Heart felt heavy

Chapter 10.

Nicole walked back to her room with her grandmother with a heavy heart crying to her grandmother asking her why her grandfather hearts her the way he does. She told her grandmother all that was on her heart regarding the treatment she and her mother got over the years and that Lisa only had to show up and get her grandfather's love without doing anything to earn it.

{Grandmother} don't think on things like that right now just focus on the fact that you will be marrying a prince and will be a princess soon. Your grandfather has his issues but you don't have to make it your.

{Nicole} I just feel like that Lisa woman is coming to take over my life, Prince Scott and his mother the empress wants him to marry Lisa and that is why they made that plan to get her into bed with him that night. I am afraid that even if I marry Prince Scott he will keep trying to get Lisa's attention and wish that he married her instead of me. I feel like he has regretted cancelling his engagement with her to be with me.

{Grandmother} even if he has regrets you are still going to be his wife and all you have to do is win back his heart and with Lisa already married to that crazy prince and it seems like he likes her a lot so his attention will be on her so you don't have to worry about Prince Scott because if he tries anything Prince Robert would be there to stop him.

Nicole was in her room with her maids getting ready for the palace thinking that she was always the apple of Prince Scott's eye and other men were all jealous of the Prince for winning Nicole's heart but now she feels that Prince Scott wants to be with Lisa and not her and she hates the fact that Prince Scott wanted to give her up for Lisa and even after all the mess of that night is over he did not reach out to her to apologize.

After Nicole left for the palace in the carriage with her father and grandparents she sat quiet not saying anything just looking down on her feet and her grandmother hugged her letting her know that she was her granddaughter that she loves and help raise and that Nicole should never forget that.

The grandfather did not say anything he just looked at his son and shake his face in disappointment which his son saw and said to his father that Nicole is his daughter and today they will see that and that she is also the saint and that as well will be confirmed.

{Paul} I know that Lisa looks like Aunty but that does not mean that she is my daughter only that she is family and it is not fair for Nicole to be considered a fake because of Lisa's looks. Jessica was pregnant before we got married but I have been her only lover so Nicole is my child and not another man's.

{Grandmother} let not talk about this right now we all know that Nicole is our family and we love her so lets just go and get this over with and we can go to the tea house in town and have a meal after.

The grandmother looked at Nicole asking her if she was ok with that and also told her that she will take her shopping for new clothes so that they can make a day of it just enjoying each other company. Nicole smiles and agrees to the outing letting her grandmother know that she always enjoy hanging out with her grandmother.

When Nicole and her family got to the palace she was told that the empress was not feeling well and will be in attendance but the emperor and the other officials will be there so they can head to the holy hall of judgement and the emperor will be there shortly.

When Nicole walked into the hall she saw Lisa and Prince Robert waiting near the pool of truth and Nicole face get upset seeing Lisa so close to the Prince but she fixed her face and walked up with a smile greeting the prince and princess.

{Nicole} Greeting to you both Prince Robert and Princess Lisa I am so happy that you both her here today to witness the truth of who my parents is and also the fact that I am indeed a saint.

{Princess Lisa} you were told you are but today you will see that Jessica deceived you all.

{Grandmother} lets not start that please Princess Lisa my granddaughter have only been kind to you and even if you dislike her mother because you felt that lady Jessica stole my son away from your mother and if you feel that your mother was wronged by her for her action all we can do is apologize and ask that you forgive us and we will do our best to find out who your real father is and also made sure that you are registered on your family name.

{Grandfather} that is correct today we will see who your parents is as well and you will be register under our family. I want to apologize for our family for causing you and your mother great pain and we will do our best to make up for what was done we just need a chance to work on building a better future and relationship with you.

{Nicole} see we all love you even though we do not know you and we want to have a relationship with you. We will be sister in laws because we both will be marrying brothers and both will be princesses and for our husband's residence we have to get along so that we don't cause our husband name to be looked down on.

Nicole walked up to hold Lisa hands but Lisa pulled back and stated that she is not here to make family relationship with the people that ruined her mother and her life and she is not in any mood to pretend like she wants that after she said that Nicole did what she does best and started crying looking at Prince Robert with her pitiful look and fell to her knees stating that she only want to get a long with Lisa.

{Nicole} Prince Robert I truly want to have a good relationship with you and my sister in law and live good with you guys so please help me let her wife know that I care for the both of you and just want to get closer to you both so that we all can live happy together as a big family.

Princess Lisa I know that you are still upset that Prince Scott chose me and not you and you had to be given to Prince Robert who at first did not want you either but now you both are happy together and even though Prince Robert's heart belongs to Lady Wendy only he still cares for you and will treat you good so please forgive me because you still ended up married to a prince even if you can't win his heart.

{Princess Lisa} wow! You are so funny, it is as if you think that your fake sincerity would work on me, I don't care about love I care about power because Prince Scott loves you but was willing to give you over to my husband if I would choose him instead of my husband. You were there that night when he wanted to marry me instead of you so let's not talk about love because you will be marrying in with his other two woman so that day it will be three of you entering his residence so focus on keeping his attention and creating his night service schedule between the three of you guys.

Nicole face dropped and she wanted to yell at Lisa put she knew it would not be in her favor to do that so she continued acting pitiful to make everybody see that Lisa only know how to bully others so she cried out that Princess Lisa is being so harsh to her and she did not do anything for this and she only said kind words.

Everybody there knew that Nicole was wrong for the words she was saying provoking Princess Lisa and that is why the princess responded to her in that way. No one stepped up to assist Nicole even though she felt if anyone would it would be her grandmother even though she hoped it would be the prince but no one said anything.

The guard announced that the emperor will be entering the hall and when he did everybody greeting him and he greeting everybody and told Lisa that he was happy to see her again and he congratulated her and Prince Robert on their wedding and that he is hoping for a grandchild soon. The prince told his father that he will work on that and make sure that he will have that good news for him in the near future.

Nicole was upset about the emperor and prince saying all that and she stated that she will make sure that the prince divorce Lisa and she will make sure that Lisa never get pregnant and that she will make her have the same faith that her mother had. She felt so much hate for her because Lisa words of Nicole marrying Prince Scott with 2 other woman on her wedding day was all true and made Nicole heart break even more especial knowing that Lisa was the only one that married Prince Robert on her wedding day because Wendy was allowed to because she was mourning the lose of a family member so that means Lisa will have the prince to herself for 3 years before Wendy can legally enter the prince's residence.
