The battle competition begins
When enough people reached the arena in the coliseum, it was time for the test to begin.
The old man from before once again appeared before the crowd.
"Welcome to the nascent soul battle competition of the scholars meet." He started to speak. "The competition will be carried out in a direct elimination matchup."
"There will be a total of ten rounds that will be happening over the next week. In each round matches will be held in parallel in multiple arenas so that we can finish it quickly. The tokens in your hand will show you the arena you need to head to for the matches. The winner will proceed to the next round and the loser will halt their progress."
"During the battles, you are not allowed to use any weapons beyond your current cultivation level. All talismans and formations are also not allowed unless they were refined by you. Finally, all pills and secret arts that will improve your strength in exchange for damages are also forbidden."
