New Warden

"…You are making things mysterious on purpose. Just say everything clearly," Ren Yue spoke with a frown.

Long Chen smiled and spoke, "This battle will occur during the year-end examination in the Storm Desert Sect. What do you think will happen if she defeats all the top leaders of the most powerful gang in the outer sect one by one?"

Ren Yue finally understood what Long Chen was inferring, "I see. Her prestige will grow dramatically. Most of the outer sect disciples of the entire Storm Desert Sect will join her group."

Long Chen nodded, and he added, "That's correct. And what if Tao Lihua acquires the legacy of the Storm Desert Sect at that moment?"

An excited glint appeared in Ren Yue's eyes as she spoke, "Even the elders and the sect master of the Storm Desert Sect will be forced to pay attention to her."

"Hmph. That's not all. Just the fact that she has acquired the Storm Desert Sect's legacy will make her the next sect master of the sect. Not even the Sect Master of the Storm Desert Sect can change this rule. Miss Ren, you will have acquired a whole sect as your ally in your battle against the Jin Family."

Ren Yue was tremendously excited to hear this plan. But she quickly calmed down and spoke with a worried look, "This has many issues. Firstly, we need to train Tao Lihua to a level that she can defeat the strongest disciples in the Outer Sect. She requires talent, intelligence, resources, techniques, battle experience, weapons, and luck to accomplish this feat."

Long Chen chuckled upon hearing those words and asked jokingly, "Why fear when I am here?"

Noticing the grave look on Ren Yue's face, Long Chen quickly became serious and spoke, "We can't do anything about her talent, intelligence. I will teach her some techniques that should instantly boost her battle power. As for the battle experience, I will need you to send your guards to accompany Tao Lihua on a journey."

With a serious tone, Long Chen added, "We will make her fight against beasts, and humans of the same rank. There are many forests brimming with beasts and bandit camps. There is even a colosseum in the nearby city."

He paused for a few seconds to let Ren Yue digest this information.

Long Chen soon continued with a smirk, "We will also help Tao Lihua fulfil her missions so she can easily acquire a weapon from the sect by utilizing those contribution points."

"There is only one issue in my entire plan," Long Chen spoke somberly.

"What is it?" Ren Yue asked. She found his plan quite good. In fact, the more he explained, the more she felt that it would work. So what was this issue he was talking about?

"Is Tao Lihua to be trusted?" Long Chen asked the question plaquing his mind.

Ren Yue seemed relieved when she heard this question. She spoke, "We will know once we meet her. But I am willing to trust her."

'Yeah. We will indeed know when we meet her,' Long Chen spoke.

"…Also, Brother Long, I had a request," Ren Yue suddenly spoke.

"What is it, Miss Ren?" Long Chen asked.

"…I feel a bit disappointed that you still call me so formally even though we are so good friends. Please call me by my first name," Ren Yue spoke.

When she first heard Long Chen calling her maid as Miss Tao, Ren Yue felt rather sad. She realized that Long Chen had been maintaining a distance from her. So, she wanted to use this opportunity to deal with this distance.

Since Ren Yue had requested him, Long Chen felt it would be rude of him to reject her. Thus, he nodded and spoke, "Alright. I will call you Yue'er in private. Will that be alright?"

Butterflies fluttered in her stomach as Ren Yue heard him call her Yue'er.

"…Mhm~. I will call you Brother Chen in private. Is that alright?" She asked softly.

"That's okay," Long Chen responded with a polite smile.

"Let's return to our rooms. It's time to cultivate," Long Chen suddenly added. He didn't want to waste a single second of his cultivation.

Ren Yue was a bit dissatisfied, but she understood that she couldn't waste her cultivation time.

The Mayor announced the new warden of the prison. And the first day of this warden in the prison, a terrifying news was released in Suqui Town.

Ren Yue was missing from her cell. Her cell was in the Underground Dungeon and only Lian Ming and her direct subordinates knew of her location. They were naturally the prime suspects who had released her so secretly.

Even the Jin Family was startled to hear that the last descendent of the Ren Family had escaped.

They kept Ren Yue alive because they wished to find information about her faction. Moreover, the Jin Family was also planning to use her as bait to entrap her loyal subordinates.

However, they never could put this plan in motion as the JRA had launched numerous attacks on the Royal Capital of the Zhongxing Kingdom. The Monarch summoned all the top experts of the Noble Families from the nearby area to form a united front against the JRA's assaults.

When these experts returned to their respective domains, they found themselves with a slew of unfamiliar problems to deal with. Therefore, the Jin Family had no time to consider dealing with Ren Yue.

And now, the worst had occurred. Ren Yue had escaped from the prison.

The Mayor Wan Tao had an ugly complexion as he heard this news. He never could have expected that shortly after assigning a new warden to Suqui Prison, he would hear this shocking news.

Mayor Wan Tao didn't dare to blame Lian Ming regarding this escape.

The news of Ren Yue escaping from the prison caught too much attention. Even the Jin Family was alerted.
