Chapter 24: Aftermath in Otheon

After the fall of the Orion gang and the other Gangs in Otheon Rey who is in a hospital bed wearing hospital garbs as his hero outfit is neatly folded and his guns untouched and the Mule system is in mint condition no disturbance or anyone messing around it. At his side drawer desk were filled with get well soon cards from the Police, Military, Citizens, and some of the heroes of Otheon. With Rey who is still unconscious he is still recovering from his blunt trauma injuries and bruises around his body. But most of all he was exhausted due to his battle injuries and his identity was revealed but the media were warned that no one must know about Gunslinger's identity from the US government and the Hero association of USA.

And with that Rey then woken up as his eyes open up first the his body began to move a bit as the nurse who is tending to Gunslinger began to report to the doctor that he is awake. Then Rey tried to sat up from his bed as he felt the sharp pains of his latest fight with Orion as the Nurse help him. After he sat up from the bed the doctor arrived as he explained about his injuries and the Video evidence about his fight about how he should be care but the doctor was thankful about his somewhat of a baggy but layered costume help it from dampening the impacts. Also he told him about his slightly dislocated left shoulder joint and some bruises as the also treated them and told him about his unconscious episode that he ran out of Electrolytes in his body. And they have to add some I.V filled with electrolytes to his veins to regain most of his energy.

Then Rey just listen nonchalantly but first he needs a bit of a rehab for his body function to return normal as he can feel his body was a bit groggy and off balance since they told Rey that he was unconscious for 1 in a 1/2 days last he was awake. As people cheer for his victory and his recovery as he was doing some rehabilitation for his body returning it back to its former glory.

As Rey finished his Recovery from his body he then changes to his Costume and was escorted out with a wheelchair for liability reasons. As soon as he was out of the hospital Specter was waiting outside waiting for his commander as Rey get up from his wheelchair and walk towards specter as Rey began to move towards the airport but first he has to get a cab for reach to his hotel where he left his personal items there.

As Rey arrived back to his hotel he can still see that his personal belongings and his cleaning equipment for his guns are still there neatly organized by Staff and no one touching some of the guns he had left. As Rey store them back in his Mule System storage device including his spare clothes personal toiletries like shampoos, Soap, skin care products, and his personal cologne. Then the room was now empty from his personal things and leaving it as he entered in the room when he first arrived.

Otheon Airport as Rey was waiting for his flight in his hero outfit tourist were thankful for his fight against Humarise and Orion. As Rey nodded to their complements as he was rewarded by the city with a compensation for clearing out the crime rate and helping the heroes. Then some of the women were thanking Gunslinger by either seducing him or either getting up close and personal as Rey was a bit annoyed about it but also a bit aroused from that until Clair Voyance made a clearing as Clair was giving death glares at the women of Otheon as they were scared and returned from their spots. Then Clair lead Rey back to the backstage as Clair grabs him by the collar of his coat and he was closed to Clair as she is blushing red. Rey on the other hand didn't know what's going on until she gave him her number as he can see that there is a heart next to the call me. As Rey look up to where Clair is but She ran away from embarassment then Rey didn't know what's going on as he looks at the note and Clair back to back until Rey shrugged and put her number into his Coat pocket.

In the present time Rey then look at the number as he was still contemplating until Rey was stopped by a familiar heroine Clair Voyance. As Rey looks at Clair as Clair was tired as she was catching her breath until Clair began to say something to Rey.

"Umm...Thank you for erm.... Saving my- I mean, our city Gunslinger without your help The city will be having problems in taking control " she said with some nervousness then Rey nodded until Clair dashes right to the rightside of Rey and she kissed Rey's cheek.

Rey was taken by surprise with his eyes widen and he touched his cheek with his right hand as Clair still in her stoic look also having pink cheeks from the embarrassment as Rey nodded without any sound. As Rey was also frozen from the spot from what is going on until Specter who is always following him tazed him using his small tazer to wake Gunslinger as he was awake from that dazed moment. As Clair was slightly chuckling from that interaction and began to leave and waved Rey for his help and bid farewell back to his states of Texas. Then Rey also retuned to her a wave of his own as Rey regain his sanity and began to leave For his flight.

As soon as Rey returned home everyone congratulate Rey for his actions of helping heroes from other countries also his states of Texas as Rey thank everyone for their support and made a small speech that will motivate many of them to continue their work as Rey returned back to his office.
