Shiba Mansion,
The next morning,
Jayden Shiba could be seen swinging his sword in the training ground.
*Hah Hah Hah* Jayden said while swinging his sword with all his strength.
While Jayden was swinging his sword Chen Hao appeared behind him and attacked Jayden with a spear.
Jayden managed to dodge the attack by ducking to the side. He didn't even need to turn around.
"Seriously Master Chen, it isn't even 8 o clock yet. Can't we do this later?" Jayden said jokingly to Chen Hao.
Chen Hao only laughed at Jayden's comments and continued to attack him using his spear.
This time Chen Hao swung his spear like a sword from side to side.
Jayden decided that doing a matrix dodge is the best idea in this scenario.
However as Jayden was trying to dodge Chen's attack he noticed that Kenny had snuck up behind him with a sword.
Kenny swung his sword toward Jayden's legs, trying to put him off balance.
This is obviously not the first time Jayden is sparing with his two masters, usually when facing only one of them Jayden is able to hold his own and even best them most of the time.
However Jayden has never been able to defeat both of them working together.
Today however is a diffrent day.
Jayden couldn't help but notice that the time around him started to slow down rapidly.
It was like his brain was working overtime.
'Ofcourse! The wish... I am basically a supercomputer.' Jayden thought to himself.
'It seems that I can slow down time in the middle of combat, like when I was reading the book the other day.'
'Hmm... Let's see how well I can fight while using my newfound ability.'
Jayden's mind instantly started to show him all possible outcomes of every single move he makes.
It was like a computer playing a game of chess. He knew all the possible outcomes of every single move, allowing him to choose the best move available to himself.
After making his decision Jayden jumped to the side narrowly dodging Kenny and Chen's attacks.
"Not bad Master Jayden." Kenny complemented.
One might think that Kenny is praising Jayden and while is most certainly doing so, Kenny is also trying to throw Jayden off balance using mind games.
Chen Hao tried to use this opportunity to once again attack Jayden.
Jayden was about to parry Chen's attack. Before he barely managed to stop himself.
Chen Hao raised his eyebrows and said to Jayden," You managed to notice the trap Kenny set for you?"
Jayden smiled at Chen Hao but didn't answer his question.
Jayden used his powers to see all the possible outcomes of the match if he were to parry Chen's attack.
In all of the possible outcomes Kenny managed to use the moment when Jayden was focused on Chen to defeat Jayden.
After a few more minutes of fighting Jayden finally managed to knock his two masters out.
Jayden was currently panting from all the exertion. When a small rock hit him on the back of his head. He turned around to see Kira smiling at him.
"I suppose I win this match then Master Jayden." Kira said to Jayden.
Jayden smiled and said," You weren't even a part of the spar Master Kira."
"One must always be aware of their surroundings Master."
Jayden smiled at Kira's comment and nodded.
'I suppose she did help me notice a weakness in the new powers. I could not have predicted a sneak attack.' Jayden thought to himself.
Real life is not like a game of chess where all the possible moves of the opponent are laid out in front of you.
The only reason Jayden was able to predict the moves his master's was because he knew exactly what the two of them are capable of.
If he were to run into an enemy whose abilities were unknown to Jayden, he wouldn't be able to predict the future as well.

After the sparing match in the morning Jayden spent the rest of the day in his study trying to learn more about spell power.
He knows that the nighlogs have a way to instantly kill the head of the Shiba Clan.
The only reason the original Jayden hadn't died in the show was because he wasn't the head of the clan.
'However if the nighlogs were to use the same technique against him.' Jayden shuddered at the thought.
"No I must find a way a way to become even stronger." Jayden said out loud.
There was a knock on the study door.
Kira came into the study and said," Master Jayden you said that you had a order for the shadow division."
The shadow division is the secret organization that is controlled by the Shiba Clan. The organisation's main purpose is to find humans who make deals with the nighlogs.
For the most part nighlogs are quite similar to devils. I mean just look at the story of Dayu and Dekker(I might write a summary in the auxiliary later) from the original show.
However the shadow division also acts as a regular spy organization for the Shiba Clan.
Moving back to the topic however,
"Yes Master Kira, I was recently going through some of my father's old books when I noticed something interesting."Jayden explained to Kira.
"Master Kira how much do you know about the morphing grid?"Jayden decided to ask a question.
"Only that it is the source of your symbol and ranger powers."Kira answered back.
Jayden nodded at Kira's answer and said," The morphing grid is a giant energy source that surrounds the Earth. If one can find a way to access the morphing grid, they can have almost unlimited energy." Jayden explained.
"Our ancestors had used this energy to create symbol power." Jayden continued.
"I don't quite understand why you are telling me this." Kira replied.
"Because I believe that I have found a way to access the morphing grid. Unfortunately the way to enter the morphing grid is apparently in New York City. According to the book my father left me, the access point should currently be in an abandoned underground metro station." Jayden finally revealed.
Kira took a deep breath and said exclaimed," I will ask the shadows in America to find the access point at the earliest, Master."
"Wait... Nevermind I will go to New York myself." Kira finished speaking and left the room in a hurry.
'It seems that she is even more excited than me.' Jayden thought to himself.
Jayden decided to lie to Kira because didn't know how else to explain the situation.
Was he supposed to say " Hey Master Kira I have a way to travel the Multiverse." Only an idiot would believe that.
Not to mention technically Jayden didn't even lie, the subway station's miraculous ability exist due to it being a access point into the morphing grid.
After delegating his tasks Jayden went back to learning about the creation of Power Discs.

In the late afternoon,
Shiba Clan Mansion,
The nighlog alarms were going off inside of the mansion.
"Master we have the received reports that atleast 500 moogers are about to appear through a gap almost 10 kms from here." Kenny said.
"Thats not all Master according to the energy signatures we believe a named Nighlog is very likely to appear." Kenny finished.
'If I remember correctly then the first nighlog to appear in the show was called Toya, if the nighlog is the same one as in the show them there is not really much to worry about.' Jayden thought to himself.
"The water in the Sanzu River should not be high enough to send anyone too strong through the gap. I believe that the nighlog is very likely to be quite weak." Jayden explained his thought process.
"I believe it to be the same thing master, however as a precaution I have asked Chen to call the other rangers here as backup." Kenny said.
"Master Kenny..." Jayden was about to say something before he was interrupted by Kenny.
"Master Jayden even if the nighlog is weak there are atleast 500 moogers with it. Not to mention that named Nighlogs have to ability to be reborn as giants." Kenny stood his ground.
Jayden sighed and nodded his head in agreement with Kenny.
'Its not like giving them another week would have made much of a difference any ways.' Jayden thought to himself.
Jayden isn't really afraid of the nighlog, in the original show Jayden was able to kill the nighlog all by himself. Not to mention that our Red Ranger is far stronger than the one in the show.
'I can't wait to see what my new family will be like.' Jayden unconsciously thought.
