“Paret et tempus adpropinquavit,

(Be prepare, the time is near,)

Dissectum caelo et in sanguinem luna,

(Crimson sky and blood moon,)

ululate, et clamor mordicus arripere,

(Howls, snarls and scream,)

Arma et scutum,telum,

(Armor, shield, weapon)

Semel iterum lux erit vocare,

(once again light will be summon,)”

“Kiel, are you okay?” a warm hand cares my face as my blurry vision cleared again.

I looked around the room confused. I shook my head and smiled at him easing his worries. I pulled him into a soothing hug and let out a shuddering breath.

“I love you,” Araxiel nuzzled into my neck and I felt him smiling.

“Are you sure you’re alright,” he pulled away and cupped my face. I looked into his eyes and all I see was worries and anxiety. I kissed his temple and hug him once again.

“I’m okay, let’s go meet the Council, you’ll know it in the meeting,” I finished dressing up and made our way to the Moon Chamber.

It wasn’t the first time I requested a presence with the Council, but this time it felt tense and a tad bit nervous. Araxiel gently took my hand in his easing the little turmoil in me. A sudden chilly wind hit my cheek. The voice from before whispered the same message to me again. It stopped once we reached the chamber.

“Presenting, Alpha Wolfrik and his beta Araxiel,”

“Thank you Eligor,” the said Delta proceed to his assigned seat.

“It’s been awhile Alpha Wolfrik, Araxiel; what seems to be the problem for you to call the presence of the Council in such haste?”

I look at the sculptured man, at a glance people could tell that we’re related, his hair, face and structure are no different than Araxiel and I. His eyes, only his eyes set us apart. He owned a pair of blue and emerald eyes. I would say he could pass as our brother.

“Arakiel,”

“Sorry father,” I mentally face palm at my unprofessional move

“It’s okay child, so what’s the occasion?” he fleshed me a warm smile.

“Cassiun Olean…” I studied their expression and sure enough the elders look as if they just saw a ghost.

Low murmur begun buzzing around the chamber.

“Silence, proceed” the murmur died down and all eyes were on me again

“Yesterday a lone wolf strayed into our territory and we managed to captured her, she revealed that she was the last survivor of the Ledger tribe,”

“That’s preposterous, the Ledger tribe was long gone,” one of the elder shouted in anger.

“Calm down Edmund, let the boy finish,” father voiced was never this cold or strain. Not ever since the war. Father nodded signaling me to proceed.

“As Edmund said, at first I denied the fact but her silver coat with the matching silver eyes couldn’t be ignore and the fact that she could match Araxiel in combat meant something.” I studied their faces before turning to Araxiel and his smile never fail to calm my frying nerves.

“I…no we were shown the angelic rune of the Ledger tribe and her true form was enough for me as a proof. Oh, she took me back to that day and I met Solas.” gasp filled the chamber and father was petrified his pale face became paler if that even possible.

“I beg you Elder Wolfrik, please I just want the truth, father please,” the last part came out as whisper.

“I guess the time is near.” Father moved to the center of the chamber and motion us to step into the pentagram.

He unclasped the small crimson crystal vile he always had around his neck and unscrewed the top.

“I Dagon Lycaon, in the presence of the Council and both the alpha and the beta will conjure the reel of past.” he passed me the crystal vile.

“I present to you alpha Wolfrik, the last of Solas Olean’s blood as per her wish.”

“What you’ll see is the truth and only truth.” I took the vile inspected it.

“Whatever happen, or however agonizing it is please control your mind, I’m talking to you now as a father not your elder,” father moved closer to Araxiel holding him as if something he was asking for some strength or assurance.

“Araxiel, please….please what ever happen don’t let Arakiel loose control. I can’t bare the thoughts of losing you two again,” by this point, father was shivering and tears was stream down his face.

Never in my life had I ever seen father this despair and cried freely in the presence of the council. It sting my heart looking at him like this and at the same time confused me as he said loose as again. What did he meant by that. Araxiel engulfed father into a tight hug and just nodded in reply. I can sensed the sorrow building up in him.

“Drink up my sons,” Father said in a hush tone as he stepped out of the circle and begin to chant with the others.

I glanced at Araxiel, assessing whether he was ready, but his eyes and smile gave the answer. I tilted the vile and passed it to him for his share. The chanting grew louder almost deafening. The earth underneath us begun to crumble and our father’s voice penetrated the blueish sphere that surround us.

“I Dagon Lycaon, release you for the blood bond of the earth, now you will be free to use the angelic form to seek the truth, but remember that is only the past. Don’t be consume by it.”

The small crack became wider and finally it swallowed us. To say everything was dark was an understatement. It was pitch black, not a single light present. I couldn’t even see or even sure if I had my eyes open. In my struggled, I felt a familiar fluffy sensation around us. Only then I remembered Araxiel was with me. I started to grope around and a soft giggle fill the void.

“Are you done feeling me?” Araxiel snorted as his giggle turned to laughter. I felt my cheeks burn. Well that went well.

“Love if you have finish laughing, can you please light something up,” I tried to sound cool but it seems to make him laugh even harder.

“Fine if you won’t I will do it myself,”

“No…no..ha..ha.. wait I will do it, sorry,” Araxiel pant and took a deep breath.

A small sparks twinkled between his finger. He raised his hand and open it again. A firefly like light about 50 or more of them flew out in front of us creating a soft glow but enough to make see the surrounding.

“This is all I can do for now, this place doesn’t seem to have that much light source of the similar energy.” I smiled at him and nodded.
