Renegade Jenny (Pokemon Fanfic)

Policewoman dies upholding her values that have been passed on by her mentor and is reincarnated in the world of Pokémon with no cheats and knowledge of the games or anime but even that had not been that helpful to her in her new duties. After many losses of her Pokémon, many injuries and finally a death, she somehow finds herself back to the time of the officer exams where she received her first Pokémon. Twice engulfed in flames, twice dying for the cause and facing hardships but before her second death, she declared. ‘No more! If I survive this then I will no longer live like this!’ When she awoke, she decided to no longer stick to her principles that were taught to her by her mentor as it only brought her pain and she did not receive what she had earned through her self sacrifice. I do not claim to own Pokémon, its plot or characters but there are some changes I may make to the original story and add my own characters. Cruelty

Kimi turned her attention towards the other captives within the room to check their condition. "These people really are a not worth sparing."

Upon closer examination, Kimi came to see the wounds inflicted upon the poison Pokémon that had been captured and restrained there.

Each of them had cuts and bruises all over their bodies while some seemed to have suffered broken bones.

There were clear signs of abuse all over which were the direct result of the people who captured them fully intending to exploit them for all they were worth until the day they died.

They were not their own Pokémon that followed them for a long time so they would not care much about keeping a closer relationship with their captives and would use harsher ways of treatment to get what they wanted.

They inflicted terror and fear upon them through the harm they put them through which caused their natural reactions to produce their poisons as a natural defence.

When they no longer had the energy to produce the poisons, they were beaten again by those that held them captive to try to force more out of them until they were finally convinced that they should be allowed some time to rest up again before the next extraction would begin.

They were not skilled scientists and professional hunters that understood everything about Pokémon but were just a group of people that had been involved in that part of the world for some time.

They did not understand the limits of the poison Pokémon they caught and they only worked with basic tools while they made use of abandoned buildings to work from so they were often met with setbacks and failures during the process of extraction and collection.

The violence shown towards their captives suggested that it was not the first time they had done it and from Kimi's observations, they did not seem to show any remorse for their actions and would repeat their actions again and again.

There were some people that were just in certain professions or ways of life for the fun of it or due to them liking to do cruel things to others while others were just in it for the money.

Those that needed the money could be just as violent if they desperately needed more and wanted to extract more from those they captured.

Those that were in it for the pleasure just continued to inflict more pain upon the captives until they were satisfied.

It resulted in the scene before Kimi that was very unpleasant to look at and would let most Pokémon fans wish to wring the necks of those people that Kimi had left alive.

Many Nidoran, two Nidorino, Nidorina, two Oddish and a Gloom were under heavy restraints and lay weakly with their bodies heavily wounded.

They seemed to lack the energy to move around and had lost their liveliness from the torture they had endured over a long time.

Around them were bottles containing poisons and another device that was by some other bottles that contained some poisons that could be scattered around the area to poison others or induce other effects.

It seemed like the device was used to suck up the surrounding poison in the area once it was released then was sealed inside the bottles to prevent the spread of poison within the room.

Kimi touched her earpiece and said. "Can I just kill them?"

Old P responded calmly. "Well done but do not let your emotions affect your judgement. They are just small fish that are a part of a much bigger pond. We could go around capturing or killing many of these types of people but we would not be able to stop the root of the problem."

When they had been restrained, they had been blindfolded to prevent her from being seen so they had not seen her appearance or could be able to give anyone information about who had attacked them.

All they would be able to identify was that there was a strange red metallic bug Pokémon, a Nidoran and something that was throwing sludge over them.

It worked in her favour even if they lived but Kimi did not like that they could get out of their imprisonment one day and may repeat their actions.

She was a believer that people could change if given enough chances and if they faced their punishment but that was not always true for everyone.

There would always be repeat offenders who would even go on to do much worse once they got out from their imprisonment.

Kimi took several photos of the crime scene before sending Chansey to use heal bell on them to remove any status conditions that may have lingered on their bodies. "What now?"

Old P answered. "I have tracked these guys for a while now. They are not anyone noteworthy but they have been trying to get into another group I have been investigating over the past five years. If I was not so old then I may have been more active in bringing them down.

You have taken photos and can just leave this place as it is but it would be best to put them into their Pokéball after a little treatment. When dealing with those involved.. keep them tied up and try to extract as much information as possible from them about their potential partners or affiliations.

The league has overlooked these groups for far too long and greatly underestimates the damage they can do. This may be a poison focussed region and we may have ways to cure poisons but most would only prepare them in advance for a journey outside of the city.

If it was inside the city then most may not have any tolerance to poisons and would not have a cure nearby or would think to use it in time due to them not being exposed to poisons before. Higher levels of poison would work far better and some rarer poisons would be difficult to cure through normal means so you can imagine the harm those being distributed around the underworld would do within the cities.

There may be cases that have been overlooked and were written off as Pokémon attacks that may have happened due to wild Pokémon slipping into the city rather than being the work of humans due to the evidence being the poisons that were extracted from Pokémon."

Kimi quickly found the right Pokéballs and applied some medicinal sprays to their bodies before taking them back inside of them then walked towards her captives with a cold look in her eyes.
