Rémy was proud that Ian took the environment seriously. The loup-garou were particularly concerned about their natural habitat. Rémy continued, “Sustainable energy is in its infancy, and we don’t have much time. We started with the worst polluter, automobiles. Now we’re going after coal.”
“Tell me more about the batteries,” Ian said facing Rémy.
“The battery is smaller and lighter than the one currently in production cars, and we’ve brought down the cost so it will be only about fifty dollars extra per car. We’re talking to Ford and Chevy. I want an American company to get first dibs. I’ll sell to the European Union and the rest of the world after the batteries have proven themselves here.
