E1 C1 The First Day

Lilac sat in class bored out of her mind, it was true that she wanted to be a huntress. But she never expected that there would be so much learning involved! Especially when it came to history. With professor oobleck racing back and forth speaking a million miles a minute. Ever since she had became a student at Beacon Academy. She barely had any time to go see Loki in the hospital in nearly a month due to her rigorous class and physical therapy schedules.

The excuse as to how they were not a full team was because the school had said something along the lines of their fourth teammate undergoing rehabilitation from serious injuries. Which wasn't a lie, but a definite omission of several facts involved.

She looked to Carter and Kersay. Both of who were teammates and watched as they struggled to keep up with the teachers fast paced speech resulting in most of Carter's pages becoming completely unrecognizable with scribbles.

Though luckily enough for them the class was almost over and they would soon be able to go onto arguably the most exciting class the school had to offer. Combat training.

"Miss Venetia. Can you tell us what the Color Wars was about?" The Professor asked catching Lilac off guard. She had clocked out of what he was saying and was just in her own world for most of the class. Fortunately enough for her, it was one of the things that had been pounded into her brain for most of her life.

"It was about people wanting freedom from how the world was at the time, and so they named their children after colors and things relating to colors. Which is why we have so many named after colors, and even teams after colors or those resembling one." Lilac spoke proudly earning a nod of approval from the Professor.

"Not how I would've worded it miss Venetia, but good job, seems you were paying attention after all. Now I must remind you all that there is a test tomorrow covering everything we have covered about the Color wars throughout the week. So do make sure you have properly studied."

Those words earned a pained groan from the class, even causing one of the students to slump over in defeat.

"Now mister Grey now isn't the time to act so defeated. If you need assistance with any of the content we covered you can come by after school and we can walk through everything."

This earned a small snicker from the rest of the class who was quickly silenced from Ooblecks stern gaze. It was also at that moment that the bell went off. Signaling their freedom, which most were excited to take. Especially Lilac.

Once everyone had gotten settled down in the stands of the combat class. Everyone watched on in silence as they listened to Professor Goodwitch speak.

Outside of the classroom stood Loki, who was accompanied by Ozpin who was truly amazed at how well the young man had turned out after the multitude of treatments he had been under just to return him to an acceptable level of health.

"Are you sure this is the first class you want to take part in?" Ozpin questioned the young man who struggled against the dress coat that he wore.

"It is the first one I would like to be apart of, it will allow me to loosen up my muscles after spending nearly a month sitting stationary. Couldn't even train or work out while in the hospital." Loki said expressing the discomfort he truly felt having been in such a place for so long.

"I understand how you feel. But we didn't want to risk anything worse happening with your health after the injuries you sustained." Ozpin spoke truly feeling bad for the pain the young man endured, and probably still did. But he didn't show it. Not externally anyway. "Are you ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be Professor." Loki responded as Ozpin led him into the room filled with eleven students. All who turned their attention to the pair who had entered the room.

"Good afternoon Professor Ozpin, what do we owe the honor?" Professor Goodwitch asked taking note of the young man who was with him. That must've been the student who had been hospitalized for the injuries he had sustained during the events of the Factory.

"Just wanted to bring in our student. He is in good enough health, though please take it easy on him for the first couple of exercises"

"I will try my best." She said in response before turning her attention to Loki. "You can go ahead and introduce yourself to the rest of the class if you don't mind."

Nodding he turned to the rest of the class freezing in place for a moment when he focused his gaze upon three familiar faces. Lilac, Carter, and finally Kersay. It was also in that moment that he noticed the almost cheer like reaction that came from Lilac. Clearing his throat he would look at the Professor apologetically.

"The name is Loki Lyanthite. Remember it well not fond of having to repeat things. Also not here to make friends, just trying to become a huntsman. So that means I will have to deal with you all for the next couple years" He spoke simply and loud enough for them to hear.

"You think you are some hot shit don't you?" One of the individuals called out from the top of the stands. Looking at him he noticed that it was a young faunus with hair similar to a color of a mango.

Professor Goodwitch went to scold the student only for Loki to cut her off with a wave of a hand.

"This is a place where we can spar and train correct?" Loki asked the professor, earning a nod. He would then give her a thankful nod before walking over to his team taking a seat. He wasn't going to out right destroy that faunus. He was going to do it when the time was right.
