Duke Appears...

Genos looked at Mosquito Girl whose strength has increased exponentially with amazement. Genos's electronic eyes locked onto Mosquito Girl as he raised his only arm to begin his attack on Mosquito Girl.

"What are you looking at ?", Mosquito Girl asked mockingly.

Mosquito Girl moved at an incredible speed to Genos's back. Mosquito Girl appeared behind Genos back as she had teleported there as she swept her sharp claws across Genos's metal body.

A cross section of Genos's metal body was cut across. Only some metal remained to stop Genos's body from being cut across and separated.

Why is the strength gap between me and Mosquito Girl so great ? Genos thought to himself.

Electricity flashed in Genos's golden eyes as Genos was surprised at how strong Mosquito Girl had become. After Mosquito Girl evolved she had become stronger than Genos, before that they were equally matched. Now Genos wondered how could he fight back against Mosquito Girl ?

Genos turned his jet thrusters on intending to slam his whole body against Mosquito Girl. At the same time Genos intended to use his remaining Incineration Cannon against Mosquito Girl. It was unfortunate that Mosquito Girl moved too fast and was only playing with Genos. If it was Genos previous enemies they would have been killed easily.

"Oohh...too weak ! Too weak ! Didn't you say you want to kill me ! Are you just talking big ?!", Mosquito Girl asked as she mocked Genos.

Mosquito Girl sneered at Genos and she was moving so fast she was leaving her shadows behind. Mosquito Girl was moving too fast for Genos to fight back. Mosquito Girl's sharp claws kept on leaving scars on Genos's metal body. Like a cat playing with a mouse, Mosquito Girl kept attacking Genos while laughing at him.

Genos's figure was really pitiful with many of his electrical parts scattered on the ground as Mosquito Girl continues to abuse him. Genos's metal body was riddled with holes. As Mosquito Girl moved Genos's both legs was cut off one by one until Genos was no longer able to move.

"Too weak. You can't even kill a mosquito. Ha. Ha . Ha.", Mosquito Girl laughed wickedly.

Probably because she was tired of playing with Genos, Mosquito Girl licked her lips and moved her sharp claws aiming at Genos's head.

"Next time it is your head.", Mosquito Girl said disdainfully.

Genos was helpless, he couldn't move his body as he saw Mosquito Girl zoom towards him.

She is too fast. I can't keep up with her speed. I was careless before, if only I had stopped her before she transformed. Now it's too late, my body can't fight anymore. The only thing I can do is perish together with her. Genos thought to himself.

A trace of determination flashed in Genos's golden eyes as the blue energy source in Genos's torn chest started flashing.

Don't the people in City Z need to sleep ?!", Duke was rambling incoherently in an angry loud tone. The roar came from a dilapidated residential building nearby Mosquito Girl and Genos, the person shouting was the half awake Duke.

The angry shout interrupted Mosquito Girl's killer blow to Genos as Genos looked up and saw Duke in the distance.

"There are still people in this area. He seems like a delicious desert. Ha. Ha. Ha.", Mosquito Girl said as she giggled. Mosquito Girl left Genos and flew towards Duke in the dilapidated residential building.

"Be careful ! Run !", Genos shouted out.

"Shut up ! I told you not to make any noise !", Duke shouted out angrily.

A strong flash of energy appeared and disappeared into the sky parting the clouds.

In mid air half an arm fell in front of Genos, it was Mosquito Girl's arm.

"Di ! Di ! Di ! Alert ! Alert ! Strong energy reading detected ! Avoid immediately !", an alarm on Genos's metal body sounded out.

"Alert ! Strong energy detected ! Evade immediately !", the alarm on Genos's metal body blared out again.

Genos's eyes widened and he stared in amazement at the dilapidated residential building where Duke had gone back to bed. The electronic alert in his body reminded him that there was an extremely terrifying source of danger nearby.

"He's so strong ! He killed a mysterious being that was difficult for me to defeat in an instant. If only I could become so strong !", Genos murmured to himself aloud. Genos turned his head to look at the source of his alarm.

"Hey ! The Mosquito Girl was killed ! Although she was a trivial experiment but she was killed in one move... it looks like a great research material. If the killer's body could be researched I might make a breakthrough in my experiment."

The man with glasses wearing a white lab coat muttered to himself while looking through the data flowing out from the computer screen in front of him.

"Go ! Bring him back to me ! I don't care if you kill him as long as you bring his body back !", the man shouted out.
