So I took Mei Lin hand.

"Listen, you are my best friend, and besties so I love you so much, but I think its best I stay at Mr. Mu tonight since we are leaving to Beijing in the morning tomorrow."

Her jaws dropped as soon she heard my sentenced.

"What? The two of you are going to Beijing, together? Why?" She shocked.

"It's because Mr. Mu and I, we are taking a road trip." I looked at him and winked.

"Hm…Fine then, but as soon as you get back we are having a girl's night. No excused," She warned.

I smiled and hugged her.

"Yes, I promised, we will. And we need now go find Dr. Ma for the prescription and I didn't see a ring on his finger, so I could tell that he liked you too."

Immediately her gigantic smile grew across her face.

"Do you think so?" She's screeches in happy.

"Yes, I am. And I confirm so, now let's go."

Mei Lin started to walk out of the room and then turned around and looked at Mu Kai.

"You better take care of my babe and make sure she's alright. She's likely important as a sister to me." She's pressured on Mu Kai.

He smiled at her.

Then I looked at Mu Kai who currently was helping me down from the bed.

"Why would you pass out like that? Is something wrong with you?" he asked.

I grabbed my purse.

"I don't know, but I think I took too hot a bath."

"Em. So you need to be more careful next time." He lightly took a hold of my arm as we walked down the corridor.

My eyes widened as I saw Dr. Fang walking in the opposite direction towards us. Immediately, my heart started racing as I did not want to talk to him, especially in front of Mu Kai.

"Miss Ru?" He said as he looked at the bandage above my eye.

"Uuh. Dr. Fang, lovely to see you again," I faked a grin.

"Miss Ru Wen, what happened to you?" He asked.

"Oh, I fell and hit my head and I tripped in the hallway." I told.

He looked at me curiously.

"Oh. How have you been feeling now?" He asked as he skimmed on my condition.

"Yeah. I've been feeling great Dr. Fang, now if you will excuse me as I have to get this prescription filled." I cut the meeting quickly.

"Yes, of course," he said as he looked directly at Mu Kai.

"Have a good day Dr. Fang," I smiled as I could not get away from him fast enough.

"How do you know him Ru Wen?" Mu Kai asked.

Yes, I knew that brief encounter would trigger questions so I looked straight ahead at the sliding doors.

"He's my family doctor and I've seen him a couple of times since I've moved here."

"A couple of times and he knows you like that? Why would he ask you how you're feeling?" Mu Kai asked curiously.
