(16)Angels here we come

Sapphires POV:

I woke up with the sun shining directly in my eyes. "Stupid dang sun. Ugh, get a life!" I mumbled as I got up and headed to the bathroom.

I turned on the shower to as hot as it could go and jumped in. I winced and groaned as the hot water touched my skin. I then relaxed and started to wash my hair with my strawberry shampoo, which is always kept here for me.

After I finished my shower I headed to my closet. I picked out a pair of dark blue short shorts, and a tight black belly shirt. I just loved how it showed off my belly ring.

I slipped on my black flip-flops and headed downstairs, following the smell of bacon. I walk inside the kitchen to see Adaline cooking.

"Hey sis, you ready to head out?" she asked. "Yea right after I eat" I replied getting down a plate from the cabinet. "Obviously" she replied, rolling her eyes while setting out the food on the table.

I took a couple of pieces of bacon, two eggs, three pieces of toast, and two cinnamon rolls. Yea I know it's a lot, but hey I'm a werewolf.

After I got done eating I headed towards the fridge. I got out a bunch of carrots, lettuce, and raw meat. I headed outside towards the barn where my dragon is staying.

Once I got there I walked over to his stall. "Hello, my human" he greeted, with a grin on his face. "Hey, little Ephinus!" I said while laughing at his disgusted face. "I am anything but little," he said while standing tall.

I shook my head and put all the food in a weird little food tray thingy. Once he saw it he dug in. I waited for him to be done and walked him outside. "Now stay here and don't cause any trouble," I said in a baby voice while walking away towards the house.

"Stupid human" he mumbled, "I heard that" I yelled over my shoulder. He just shook his head in response. "Adaline let's go!" I yelled while grabbing the box that has the two pieces of the sword in it.

"I'm coming, I'm coming. No need to yell" she grumbled while coming down the stairs. I laughed and walked back outside to Ephinus.

Once there I hopped on and held out my hand for my sister. "Wait, I actually have to ride that thing," she asked while looking him up and down.

I laughed and took her hand, slinging her around and onto my dragon. When she was behind me she held onto me tightly. I shook my head. "Let's go!" I yelled to my dragon. He bent down and leaped into the air.

**Two Hours Later**

We have decided to go to the land of the fallen angels first. We were only 2 minutes away now. "Hey look over there, I can see land," Adaline said while pointing towards a large, tree-filled, chunk of land.

My dragon swooped over towards it and landed. As soon as we landed, four large fallen angels came swooping down to meet us.

"Hello my name is Saparra, I'm the leader of the fallen angels, how may I help you" the girl in the middle of the other three guys, asked.

"We are trying to create a divine sword, my mate has been captured by a pack of different species, we are guessing they are also rouges. We came here to get a fallen angle to help" I said in a calm manner.

"Sure I would love to help a wolf-like yourself get her mate back. I will let you borrow my best fighter, Alex" she said while smiling.

Then her eyes glazed over, I'm guessing she was mind linking this Alex person. A couple of minutes later a girl with fiery red hair came down out of the sky.

She had beautiful black wings. They even looked blue when the light shined on them. She also had striking icy blue eyes and looked about 20. "Hello my name Alex, nice to meet you," she said while shaking my hand.

"And I'm Sapphire, this is my dragon Ephinus and my sister Adaline," I said. She nodded her head towards each one of them then looked to her leader, who nodded her head towards Alex.

"Well we need to got to the Isle of the Angels also, so let's go," I said while hopping onto my dragon with Adaline. We all then took off to the sky heading east towards the Isle of the Angels.
