first time for everything

The sun rises and Rena's still asleep until she hears a loud bell sound. She  jumps up surprised and  hears a knock on her door.

"Yo kid don't worry about dying your hair black or whatever I'll send an exception to the boss alright?"

"Forget about that, what the hell was that??"

"Oh the sunrise bell it's a pain isn't it the mayor wants everyone to be up at the same time."

"That's stupid Hikari"

"Hey I didn't make the rules so get ready we gotta be at the school by 8 because you have a ceremony. You're gonna have to speak obviously."Hikari told her "boss wants to see if you connect with the students."

"Oh ok no problem"  Rena said while applying the final touches on her face. 

Hikari was a bit taken aback by her nonchalant response to that sudden notice. "Your not surprised or scared?"

"No" Rena said again in a nonchalant tone. Hikari smiled at that. ( I was thinking when she came here she would be very closed off with me, hell she barely looked at me last night.) Hikari thought to herself.

"Hey, before you came here, what did you donate school?"

"Hm?, Oh I was student council president not the best at speeches but I did what I had to do." Rena said.

"WHAT! Damn  I really hit the lottery huh? If only you told me that sooner. You or I wouldn't have to go." Hikari said

"Hahaha my bad ok I'm ready!" She shouted before opening the door and seeing Hikari wearing a white lab coat over her black collared shirt and black pants.

Rena was inspecting her uniform and smiled. "I'm a bit surprised I got this already, was thinking  I had to wait a few days. Are you a nurse, Hikari?"

Hikari nodded "nurse, counselor, same thing really and I made sure to order the uniform beforehand. I asked your pops about your clothes sizes and all that. Anyway let's go, we'll eat a quickie before we get there." Hikari said before grabbing her keys and Rena following but Hikari then stops and looks at her.

"Yo if any kid gives you any shit you tell me you hear? I'll give them a piece of my mind."

"That won't be necessary, I'm prepared for that. I mean what I did was on the news after all." Hikari sighs and went down on one knee and puts her hands on Rena's shoulders.

"Yeah but your father and I basically pleaded with the police to not release your name. Also you can be prepared all you want but no one prepares for the unexpected. What if a distant relative wants your head then what?"

"Don't know and besides if I get hurt I have a nurse for an aunt so I'll be fine."

Hikari sighs "Let's go kid  get in the car."

They arrive at the School and it's  small and has a sandy soccer field next to it along with a beautiful garden in front of the school.

"Welcome to Yamato high Rena Kousaka enjoy your 1st and final year here." Hikari said.

The ceremony started and Hikari was backstage sitting on a chair not listening to a single word the principal was saying just looking up at the ceiling.

("YOUR NOT MY DAUGHTER YOUR A MONSTER GET OUT YOU MONSTER!")

Rena's breathing increased and she holds her chest. (Calm down Rena this is a fresh start for you, your second chance. I wonder what other students will think of me. The thought of a distant relative wanting my head is scary….I would have no choice but to let them.)

"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome your new student council president Rena Kousaka!" 

Rena quickly got up and kick backed the chair before sighing "let's fucking go" she whispered to herself.

Rena came out to no reaction, something she expected as she took the microphone from the principal and sat cross legged.

"Do I have everyone's attention now? Nice to meet you all, my name's Rena and I'm from Tokyo."

She hears a few ooo's from some students and chuckles to herself. "Now let's keep this short and sweet. Unlike other presidents I do care about my fellow students and will fight for changes. My first change is for everyone to wear whatever style and color they want.*

The audience erupted and Rena smiled 

"How's that for something different? If you have any request you can ask me when this is over or in my clubroom thank you!"  

The audience applauded and Rena got off stage and sat next to Hikari. 

"Talk about making a good first impression not bad president."

"It's pretty difficult winging a speech but I did well I do plan to talk to the principal

"Yeah…. you're gonna need luck there he's a stubborn fool did you listen to what he said?"

"No" Hikari and Rena hold in there laugh

The ceremonies ended and all the students went back to Their classes except for Rena who needed her schedule and she wanted to talk with the principal.

She felt a tap on her shoulder and she turned around to see a girl the same height as herself, short black hair and had a big smile on her face.  "Nice to meet you prez my name's Ayumi Nanako! I have a request for ya."

Rena just smiled at ayumii (she's certainly bombastic I  wonder what this first request is gonna be find a notebook? Help me with my homework?  I can-

"Can you help me find my bra?"
