"The Dragon Queen, you say... in truth, it's but a title and nothing more."

"... Pardon?" Xiao Jiantian frowned slightly, shaking his daziness away. "The Dragon Monarch speaks fondly of you and even bragged to me about... well, shagging you. He blatantly stated that you were his wife and described you as such. So... how could it be just a title?"

"Then he must have lied as I've only ever seen him as a junior." Shen Xi replied in a calm voice. "The purpose of this title was to ensure that I was not disturbed... nothing more and nothing less. It was his way of returning the favour of saving his life."

"... Haha... a junior!" Xiao Jiantian couldn't help but laugh a little. Although, if the noble Shen Xi wasn't present he'd be crying from laughter and rolling on the ground. "To think that he deceived me and the rest of the world in such a manner... I'm not even angry... but more so amused at that fact."

"You seem... less hesitant to leave now." A small smile emerged on Shen Xi's face as she took a deep observation of him. "I wonder if that has anything to do with the truth between the Dragon Monarch and me..."

"Well, I just have such a devilish, tempting, face..." Xiao Jiantian smiled as well, his legs far more firmly stationed on the ground than before. "I can't help but charm any and all women I come across... whether it's intentional or not."

"My... you are truly cursed." Shen Xi giggled slightly, confirming his statement. "If you're intent on staying in that case, then you must also... want me?"

'Ho... hold on... aren't things moving a bit fast?'

From nothing, a small plate of wood appeared on top of Shen Xi's head and fell, lightly hitting her.

Shen Xi stood up and sat on her bed before loosening her posture into something more seductive. "A woman that every man under heaven desperately desires and would do absolutely anything to attain... she is sitting right before you, willing to submit to your every wish."

"By not acting, are you even a man at all?"

Xiao Jiantian took a deep breath, stood up and looked down on Shen Xi for a moment. This time, a baseball bat appeared in his hand as he raised it up... and...

Hitting her on the head once more, Xiao Jiantian shook his head.

"There is a difference between a horny peasant and the King who stands above heaven!"

"..." Shen Xi touched her head with both of her hands. The hit itself didn't even hurt her... as a matter of fact, it was more of a tickle. However, the rejection that came with it surprised her deeply. Not in her wildest imagination did she imagine that he would reject her in such a way...

"Let me ask you this... do you, a beauty unlike any other, have any dignity of your own to submit so easily!?"

Shen Xi lowered her arms, her azure pupils shimmering as she looked at Xiao Jiantian's face. She had been left speechless for quite a few seconds...

"I... I'm not saying that you're not my type." Xiao Jiantian sighed, breaking the silence. Afterwards... his face lightened up as he thought of something. "Oh, I know... you said you'd submit to my every wish, right?"

"... Yes?"

"Well, why don't you sing a song for me? In turn, I'll show you one of my sword dances."

"...?" Shen Xi frowned slightly at the request. Out of all the things he could've asked... he asked for a song. "You want me to sing a song?"

'Perhaps I need a different approach...' Shen Xi thought as she stood up, moving past Xiao Jiantian. "Very well."

After a change of scenery, Shen Xi and Xiao Jiantian stood by a body of water in the Forbidden Land of Samsara. It was a beautiful sight, indeed... however, the two people standing before it stole all the shine. Shen Xi took a deep breath before proceeding with a melody that would calm even the most chaotic heart.

She did not even speak words... nor she did not need to. A sequence of angelic hums were more than enough.

'...' Xiao Jiantian found himself blushing a little. "That was amazing, Shen Xi. Now I shall fulfil the end of my bargain."

Standing up, a sword of light materialised in his hand. He calmed his breathing and channelled the most perfected sword intent in all of the world. Then, taking a step forward, he rose to action... the sword in his hands moving like a butterfly. First, he did a few simple sword swings... although they were far from simple if one took a deep observation. Then throwing his sword in the air, he waited for it to descend... catching the hilt at his neck.

Then, with a few twists, the sword coiled and danced across his body like a snake. After a few more tricks, he kicked the sword into the air. Its brilliant light scattered, slowly falling onto the Forbidden Land of Samsara like snow. Under the light's nourishment, whole new plants blossomed from the ground.

Picking an azure flower that came as a result, Xiao Jiantian handed it to Shen Xi.

"Well, what did you think of my performance?"

'I... finally understand.' Shen Xi gracefully took the flower that he had granted her and gave a smile that could bring light to the darkest day. "I can see why you are revered as the Sword God, Jiantian. Such pure, fluid, sword intent... honestly, I've never witnessed anything quite so brilliant."

"Heh, it's the work of many lifetimes." Xiao Jiantian scratched his hair, chuckling.

Roughly two weeks passed with Xiao Jiantian staying in the Forbidden Land of Samsara, growing his bond with Shen Xi. It turned out that the two had rather great chemistry together, being able to speak on rather insignificant topics for quite a while. As long as they were in each other's company, nothing ever felt tedious.

He even shared his embarrassing story of how he was once reincarnated as a handsome dwarf... which was rather amusing, to say the least.

In that time, Shen Xi genuinely fell for Xiao Jiantian and vice versa. It was as if they were meant for each other.

"Must be rather lonely here... far away from the rest of the world and its wonders." Xiao Jiantian remarked, sitting right next to Shen Xi. "Why do you choose to stay here?"

"I have little choice." Shen Xi replied, sighing as she did so. "To shake off my fetters, I've cultivated for days on end... however, even after all these years, little has changed."

"That's... a terrible fate. Is there anything I can do?" Xiao Jiantian asked with a concerned voice.

"You've already rejected me twice before..."

"... Oh, is that really the case?" Xiao Jiantian chuckled, grabbing Shen Xi's hand. "You know... if I only wanted your body, I could've had it back then. But that's not all I want..."

