As soon as he finished reading, he felt a strange feeling coming from his back. More specifically, it came from the black apparatus present there.

The sensation was that of an itch, but instead of tempting to scratch that itch, he wanted to stretch, as if waking up from one of those sleeps.

The feeling eventually became stronger until it overpowered him, making him stretch. The apparatus on his back also suddenly split into six black, smooth and a bit curved spider legs. The ends of each leg formed a very sharp looking edge on the inside.

They stretched backwards and outwards for a bit before relaxing as he did. He looked back in fright after realizing that something was off. He clearly had the feeling of having extra limbs which was very hard to explain.

Looking back he could see the six legs attached to his back in a relaxed position, however they were not folded completely and he had a vague sense that they were completely under his control.

After calming down he thought of moving the legs as he would with his hands and feet and it worked. They moved backwards when he commanded them to and seem to work like a normal limb.

"Am I spiderman now?". As he continued to extend and retract the legs he thought of multiple possibilities that could have ended up in him having spider legs but never came to a conclusion.

He then tried to extend one away from the others, which moved by itself. He was going to have to get used to having these legs, was a thought that came to his mind since it seemed that he was stuck with them so he just had to accept them.

He the went on to show a childish side of himself when experimenting on what he could do with his new limbs.

After experimenting for a bit he seems to be able to extend them to a length of about 1.5 meters, they were also able to be folded into a small tablet sized thick shape similar to a cuboid on his back. He was dumbfounded but then thought it might be functions of the extension skill he had.

He then focused on the other icon in the corner of his vision. This one he was able to discern what it was even before the status page but left it for last. It was a symbol representing a map (imagine the map from Clash of Clans in campaign mode, basically a miniature version of it).

It opened up to show an overhead view of where he was and his surroundings, bit other that a few areas around him the map was empty. There was a question mark on the corner of the map so he focused on it and a few lines explaining how the map worked appeared in his vision.

After reading he came to a conclusion; the map was only able to be filled with info when he visits different locations, however anything in that location only appears on the map If he looked at them, so he was able to look at a piece of grass on the map from a 3d perspective If he has looked at that piece of grass from different perspectives before. Basically the map records info from his eyes and registers it into his map.

He tested this out be looking around for a bit then zooming In on his map to see that while I'm his vision the trees move, it was still on the map, after looking at the tree again, the view of the tree on the map looked different.

'Damn, this is too op', it was, 'I bet no one gets lost in this world'

Anansi the began thinking about what to do next, because he couldn't just stand there for the rest of his life so he had to make some plans.

"I need to find shelter first If I want to survive, I also need to create some basic tools as well, being naked like this feels weird, so I want to make some clothes soon-"