"Then..."

"I want your love." Xiao Jiantian pulled her into him, grabbed hold of the left side of her face with his corresponding and while the other hand sneakily slid down her back... grabbing a handful of her left buttocks. All the while, his lips touched with her own as they kissed each other for the first time.

After a little while, Xiao Jiantian withdrew.

"So... Shen Xi, do you love me now? Or is all you see an opportunity to break free?" He asked, his heart beating unnaturally fast as he spoke.

"... So you want my heart along with my body? How admirable... but I'm afraid that I can't give it to you."

"Oh, why not?"

"That's only because you already have it..." Shen Xi chuckled, having teased him a little herself as she moved in for seconds.

Xiao Jiantian suddenly felt an aura closing in on the Forbidden Land of Samsara... and it was one he knew all too well. Shen Xi also stopped, watching as Long Bai eventually made it past the guards and came into view.

"What are you... doing here?" Long Bai asked, staring directly at Xuanyuan Jiantian. His profound energy surged as furry filled his eyes. He did not attack yet... however, as he waited for an adequate answer.

"Long Bai... have you not learned your lesson quite yet?" Xiao Jiantian shook his head, stepping forward. "Whenever you are in this King's presence, the first thing you do is bow your head and wait for my permission to rise."

"I asked you a question... now answer it!!"

"Tsk... fine, I will answer in a way that you can understand." Xiao Jiantian smirked, looking down on Long Bai. "Shen Xi isn't your wife and she will never be. You want to know why?"

"..."

"Because she is mine."

These four simple words were enough to release all of the darkness profound energy within Long Bai, shaking the Forbidden Land of Samsara and many of the planes close to it from its sheer strength.

"I WILL... KILL YOU."

Xiao Jiantian's face moved to the right as Long Bai landed a mighty punch. Though, Xiao Jiantian stood his ground and shoved away Long Bai's hand afterwards. He spat his blood into Long Bai's face. "Is that all your anger amounts to, Dragon Monarch? Rage more for me...!"

Shen Xi frowned as she watched Long Bai land earth-shaking punch after earth-shaking punch to Xiao Jiantian's body. Using Xiao Jiantian's blessing of darkness profound energy and restoration of the God Realm's divine aura, his strength had far surpassed his old self... and this showed.

"YOU BASTARD... WHY DON'T YOU DIE!!"

Throwing him to the floor, Long Bai stood over Xiao Jiantian and eventually bent over, pummelling his body further. Once his anger had subsided, he took several breaths...

Xiao Jiantian looked up at Long Bai, his azure eyes glowing with pure contempt as if he had been hit by a fly. "Would you... get over yourself?"

"You're the saddest fucking excuse for a 'monarch' I've ever met!!"

Xiao Jiantian rose, smashing his head against Long Bai's. They both took a step back, as a result, staring at each other for a brief moment. However, Xiao Jiantian wasn't playing around anymore.

"You were the strongest profound practitioner in all of Primal Chaos... and a man who was once regarded as my superior." Xiao Jiantian laughed, wiping away his own blood. "You dedicated everything to a woman who did not return your own feelings. You lied about Shen Xi being your 'Dragon Queen'. You also lied about having sex with her... when she still views you as a junior in reality."

"What an absolute joke... how can I take you seriously anymore!?"

Swords appeared behind Xiao Jiantian and shot towards Long Bai, impaling the Dragon Monarch at speeds he simply could not contend with. After falling to the ground from his wounds, the swords disappeared.

Xiao Jiantian walked towards him and prepared a sword of light.

"... What is the... point?"

He stopped, hearing Long Bai's unwillingness.

"Is this how you want it to end? For one, you're absurdly strong and talented! Wise... in matters that don't concern Shen Xi! The members of the Dragon God Clan also look up to you as a role model and leader!"

Xiao Jiantian's grip tightened on his glistening sword. "Tell me... is this how you want to meet your end!? Without experiencing the embrace of a woman who truly loves you and without watching a worthy descendent make you proud..."

"Will you die... simply because you couldn't have your one-sided love work out!?"

"..."

"Shut up and live for yourself already!"

The darkness profound energy in Long Bai's body surged, following Xiao Jiantian's will. Suddenly... no matter how much he denied it, he wanted to live.

Xiao Jiantian drove his sword of light through Long Bai, healing his wounds.

"Now get out of my sight and think about how you can improve yourself."

"Y... yes."

Long Bai hesitantly nodded, disappearing from the Forbidden Land of Samsara.

"You spared him... even after he intended to kill you so fiercely?" Shen Xi inquired, looking at the back of Xiao Jiantian.

"I pitied him." Xiao Jiantian admitted, shaking his head as he recalled when he was at his lowest. "I want to see... if he can change. If not, then defeating him once more won't be difficult."

"You are one peculiar man... but that's what makes you special." Shen Xi channelled her light profound energy and healed the wounds on his body. Right after, Xiao Jiantian grabbed her hand and led her back to her bamboo house, pushing her down onto her bed.

"Right after a fight...?" Shen Xi questioned, although she wasn't against it.

"That's the very best time..." Xiao Jiantian spoke softly, tearing away Shen Xi's robes. His breath grew heavy as he observed her naked body.

"You can do whatever naughty things you want..." Shen Xi spoke seductively, looking up at his azure eyes with a certain expression. They each looked at each other with the purest stares of lust. "I'm yours..."

"You don't need to tell me thrice..." Xiao Jiantian smirked. "And you can forget leaving this bed anytime soon."

"Haha... I've wondered how effective the Sword God's 'other' sword was..."

"Oh, it's very effective alright..."
